Ahh the good old video store were you went direct to the horror movie section and choose the movie only by looking at the cover
This nourishes me. Great idea executed well, well done :D
Weird how many are from the 2000's. I wonder if it's because filmmakers making movies then were wanting to set scenes in their favorite place.
Its suffocating how souless times are now compared to the early 2000s and late 90s i grew up in
dude this video is like a treasure tomb to me! damn I wish I was grew up with video stores like this. it's so nice to see a tribute to this specific place that create a lot of good memories to people. (I just wish I had the chance to visit a place like this at least once tho)
Love everything about this. Well paced, wide range of clips and sources, great grouping. I'm going to wind up watching most of not all these.
That part in Muriel's Wedding was what I was waiting for. And, you actually included it. I can tell you watch a lot of movies. 😆
See: This is what the internet is for. Great work.
A lot of movies and TV shows shown were in the early 2000s. As a kid I loved going to the video store and renting movies and video games.
RIP the good ol days

this is an amazing compilation, thanks for this, makes me so nostalgic... Our last video store here just RECENTLY shut down, was amazing still going through its isles and actually picking movies and talking to the staff about them etc...
Great idea, well done, fun to watch! 👍
I am glad The Holiday (2006) made it.
It used to be Blockbuster video.
Amazing!! Thanks for this!!
Great comeback video to the channel
This makes me kinda emotional? I can smell that plasticy smell and hear the crinkle of candy bags.
Some of my best childhood memories came from going to video stores like Blockbuster and Family Video.
If you look up Third rock from the sun they had an episode or more where they were inside a video store, also Parker Lewis can't loose where his parents owned a video store. If you do a part 2 make sure to include these. :)
