My Uncle Boyce, was an avid sheepshead fisherman (owner of the “CONVICTED”) down in Atlantic Beach/Morehead City area. He loved watching and sharing your videos with us. Since he passed late last year, your videos have been a joy, comfort, and something that never ceases to make my family smile thinking about good fishing memories with him. Thank you for your videos and keep up the good work!
Just started watching your channel earlier this week. I like the content. Im an avid fisherman in the piedmont area of NC, and video a bit, but love to fish the ICW and ocean. Last time i was out was when flounder season was open for the few days they give us. I fished the Basin at Fort Fisher and had a great time. Hopefully, I'll get to come back your way soon before the bite cools off, and I'll run across you. Tight lines.
Awesome fishing guys! I appreciate your channel always straight to business!! I’ll be there next month I hope to catch my first sheepshead! I’ve learned a lot from your channel so I’m feeling pretty confident this trip! Tight lines 🎣
Good video. Great fishing trip. I enjoy watching your videos. You fish alot of the same waters I fish when I get down there. I use a kayak. Keep up the good work. Tight lines
Sure enjoyed this episode. I'm headed to Wachapregue Va. the middle of this month for the flatties. Looks like a lot of out of state this year . Thanks for nothing NC politicians. Still mad. They are trying to make me a criminal.
Was trying the same area recently and could only get the black sea bass and pig fish to bite. I was using fiddler crabs and shrimp. Couldn't find any shops that had mud crab. Any tips for sheephead?
Question : We get BD in May n June in the Delaware Bay which run 30-80 lbs. at night in large schools with the moving tides.. These cows all have Worms in them does these smaller size have worms ?? Cause we just catch for fun n release them . Thanks MB ....
I have rarely ever seen any worms in the Black Drum around here. The smaller ones are definitely better to eat regardless. The big ones are fun to catch though!
"Doesn't count against our 25?" I thought the limit was 10 over 10. Is there something I should know? Thanks for another great video. I'm upping my tie off and fender game, but I'm using a lot of crabs and missing the bites. Lots to learn yet.
@@offkilterfishing I thought the same thing until I was fishing at Oregon Inlet last week and watched a guy get hammered by Marine Patrol for having one at 27 inches. They have done away with the one "trophy" fish over 25'' this year. I would have been in the same boat as him if I would have caught one. Strictly slot now unless different areas of NC have different regs.
@@bryanwalker6442 hard to keep up with all the new rules but the current proclamation for Black Drum (FF-73-2013) still says that one fish over 25” may be retained. Over 27” would apply to Red Drum. Good luck out there.
Just so you know I’m a great mate, Don’t bitch about anything and will bring sandwiches. I have 40 years experience on the water and can get references. I’m pretty fun too. If Joe or the boys aren’t available let me know.

Great fishing video! That underwater footage was awesome!!!
Awesome vid!!! Guess how that looks when a fish gets hooked and pulled from the water only to see other strange creatures.
Okay. There's the sheepshead
So nice to have one of your videos to watch.

Black Drum is 10 fish/person over 14”, only one fish/person can be over 25”.
