On the bright side, you can combine the fish sack & fish barrel to save 1 inventory spot while AFK fishing to make it more AFK. Totally worth.
Honestly made the 6 days of RSI completely worth it!

i started doing this the other day… i hate it. what’s even worse is that you can’t even empty the fish sack barrel unless you unequip it
I still need the fly fishing rod and the fish sack. The angler outfit never dropped a single piece for me in the fish trawler minigame, so I had to get it with aerial fishing. I was at the trawler for a whole week and never got anything.

Honestly it wasn't even that bad until 600 pearls or so, I reckon if you did an hour a day this would be fine tbh 😂 just don't do it in one go, utter misery

I’m 330 pearls in and got my first golden tench! It’s a very very brutal grind, and what hurts the most is the fact that you really can’t make any money off of it unless you’re doing clues

Jagex likes you as much as they do me. All those pearls, all that fishing, and only two goldies. I’m at 870 pearls, and haven’t got one yet. I’ve seen one who got 1000 pearls, WITHOUT trading in ANY of their 8 goldies.
