Let's install an aftermarket exhaust! My Infiniti Q60 Red Sport was awfully quiet with the OEM exhaust system. A sport coupe with 400+bhp should sound aggressive, no? Stillen's catback exhaust system for the 3.0 twin turbo should give us a healthy bump in power and a deeper, more pronounced tone on the road.

Yeah I build and sell computers but I also like cars although I didn't have a car yet but I'm very interested in modding them and I'm thinking about getting an older q60 as a start

@@HoloScope if you got money for tuning a car like that go for it, if not i would suggest to look at other "easier" and cheaper cars to modify (good example is a honda civic, or some other japanese classics like corollas or celicas)... depends on how you look at the term "modify"

Lamborghinis are overpriced junk. These cars can outperform a Lambo for cheap. I know because I have a Q60 Red Sport 400.

Very nice. Just a note of caution. Make sure you chock your wheels when lifting the car. In the process of lifting the rear, if say you fell forward and hit your car, your car could potentially roll forward, or vise versa. It’s a good habit to do. Also, ever removing a tire, lay it under the car, should it fall, it will hit the rim and tire before falling on anything else such as a leg or foot. Anyways, science studio just became automotive studio!

The sound from the turbo's spooling is music to my ears. And that exhaust sounds great as well. I was trying to decide which mod should be my first on my red sport and i may just have to go with the exhaust.

Hey Greg so few things I noticed (cause I'm legit a certified mechanic lmao)
Don't ever just rely on the "Park" to hold your car back when you're jacking it up, always chuck your wheels.
Catalytic converters do a specific job; they allow unburnt fuel from the engine to finish the burning process to reduce emissions. They've got like palladium and platinum typically for the hydrocarbon to oxidize and form water and carbon dioxide with fire being the catalyst causing this reaction (see where they got the name? Pretty sure you already knew this anyway but just in case you didn't)
EDIT: Also I think it's really cool that we've got similarities cause you've said you did petroleum engineering as a degree, I did it as a diploma and I'm now doing Petroleum Geoscience as my degree major, we both fix cars and we both like tech. Pretty neat!

If I am to be really greedy, a before and after dyno would go well with the channel’s theme of learning and doing. In general, when you do PC mods, you benchmark, so we understand the price performance gain. It would be nice here as well. Enjoy the upgrades!

Wow, must be so much easier to work on cars that are that clean and new. Both mine and my wife's daily drivers are 20 years old and everything underneath is just filthy and covered in rust.
I love q60s I'm thinking of getting it as my first car it's going to take a lot of work since my parents aren't helping me pay for it but it's okay I don't expect them to, but it's definitely going to be worth it

There wasn’t much room at all under the car to be swapping the exhaust out but you got it done just fine. Btw what kind of camera are you using?

Yeah I actually went back and rotated it sideways. It isn't the lowest point in the car, but it was visible the original way I had it.

Should of went with a full cat delete to x pipe. That's what I have on my E63 Amg Sounds amazing. Btw should of kept the s5 or the new s5 sportback is really cool.
Like I said, I traded the S5 because it was slower, older, more expensive to upkeep, and didn't have a warranty.

You need to run some benchmarks on your car.
Can it run Crysis tho??
Make sure before you turn off the engine let the it idle for at least 30 sec. Better for your turbos, also saves you $$$ in a long run.

Firstly- great video, and you have a great personality for not being condescending while working on the car lol (see that shit all over YT.)
Secondly- have the exact same setup as you minus the stillen catback. Do you honestly feel it helped performance on the car? I do think It will pair nicely with the mods in theory, but 1,300 is tough to cough up if it's really only for sound.
