I love the videos and thank you for sharing them with me I spend my few days of free time between harkers island cape lookout and the neuse river/ Pamlico sound areas with an occasional offshore deep water trip out of cape lookout and it is what I live for but I have never achieved the ability to actually live there I’m about a hundred miles inland and at my age it ain’t gonna happen but for every day that I’m on the water seeing what has always been there and will always be there gives me the peace in my soul to carry on. Enjoy what you have and share with us land bound individuals as much as you can because we are walking fishing and shrimping right beside you brother and sister and friends…Thanks so much…
The shrimp will leave just as fast as they showed up. We love the thrill of seeing what's in our bag and I love sharing our videos. Shrimping is a lot harder to do while videoing, but we work hard to pull it off.
@@SaltyReflections I bet it is, I'm thankful you do otherwise many like myself would never experience this, I've been watching you all from the first video you uploaded and have really enjoyed it, I love just about everything water and fishing and for some reason everthing shrimp. May God keep blessing ya'll
Shrimping is fun when you're around others who enjoy it. The shrimp have been really nice so far this year, and we're thankful for our catch. I'm going back tomorrow morning. I hope they're still there.
If cherries are not available, you can get a bottle of concentrate cherry juice at Nutrition World store or at a Natural Health Care store to cure the gout. It works wonders real fast!
Good question. Around 400 lbs. It seems like a lot, but it took a ton of hard work and investment. Trawling with a small boat is not worth doing for most that try it.
@@lylesmith1949 It's worth doing for me. I love spending time on the water. Trawling is another thing that I can do on the water that helps occupy my time. Catching lots of shrimp is a bonus.
In the video you can see a small square in front of the motor. It's deeper than the floor and there is a bilge in it but the water in the floor area can't drain into it. The plan is to drill some holes so the water that gets in the boat drains into it. Then the bilge will be able to pump all the water out.
When you’ll learn to use a “picking/sorting” box/table…a lot less complaining! Learn how to tie a”shrimpers” slip knot…AND in my 37 years of Louisiana commercial shrimping-dolphins have NEVER untied the tail bag rope/knot-(even after 2 hour drags) definitely HUMAN ERROR!😢😢😢😢😢 😢😢😢
I'll still be crabbing till almost Christmas but I always rig up for oyster season I'll crab one day oyster the next on rough days go back in the creeks an tong oysters
@@SaltyReflections not a problem until then yaw be safe an continue yaws good work that's how I unwind every evening from being on the boat all day but today was worth it we had 42 boxes today bushel an a half of number 1s to the box average today an out boxes usually about 125 pounds so all smiles just kicked back watching you guys

Thanks. A man needs to hear he's doing something well.
I love the shrimp pulls, but miss you Steph ‼️
Thanks. Stehanie has been enjoying me shrimping with Phillip.
Lord he needs all the help he can get from you. You are keeping him straight. Be safe, glad you
are teaching him some some things.
LOL. I'll straighten him out. I don't think he wants to shrimp anymore without me. We're a great team and we enjoy being silly together.
Maybe one day someone will show yall how to tie a bag strap the correct way!!! Lol, Nice roe bugs guys!!! You guys make shrimpin look fun, Lol!!!

Thanks. We worked our butt's off for what we ended up with.
Shrimp, ate so much in the past, that I now have Gout and can eat no more. A first world problem. Great videos.
Thank you. Have you ever tried eating cherries to help with your gout. That's what my stepfather used to do to help.

@@vancolucci5949 Thanks for sharing the info with others. My stepdad said they help him.
The dolphins will definitely untie the tail bag rope, unless you lock it.
That's what my bubby said. LOL.
Get em!!🦐🦐🦐🦐 GOD bless yall!!
Thanks so much.
Dolphins are very smart. They can untie the knot on the tail bag.
I can believe that. We'll take a few more minutes to untie our knots.
Keep these videos coming
LOL. I'm going to try my best.
I'm enjoying you and Phillip videos but we miss Mrs Steph
I wish she wanted to tag along. Thanks.
Where can we buy your fresh shrimp?
We post them for sale on Facebook. We're traveling between Beaufort SC and North Augusta.
I missed something, last I saw, your boat was down. Outlive or engine problems...
My boat is still down. This is my friend's boat. Thanks for watching.
Loved the video but would be interested to know what your tally was for the day. That looked like an awesome haul! God Bless!

Do you have a bilge pump for the water in the back of the boat, wish I could have some of those shrimps shipped to me .
