It's really not that bad. You do a lot of this stuff very gradually and in downtime when you're not looking to play intensely anyway, you wouldn't necessarily just do a huge stretch of skilling like this guy has outside of when you're trying to max really, unless you really want to. I personally haven't skilled consecutively for more than like 3 hours since maxing nearly 2 years ago and I've had supplies to finish both toa and nex in that time.
The nice thing about iron is that there's always something meaningful to afk. Unlike on an end game main where your afk is basically "which pet am I afking for" (of which there are only so many) and a couple random afk clogs like castle wars etc, irons can just afk process the copious amounts of resources they get. There is a lot more variety to end game ironscape than end game mainscape, but at the end of the day it's just whatever appeals more to you personally, so if this doesn't appeal to you, more power to you!

It's actually the most satisfying game mode. When you pack months of supply grind into a twenty minute video it's overwhelming for sure
Yeah this part of iron man blows. But non iron just feels like I always have to be doing an activity measured by how much gp it makes per hour and takes the fun out

One thing I really love about watching end game ironmen is the gigantic stacks of skilling items in the bank
I'm gonna be honest with you man. I watch a lot of end game ironman series and I think this is one of the first times I've seen an episode dedicated to a full resupply. I can't even think of another time I've seen more than just a slight mention of it now that I think of it. It was interesting to see just how much you have to get done in the background and I'm glad you were able to make a video on it. Gives you content in between grinds and gives us perspective on just how much crap you have to do before the grinds even start.
I did one shortly after I started the channel after some people asked for it (similar title about a year ago) and it's always interesting capturing all the random stuff you have to do. Most irons will do this stuff passively over the span of a year, consistent herb runs etc but I like to bank it all up and cash in. Breaks up PVM grinds and gives me something to look forward to

Awesome video! After I burn out of RSC, I think I'm going to start an oldschool ironman.
Couple things here. This is why I just enjoy the journey and yes I’d like to be to late game. But the main reason I made one this year is that insignificant drop feels so good on an iron… ie black mask, whip, Voidwaker from scratch . It just motivates me to play content I wouldn’t play on my main

Yknow what i find amazing about this. The upbeat attitude even when you are dreading a task to do. You truly seem to be enjoying yourself and having fun even when slamming 500m on runes lol

This is the main reason I quit my Ironman and went back to main… I don’t have enough hours to invest in RS these days with work and a family that I felt I was logging in just to do stuff to prep to do the stuff I wanted to do and never really getting to do the stuff I wanted to do, sad truth but I did really enjoy the game mode while I did - if I still had 4+ hours a day to play I’d deffo of stuck to it, it’s without a doubt the most rewarding and satisfying way to play, just a heavy time sink
i was thinking of playing RS again. haven't touched the game since 2012. If a friend of mine is already high combat level ironman and I make an Ironman and level up to him, is there anyway we can go kill bosses together or is there no point way I can play with my buddy if were not grouped ironman?
all i really wanna do is help each other kill bosses and maybe taking turns who gets to loot. IDK if thats even a thing, i havent played in over a decade
@@Zamix69 yeah ofcourse. You can still boss with other Ironman, but loot can be split so if you get a drop it’s yours and if he gets a drop it’s his…

I have always wanted to play a Ironman…. But I’ve got my main and have put thousands of hours into that account and still haven’t gotten burnt out or bored of the main life 😂 plus if I really want to do Ironman shit there is nothing stopping me from doing that with a main! Huge props to all the Ironman players out there ❤️

Also I’m so confused how that blood rune thing works, haven’t played much the last few years. If it cost that much gp (and time) to get the essence how much is saved doing that instead of just buying them?
If you buy the runes in bulk from a shop the average cost is 400-450gp, a little more if you use the wilderness guy. The fragments cost a flat 400gp per rune, so in bulk it's technically cheaper 😊

I’ve always wanted to start an Ironman. Then I think about how any time that id need a weird quest item (such as a bucket of milk or something) that I’d have to run around making it myself 😂 usually changes my mind
You get used to it honestly, a lot of stuff is available in shops (bucket of milk under lumbridge castle, where you buy barrows gloves). It's a familiar but very different game

Quite possibly yeah, hadn't really considered it tbh. Whenever I get the 100 silver ore drop from the RDT I always pick it up though, never short on the stuff
blast furnace should be much faster.
brings me back though, really cool old school method. I did a few k bow strings on my old iron. they were still in the bank left unused when I deironed him😂 Money troubles were over at that time so just made the unstrung maple bows from miscellanea and broad arrows.
Ironman is literally just forcing yourself to do the worst content in the game and convincing yourself its fulfilling

bit overstated. Havent done a herb run in over a year. scar essence mine has solved shopscaping which was only valid if u were blowing thru bloods/souls. a lot of pvm is self sustaining and/or the drain is overrated: a la nex. ppl just need to be more conscious of the supplies they're using and take steps for long term health of account.
