I would love to let you know, basra are the best in class pearls. And since you mentioned irregulars pearls should be avoided, basra pearls are majorly irregular in shapes.
Slight irregularity in the shape is acceptable. However, if the shape is irregular to the point that it looks weird, the pearl won’t qualify as Jyotish quality even if the origin is Basra.
