I still love it. It does a very good job. It takes a while to get the hihat settings right, but when you do, it's very realistic. I got the Donner 80w drum amp from Amazon for $240. More than enough gain for a home setting. Perfect volume for a gig setting. If you get it, hit me up. I got some files and tips to pass off to you to make this even better.
As stated before, I’m a noob. Are you just Bluetoothing your phone/iPad to the speaker to get songs to play along to? Could it be as simple as bluetoothing an iPhone to the speaker for that? Thanks man, I enjoy your videos!
@bcham6567 I have the music output from laptop (drumeo) plugged into my Alesis module. From there my module outputs are hardwired directly to the amplifier. The donner amp does accept Bluetooth from a compatible source, but the module doesn't. I much prefer to hardwire everything to avoid the few millisecond delay (lag) that inherently comes with using Bluetooth. Excited for you dude. To be clear, I've not experienced an issue with using Bluetooth, I just prefer not to. But yes, it is as simple as Bluetooth phone connection and hardwired module to amp.
