Painting the Traxxas X-Maxx Body

- Coming at you speed freaks with another video. In this one I show you the process of painting the body I bought to go on the Traxxas X-Max. I have not driven a remote/RC type car in years so I know when I get into driving the Traxxas I will defiantly tear the body up. I do not want to tear the Rock-N-Roll body up that came with the model I bought, so I bought an extra that I don't mind tearing up if that happens. I am sure there are many more bodies to come. This is just the first one and I wanted to paint it to make it look nice. I think it turned out pretty awesome myself. Let me know in the comments what you guys think. Would love to hear your opinions.

Make sure you get the body savers for it! Make sure the screws don’t pop thru!

Nice truck body I've got four of them and I've got one more body to get the 7711x it's on order it's not here yet but that's my next and final paint job that I'm going to do that's a real pretty truck body looking forward to getting it

I got your video in my life on UA-cam I watch it from time to time I'm going to make one exact like one you got my wife always liked the first body the blue one and we cannot get that Traxxas says that they don't sell them no more so this is the closest that I can get to buy the graphics just like you did and then paint it I've got the paint I'm still waiting on the body I went up there Friday to the hobby shop and he ordered the wrong one so I stood there made sure he ordered the right one for me he put in 7711 then x-max but you got to put in there about graphics and it's you got to put 7711x x max so I made sure he did it right this time but it's going to be good

@@SpeedTherapy407 I don't drive mine too often either it just looks pretty sitting over on its box that it came in I got a big red one that I painted sitting on it looks really good but I've been having a little problem with the wheelie bar it flips back too easy so I come up with an idea the put t skateboard wheels on the back of it I think that'll work pretty good I have not put them on yet I just like set back and look at the truck it's really pretty good size too I think they said so fifth scale

Nice job. Inspired me to do one. Are you going to add anything like shoe goo and drywall tape? Got my xmaxx a few weeks ago and already damaged rear end of body. Its too fragile.
Thank you. I didn’t think about those. The graphic body seems to be holding up pretty good. I shelved the factory body as I didn’t want to damage it.
Break the factory body I did mine the same color but I used the spaz paint an mine changes three different blues

It's awesome but only do a few light coats an back it with the crome or what ever color they tell you WHAT they recommend I'm doing another one color changing I want it to do different blues so I might have to mix up some did my first one with the spaz backer an three different blues I'm using auto paint this time
