Well done on the painting and review. I missed the original KS but definitely plan to buy the whole lot on the 17th when they offer the reprint at their online store.
Got this second hand for a decent price and I’m so pumped to paint and jump into it. Nice hearing your thoughts! Also, those are really nice paintings considering you mostly used craft paints. I am actually a bit tired of seeing slap chop everywhere, so some old school dry brushing on a big model is a nice demonstration of other techniques that work well without much effort.
Great paint job of those bosses! I'm a huge fan of Oathsworn, But based on your review, I think I would like this style of gameplay a bit more. It feels more streamlined and quick kind of like Marvel champions.
Hey great review! Great job on the minis! Looks every bit as good as a pro paint job, if not better! And with craft paints! Fantastic! So encouraging to see such a good paint job with dry brush over a simple base. Often we see from a lot of content creators, we see an over-engineered (unnecessary) painting scheme that you can’t really appreciate, that takes hours per model. This blows them away! Thanks again!
If this game had a standee version it could all have fit inside the core box with room to spare. Maybe someday they'll offer that at a lower price for people interested in the gameplay but who don't like minis.
@@gaminggeek241 I think affordability is something more designers should consider. Not everyone has hundreds of dollars to spend on board games, much less ONE GAME they might not enjoy. I also care a lot about compactness and storage space for games, so a standee version would help with that issue as well.

Love your solutions and dedication to organizing! appreciated ;) I was wandering if 6 player boxes would fit the setup you currently have. Also what paint did you use for the iridescent effect?
Six boxes won't quite fit in the original box so one of the player boxes will be out, unfortunately. I used Turbodork 4D Glasses paint over black primer.
Oh nice! looking forward to this one :-) I was going to get this one before but I think the taxes to get it into my country were ungodly!! there was a time alot of projects werent including VAT and other taxes into their products and it did hurt some projects. It looked so cool as well so I am excited :-) I am curious if you ever got Aeon Trespass Odyssey?
I did and sold it after a few tries. I hated being knocked down in battle and basically losing the entire turn a number of times with nothing to do. Also didn't like the random encounters that did nothing for you. I know others like it though, especially as a solo experience.
The boss battle portion is better gameplay experience and more enjoyable combat. The storyline in Oathsworn is amazing whereas there's not much storyline with Primal. So both are worth having but it depends on which is more important for you.
The Forging book changed the game for us. Great idea and thanks for making available.
That forging book is amazing! Thank you, and thanks to the publisher for allowing you to share it.
you did a fantastic job painting these, color schemes are spot on

Jesus H Christ, the shipping for all that must have cost more than the actual costs of the game.
The shipping alone is probably more than most “all-in” project pledges lol
The publisher is covering shipping for current orders from their website, thank goodness.

Sometimes going back to the basics is best.
Thank you for all of this!! This is AMAZING!! Forging book was a game changer!
Sick paint jobs! Some of your best I’ve seen
Thanks, I appreciate it!
I watch your videos a lot and enjoy your point of view. could you please share what paint you used on that giant bug. its so pretty

Yeah, I know Tom Vasel from Dice Tower mentioned he wished there was a standee version--would make the game super affordable.

great review
Can I ask what 3d printer you use for these? Thinking of getting one for inserts and these look really good quality
I recommend the Bambu A1. Works out of the box with no fuss.
@@gaminggeek241 thanks!
Did you look at the player and moster dashboards on cults. It makes for a pretty clean experience
Yes, I did see that--I may print it out but right now, we are finding player management fairly simple.
This GGG has me hyped!
That token holder, what is that? Is that available for purchase?
Do you mean this one? It's free: www.thingiverse.com/thing:6547332#google_vignette
You think it is better than oathsworn?

Looking at the pile of boxes is holding me back.
Very nice.
