Turn fog quality to low. There is zero visual difference. And you gain like 8 fps.
Performance is worse than I had expected. Doesn't look as good as Forbidden West but is seemingly more demanding.

forbidden west minus the dlc was a ps4 game. This is the PS5 edition of GoT ported to PC and is running inline with the ps5 exclusive burning shores dlc of forbidden west

why did you use HBAO instead of XEGTAO ? and what is the difference between them ?
Xegtao is bugged right now and will cause the game to freeze before you even get to the main menu.

HBAO from what I’ve seen makes characters faces darker if you like that or not
I'm not getting it till the fix the bugs. Horizon forbidden west crashed my PC Multiple times. The patches they came out with is fixing it but should have been fixed before release.
5:20 is it HDR and my laptop dosent support it or whats going on? why its so dark?
i think the game is so good it was made for oleds.... and normal monitors are shit compared to oleds.
On PC, the game runs like native, doesn’t crash or slow down, everything is perfect.
inferior ambient shadow occlusion, taa instead of dlaa, volumetric fog is not max
Its running quite good for 4k ultra settings. With dlss and fg you'll get 200fps

Без длсс чтоли? У меня на 4070super с dlss в 4к выдает 100-165 фпс, в зависимости от качества длсс. Получается что на 4070 супер 100 тут 135 фпс. Не густо на 4090, думал хотябы 160 будет

sony forces you to have a PSN account and PSN doesn't support 177 countries so if you are in those 177 countries you won't be able to buy the game because sony has removed it from your steam, all they care about is data whether users and revenue in 177 countries doesn't interest them

No matter how many hours, I have almost 150 hours of play and still get a refund, similar to ghost of tsushima, if you pre-order you will be automatically refunded

We've gotten so used to unoptimized games that now we feel like this is acceptable. Even though it still isn't very well optimized
2 years ago experiencing games maxed out at a high refresh rate in 4k was not really possible even with a 3090ti, now we have people calling this "unoptimised"
@@trevorbeyer9720 Ghost of tsushima is technically a last gen game. It was released before the PS5 came out. So I expected better since it's a 4090 running a game from almost 4 years ago. If ray tracing was enabled, then this performance would be acceptable

This doesn't run as good as I was expecting, a 4090 pulling 80fps on a game from 4 years ago that isn't using RT or anything fancy. It runs about the same as The Last of Us Part 1 which is 3 years newer

they really tone down the graphics on ps5 max graphic games from 2020 can still put up a fight on even a 4090 but this game is well optimized even on absolute max. I got 120 fps on this scene tho so idk why his is showin a lil lower, I had to lock my fps cuz i didn’t need it going to 170 fps

Yeah, running the game on ultra is sluggish af.
Fortunately dlss set on quality does wonders, makes my average fps go from 60~65 to 80~90 without any visual downgrade on my 3080ti (5120x1440).
Actually what bothers me the most is the "standoff" mechanic that is bugged, how can you fuck up a mechanic that is basically pressing a single key at the right timing ?

Game is a really complete experience and that's why it got 91 on metacritic.
this shit is too dark. I play on HDR Oled and have to crank the brightness up to 100 and use dramatic contrast
