What was your issue? I find that Thurstmaster is far better than any other budget stuff out there. These are the only 1080 degree belt driven wheels you can find for cheap. Way better force feedback compared to gear driven like logitech and having 1080 degree is 1:1 with a real steering wheel in a car as opposed to the 900 degree arcade setup logitech uses.
I agree, was just frustrated in the moment lol From research online I think its the glue on the magnet that has failed, I haven't opened it up yet though. When I do I'll be using this video! Thanks
@@frozennorthproductions my T300RS gt is fucked whenever i turn the wheel all the way to the left (or right) the force feedback stops responding and then when i unplug it and plug it back, the initial calibration does not work. I'm very gentle with it and also keep in mind that it is new, I have only used it couple of times.
the shifter feel on my Used T300 dont have a crisp and clicky feel. anyone know why? Edit: I took the wheel apart with this tuto as guide, and BOTH shift hinges where snapped. Have temporarily fixed with 2-component glue, but the re assembly was as mother f. The plastic brackets that hold the shift hinges down have to be screwed in not completely or you might not get a click when you shift. At least on my wheel. Fuck.
Any idea what could be causing the "ghost button" problem. idk if oyur familliar but it actually seems the most 2nd common issue after overheating is buttons being pressed randomly(after days of research and reddit posts no one has a definite answer) For me its both buttons on the base(r3 and l3), ps button, r2 and l2. Wheel is 2 weeks old and im debating just reseating that white connector inside the wheel. I dont think its the pins in the QR(ps/2 connector is what people say) but yeah my buttons work perfectly when i wanna use em its just when drifting or spinning the wheel it lights up all buttons. I know this cus i caught it once in control panel while just spamming feed back tests. Also the wheel does seem to have a rattle like something is loose maybe? never bothered me even in the first week. I can return it to amazon but damn i dont want this issue again, its given me ptsd and god forbid i get one with overheating. I almost thought i had a golden unit/sample until i discovered i wasnt accidentally pressing buttons.
Your best bet is to take the serial number off of the motor and look for it on Aliexpress or something cause various other electronics probably use the same part, so it'll probably be the cheapest option.
more light and a static camera would be nice for the next time. thanks for showing the process
the quality of your content is great. hope the algorithm gods bless u soon.
Really insightful and helpful. I love my T300RS GT. The base is so quiet!
Where does that spring go? 😂😂 the spring when removing the head

Thank you for helping me diagnose whatever was wrong with my piece of shit wheel!
