We join steam locomotive M4 on the shortest day of the year in June 2020 as the engine is prepared for a day of running on the Don River Railway in northern Tasmania.
Great filming and editing.Well done..I could imagine sitting at dining table infront of a roaring opern fire, cold Tassy day, having a hot lunch and glass of red, looking out panoramic windows towards Mount Arthur and seeing the M class full steam hauling a shuttle train out of Denison Gorge. The Loan Star Cafe Station Lebrina.
@@dieuhuefinnie358 Thanks for that mate. Yes I will certainly be coming back to SA. I haven’t booked the trip yet but it shouldn’t be too far away. It’s just a busy time back home at the moment, but I definitely can’t complain as it’s nice to be active, plus doing video editing on the computer.
Thanks very much for that. I am glad you enjoyed the video. This particular day turned out to be a favourite of mine due to the cold winter conditions that made for beautiful steam effects.
Steam Locomotive in winter is good because it exhales steam well! Steam Locomotives in Gunma,Japan don't run much in winter because they slide on the snow 😓.

That was a great shot of the light turning on and get brighter as you hear the dynamo spin up

@ I certainly will 😊 It’s a country I have wanted to visit for many years, and I especially want to see the Kyoto Railway Museum.
