  • Dave goes over a few of the aftermarket spring kits available for the B58 that are also being used in the S58. No names are used to protect Dave from being murdered in his sleep. But this is a must watch if you plan on installing a spring kit in either of these platforms!

    I've been using 3 main manufacturers of springs for 10 years and almost no problems with them. But the work you ask each to do is going to make up the difference. They aren't all on equal ground. PSi, PAC, and sometimes Supertech. And I guess on super rare occasions its been RD Spring

    That would be awesome to see a s58 stock vs b58 stock flow bench numbers. I bet once you cnc and do you magic touch in the chambers the flows between them are going to be very close.

      That is a lot of data! We don't share our ported numbers but the oem vs oem would be what we would do!

    I wanted to ask you a question, which I don't understand about the spring measuring machine, the data it gives where it says sprintg rate, what is it?

      Hi Dave, great video. I would also love to see the back to back flow bench data.
      I would also love to know when you port either which one is better for road racing as well as drag racing. Which one has air speed not just cfm. Really interested to see when a light clean up on the throat of the s58 is done (as per how the redbull guys described) what kind of gains we see.
      Lastly, these engines obviously don't rev and are designed to make power down low. What is the limiting factor? Is it the small valves and ports just being restrictive. Is it valve train etc?
