I have to disagree with your supposition that women’s “roles” are seen as devalued. I would ask, what makes a role a woman’s, or for that matter a man’s. This is where patriarchy is so ingrained, that the belief that a woman’s role in society is automatically the caregiver/child raiser, and the man is provider/protector…. Etc. who said? Because of technological advancement, are we still slaves to subconscious definitions of roles in society? Aren’t we in a time where either (all) genders are capable of fulfilling any role? Even biology is up for grabs. With IVF, and the other medical advances, even our ideas of childbirth and what is possible no longer fits.
I mean that's how society survived so long, are we different no?? women's ability to birth has been a thing valued in many religions why is it seen as bad to appreciate that of women??
@@elongatedmanforever1252 your comment proved my point. Because of technology, we are no longer strapped strictly to “biology”. One small example: with power tools, a woman can build things. It doesn’t rely on brute strength. Like wise, with formula and a bottle, a man can nurture and feed an infant. It’s scary for many men to realize, women in my countries, if they choose, have the opportunity to live independently, with their own financial independence.
Your explanation is the textbook example of logical and emotional fallacy. It would be fun to debunk this logic. I should probably make a video debunking your logic in your videos.
'Behind every great man is a great woman' ? Top paid CEOs tend to have stay-at-home women who get to go shopping to spend the money. In strict Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia I read that women like to be able to stay at home with their women friends, not have to go to work, and feel protected by their men who go out to work instead. In Japan the most beautiful women tended to marry the top salaried men, and I would see them enjoying picnics in the park with babies - not having to go to work. Not all people become wise as they age, Some people become dumb
Like you?
@sjjdhwhjw1257 maybe your dumb feminist mother
True, but this lady isn't one of those.
Wonderful ❤❤❤.
But life ISN'T a play?? We don't act out our existence on a stage and men are demonstrably incapable of scripting said performance in fairness to both (esp if this would require sacrifice on their part). Please note: I do not refer to all men. Feminism allows you to choose for yourself- you don't get to choose for anyone else though. Pointless competition (ie SAHM vs career-driven) is not a tenet of feminism but a deliberate campaign of misinformation used to distract us from questioning authority as it relates to accumulation of wealth and power. Women need each other to be safe, I pray for the day we are able to set privilege aside and apply our collective intelligence to greater things.
This is obviously an oversimplification and I mean no criticism towards the makers of this video (information is a powerful weapon after all). I've been a student, housewife, sahm, part-time/full-time employee, married and expecting at 21 to a man 17yrs older and still married to him 22yrs later. I have an adult daughter and I want the world to be safe for her physically and emotionally. I want her to love and be loved- but not at the expense of her intelligence and ambitions. Life is hard enough without sabotage from your own kind. Sorry for the long rant...
Edit: words and terrible punctuation.

@@jyotivyas9286 I don't know what your religion says. In my personal experience, I have been blessed to have beautiful female friendships. Why assume that women are innately jealous? It is just prejudiced. If you really think that women are innately jealous, perhaps you have the wrong sort of women in your life. And what about the jealousy that men have in their hearts. I have personally suffered because male colleagues were jealous of my professional achievements. Yet, I don't say that 'men have innate dark emotion of jealousy'.
Because patriarchy unlike matriarchy actually works.
No, it doesn't. It's currently wrecking the planet. Let's see what happens in two hundred years when we can't breathe the air or drink the water

I mean that's how society
survived so long, are we different no?? women's ability to birth
has been a thing valued in
many religions why is it seen
as bad to appreciate that
of women??
I mean most men are not caregivers
In the house, men are expected by
both genders to be the one to take
charge and be responsible.

Based on this woman's diatribe: I SERIOUSLY think that she does not know the real definition of the word patriarchy. Seriously.
Oh, she gets it all right.
Your explanation is the textbook example of logical and emotional fallacy. It would be fun to debunk this logic. I should probably make a video debunking your logic in your videos.
All words no sense

So explain the fallacy.
A female friend told me it was great scam - enjoying going to cafes to relax with her women friends while her husband went to work - I told her she was talking to a man ... !
