  • Note: A detail drawing is shown at 1:25 (switch to Full Screen to view). Make sure all the pieces in the center "+" section fit into each other. The 1/2" pvc should slide into the 3/4" pvc, which should slide into the 1" pvc. You may need a thinner gauge 3/4" pvc. The 1/2" pvc coupling above the "+" section supports the skeleton by resting on top of the 3/4" pvc. Make sense?

    Here in the UK we just don't have the same pipe dimensions, reindeer motors or stores like fright props, spider hill etc.
    I have to work with 32mm & 40mm pipes and the other option of 21.5mm just isn't strong enough.
    Plus we don't have the variety of joints/connectors for the 21.5 mm.
    I wish we had the celebration and supplies like you have there.
    Best wishes

College Deutschkurse waren so lange her.)

    Love it. Just trying to build animatronics for the first time. Whats the specs on the motor and where do I get one?

      It is a Replacement Motor for 48" Animated Reindeer. They can be ordered from kindys.com for $11.99 plus shipping. If you need a faster motor with more power, I suggest the Dual Speed High Torque Prop Motor from frightprops.com. Best of luck!

    I love that movement. I couldn't see the drawing very well. Would you be willing to send me a copy in an email? You Beloved tomb looks amazing!

    I love this..... But how did you attach the skeleton to the mechanism

    • @HawthorneManorHauntedHouse
      @HawthorneManorHauntedHouse  9 років тому

      kkeegan32 Ahhh, good question. Most skeleton spines are hollow. I inserted the 1/2" PVC pipe into the spine and secured it with screws. I demonstrate this in my other video How To: Ground Breaker at 3:35.

    How did you keep the nut and bolt from unscrewing during the movement? It's about 40 sec into it with the piece of wood connected to the reindeer motor and the PVC.

      +SandricCemetery (SandCem) Great question. On most every build like this, I put a drop of glue on the nut. It is just enough to keep it from unscrewing.
