VICTORIA'S VICTORIOUS VOCAL EXERCISE PROGRAM - a different kind of singing program! SUPER AFFORDABLE! MORE INFO & ORDER HERE: www.healthyvocaltechnique.com/order-victorias-victorious-vocal-exercise-program
Hola, soy begginer, i don’t speak English on a high level, but somehow I understand your explanations and i think they are the best of all teachers here on UA-cam in Spanish and in English, I take lessons in my town but I ended with hoarseness and the teacher doesn’t explain this things to me, I watched tones of videos from another channels and I couldn’t understand some things until I came here , they are complete, you say things no one say and they are simple to understand. I have a question: do i need to watch your videos before buying your program or I can buy the program and learn from it what I need to know about technique? Muchas gracias Bella. Besos
I'm a vocal teacher and singer and like to seek out other professionals for advice and to learn how to be an even better instructor. I just found you, and in 3 minutes I say outloud, "This woman is incredible!"
Who else started yawning when she talked about yawns. I really really learnt a lot today. And as I practiced I was able to do the singing with my open throat. Really nice, feel so good. Thank you ma'am.
Your videos are always so magical. I've always wondered how to sing in more of a pop style coming from a choral background. Within the first 5 minutes, you gave me a tone in a pleasing pop style. 3 years of trying by myself solved by you in 5 minutes.
OMG, that is great!! I went through this exact thing when I was trying to sing pop 30 years ago, thinking that my classical technique would allow me to sing anything! Happy to help you in 5 minutes! See my video on Classical vs Pop.
What a detailed and insightful video! I noticed my default singing ever since I've started watching your videos is the second degree open throat. Thank you so much! Forever a subscriber ❤
Thank you for sharing your wisdom! I will be sharing your videos with my praise and worship team! Almost 2 years ago, I had Covid. It greatly effected my vocal cords. My throat is so tight and I have to exercise and stretch my throat before singing. When I had Covid, I had laryngitis for 3 months. Still my vocal cords sometimes sound like I have a cold, or that frog I cannot get rid of. What can I do about that?
First, I would see an ENT dr (preferably a laryngologist) and make sure that your vocal folds are healthy. If all is well, then start with my Beginner Playlist. 🙂
@@Victoria-Victorious Thank you for replying. I saw an ent, he said the vocal cords look fine. But with the over all visit, I wasn't impressed with him. I will be seeing someone else. I've been singing for 20 years and since covid in 2021, I've been singing again for about the last year. I cannot sing as high or as long as I used to. I will do what you suggest. Thanks
Every time I see this lesson from you, I remember the exact same yawn exercise I was taught 30 years ago! 😊 So not only am I learning new things, it's also a refresher on lessons learned ages ago. ❤
❤really appreciate ur teaching and sharing. I've followed ur lessons for a period of time. Here's my confusion: Sometimes i just don't get the correct feelings or the sound exactly. I'm a student from China, and i think different languages may influence our voice.Because the placement of English, where the sound comes from, is not the same as Chinese. I don't sure if it's different muscles evolved to make sound that make a difference. And i think it's gonna be a big deal if we want to sing. So, with my full respect and I really want to figure it out: where the sound comes from and where it should go. I kinda know it's on the back, but can't figure it out on my own. Hope u can see this comment and make a video about it. Or a response to my question. Best wishes.
I cannot tell without seeing and hearing you, but I have had students from China before. I was able to help them find the right vocal color and sing authentically in Cantonese and Mandarin.
How would I go about improving my leaps in notes ? I keep seeming to (so to say) slur or "glissando" from a lower note to a higher note instead of singing the two separately. IE: I try to sing C# and pick off and sing F#, but I hear a slight glide in between C and F#. Maybe its a Legato problem I dont know ?
I do not use that term because I find that it confuses too many singers and makes them sound too thin and whiny. See my playlist on Resonance where you will find your answer in a lot of the videos.
Thank you for your note. As stated on my website, my private studio is full. I am not adding to the wait list. Your other options are: 1. participating in my group classes for members of my audio exercise training program www.healthyvocaltechnique.com/group-classes/ (need to become a VVVEP member first www.healthyvocaltechnique.com/order-victorias-victorious-vocal-exercise-program/) or 2. submitting a video for evaluation: www.healthyvocaltechnique.com/product/video-review-of-your-singing/ Make sure that you are on my mailing list to be informed of future opportunities. The easiest way to get on the list is to get my 2 free e-books: www.healthyvocaltechnique.com/victorias-victorious-e-books/

The audio training program is where you get to apply what you learn in the videos. They are different and can work together!

You are a very good teacher. ( from someone who taught for 50 years and still performing at 80!,)
Amazing! I appreciate the kind words!
I've been taking singing lessons for about a year now and my teacher encourages me to seek my own information as well! This is a great place to learn!
Amazing lesson!
Thank you. My band and my audience thank you as well.
Thank you so much for the lesson!! I enjoyed the whole thing and was able to notice my singing habit via open throat status. Thanks I lot again!!
You are talented ma'am ❤
I already bought your Vocal Exercise Program to keep learning! I am so excited.
100% nuts and bolts goodness. Thank you for providing all of this.

Your post makes me happy. So glad that I can help you!
I learned several new things. Exploring the voice very valuable information. Thank you.
Thank you so much!!
It helped me understand and experience the open throut. I am forever grateful!!
❤
I'm confused because this is super interesting but I've been yawning the whole time badly mimicking the "beginning of a yawn" technique
It’s okay. That is a reflex that should stop as you continue to practice. This is very common.
Another excellent video. So well explained 😊
You're amazing, and thank you for teaching us in such a brilliant way.
I just saw your, this VDO, and it’s helping me already.
Amazing vocal lesson
Thank you ma'm. Your lessons has brought so much so much difference in my singing.❤

If it helps, I sing in the counter tenor range, but I also sing male soprano. I can sing very good as countertenor, but I'm working on soprano.
If I hear that high voice in the middle of the night I run for my life thinking a ghost is chasing me😂😂😂😂. Just joking, great teacher.

Thank you are we sliding a 5th on every exercise?
Yes, as stated in each exercise on screen.
Do you also have a Video on mask singing?
