- After a session of Gran Turismo 7 the wheel began to violently shake and would not do anything else. After some troubleshooting by plugging the USB into my laptop only to have it continue to vibrate I decided to take the wheel apart.
What I found was the hall effect sensor had broken away from the motor. This video documents the simple fix. - Ігри

Dude you’re a life saver! Same exact thing just happened to me randomly, turned on my pc and the wheelbase sounded awful, opened it up and mine broke the same way, glued it and it’s fixed! Thank you bro 🫶🏽🔥

Hi I got similar issues with the tgt2
When I turn it on, it stuck from the first calibration. And making the cracking sound. At the same, the the wheel cannot turn smoothly.
But if I waited for 5mins everything works perfectly. I use it for hours, it still working well.
But same issue appeal on next time. Feels like it need some time to warm up.
Do you have any clues about what caused that?
I had a previous to T300 that destroyed itself from the inside. The turning column chewed itself up. Doesn't sound like that is your issue. I did a search and found this video. Is that what is happening with yours?

Hello, I bought a brand new TX leather edition wheel and there is a serious problem with it. I play with three-four fingers(with one hand, no full grip) and regardless of the setting, from the recommended to almost maximum, the FFB is either absent or very faintly felt. When I tested the "forces" from the control panel, there are no vibrations, only the steering wheel turns with some of them. The store refused me a replacement, they sent it to a service center. The base does not overheating at all. What do you think the problem might be? Thanks!

my wheel will just not turn on at all even being plugged in, is it worth taking it apart and checking inside for an issue?
Assuming it's not under warranty anymore it wouldn't hurt to take the cover off and check for a loose connection. Be careful! Also I'm not expert at repair. I just got lucky.
quick question, My wheel base loses FFB after playing for 30 min. It works perfectly but then after 30 it just loses it
Hi it probably gets too hot, press the mode and options buttons at the same time to have the fan always turned on
I got the same issue as you.
But the sensor thingy mount isn't broken for me.
Everything looks all good inside. What else should I do?
Hey, I'm really no expert so not completely sure what it could be. If not a mechanical issue I'd go through the steps of making sure it's calibrated with the most up to date drivers.
@@Darkside_C7 this issue is making me loose my mind. I have installed latest drivers+firmware and all that, restarted pc, power cycled the wheel, tightened the belt and yet still no progress
@@tomzydrifts8478 crap, for as pricy as these things are you'd think they lasted longer. I had another one that destroyed itself from the inside by tearing up a gear. If yours is doing exactly what mine was doing I'm pretty sure it's related to that sensor. So if everything looks connected the sensor may have just gone bad.

Witch way did you take the lid off without breaking it

@@ace.of.flames6361 haha dang. Try pulling one side out to see if it naturally lifts up. I don't recall anything locking clips. If it's still stuck maybe you didn't completely unscrew one of the screws on the bottom.

у меня тоже в игре начал глючить и при повторном включении крутиться в разные стороны и не останавливается.Разбирал,датчик холла на месте,снимал,ставил обратно.. нифига не помогает..
Same issue here. I even dismounted all circuits n plugs to check if something went off the place, then I ensambled all n the mother f doesn’t turn on jajajajaj.
Y tried (for many videos I been watching) to change the power supply for an pc charger, but doesn’t works. I decide to not touch anymore any part, I destroyed more the steering wheel rather fixed it
