      Hola, soy begginer, i don’t speak English on a high level, but somehow I understand your explanations and i think they are the best of all teachers here on UA-cam in Spanish and in English, I take lessons in my town but I ended with hoarseness and the teacher doesn’t explain this things to me, I watched tones of videos from another channels and I couldn’t understand some things until I came here , they are complete, you say things no one say and they are simple to understand. I have a question: do i need to watch your videos before buying your program or I can buy the program and learn from it what I need to know about technique?
      Muchas gracias Bella. Besos

    Who else started yawning when she talked about yawns. I really really learnt a lot today. And as I practiced I was able to do the singing with my open throat. Really nice, feel so good. Thank you ma'am.

    Your videos are always so magical. I've always wondered how to sing in more of a pop style coming from a choral background. Within the first 5 minutes, you gave me a tone in a pleasing pop style. 3 years of trying by myself solved by you in 5 minutes.

      OMG, that is great!! I went through this exact thing when I was trying to sing pop 30 years ago, thinking that my classical technique would allow me to sing anything! Happy to help you in 5 minutes! See my video on Classical vs Pop.

    Thank you for sharing your wisdom! I will be sharing your videos with my praise and worship team!
    Almost 2 years ago, I had Covid. It greatly effected my vocal cords. My throat is so tight and I have to exercise and stretch my throat before singing.
    When I had Covid, I had laryngitis for 3 months. Still my vocal cords sometimes sound like I have a cold, or that frog I cannot get rid of. What can I do about that?

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  Рік тому

      First, I would see an ENT dr (preferably a laryngologist) and make sure that your vocal folds are healthy. If all is well, then start with my Beginner Playlist. 🙂

    • @Mrs.Crawford2014
      @Mrs.Crawford2014 Рік тому

      @@Victoria-Victorious Thank you for replying.
      I saw an ent, he said the vocal cords look fine. But with the over all visit, I wasn't impressed with him. I will be seeing someone else.
      I've been singing for 20 years and since covid in 2021, I've been singing again for about the last year. I cannot sing as high or as long as I used to.
      I will do what you suggest. Thanks

    ❤really appreciate ur teaching and sharing. I've followed ur lessons for a period of time. Here's my confusion:
    Sometimes i just don't get the correct feelings or the sound exactly. I'm a student from China, and i think different languages may influence our voice.Because the placement of English, where the sound comes from, is not the same as Chinese. I don't sure if it's different muscles evolved to make sound that make a difference. And i think it's gonna be a big deal if we want to sing.
    So, with my full respect and I really want to figure it out: where the sound comes from and where it should go. I kinda know it's on the back, but can't figure it out on my own. Hope u can see this comment and make a video about it. Or a response to my question.
    Best wishes.

      I cannot tell without seeing and hearing you, but I have had students from China before. I was able to help them find the right vocal color and sing authentically in Cantonese and Mandarin.

      I do not use that term because I find that it confuses too many singers and makes them sound too thin and whiny. See my playlist on Resonance where you will find your answer in a lot of the videos.

    How would I go about improving my leaps in notes ? I keep seeming to (so to say) slur or "glissando" from a lower note to a higher note instead of singing the two separately. IE: I try to sing C# and pick off and sing F#, but I hear a slight glide in between C and F#.
    Maybe its a Legato problem I dont know ?
