This man is a very smart teacher. it's been a few weeks since I started learning about human vocals but it really works. And he explains every single thing to the point even a child of under 10 can guess wagwan!! This is nice ooo
After watching thousands videos you are talking the real truth. There's a tons of confusing info on UA-cam. In my opinion the key to find a good sound is sustaining air pressure with diaphragm support, balancing the larynx, using aryepiglottic fold, arytenoid muscles , and balancing the soft palate in order to reach the correct vocal cords closure. The good thing of thinking in "open throat" is that helps to avoid straining in my opinion, but I agree with you there is only a feeling. Searching always a "crying and yawning" sound helps a lot because a lot of people tend to sing with cricoid muscles ( that strains ) instead of arytenoid ones, and they don't know which muscles they are using. Then the next key step is to master the vowel changes, specially from/to the "e" Vowell. But nobody talks about correct larynx/tongue set up for Vowell changes and I think is the key. Would love to watch a video with your opinion about mastering vowel changes, and also your comments about my thoughts. Thanks for all.
Totally agree Marian. Thanks for your lovely comment. My one thought is that, it's one thing to tell a singer to use their thyroarytenoid more, to which many will say "huh?". It's another to have them do an exercise that actually engages the TA more. So as teachers, it's helpful to know the ingredients to a better voice. But putting it into a recipe for other singers to follow is the challenge.
Where has this video been all my life. Ive always been so confused because i can feel my throat open when singing but then when i record myslef i dont sound anything than what i think i do. Thank youuu
"If it doesn't sound good to you, then what's the point?" Thank you! I think such a common sense question gets severely overlooked among the thousands of UA-cam vocal coaches.
Can you please do some exercises for a clear voice ? Actually whenever I sing I feel like there is a second raspy voice behind my original voice which stops my original voice to open up and be clean nd clear? How can I solve this? Sir
@@ramseyvoicestudio I went to your video and for me I guess it's easier to sing the girl's line. Doesn't help me like the sound of my Tone. I still sound whiny in my ears.
it makes sense, but how do i add that edge in without feeling like i'm straining? i go softer in fear of damaging something, so there's a method i'm doing incorrectly

I try hiting high notes, I strain even if I try doing that in mixed voice plus my range isn't that great, (I'm practicing though, I should improve overtime) do I get all the strain because I'm just 14 & my voice is immature?
perhaps, here's my lesson on straining, but I always remind you that you should never feel pain, stop if you do: ramseyvoice.com/sing-without-straining/
I'm doing his course and it's freaking amazing but I recommend taking a few vocal lessons with program with a teacher in your area. You got to make sure your doing the methods right but if you got the basics such as breathing done and pitch you might be fine.
