I miss the days where you’d watch post game interviews of coaches saying what they felt and not be handicapped by fines. Don’t bother requiring them to do post games if you won’t allow them to say what they feel
I think most hold back to some degree but at the same time there are a few coaches who just don’t give 2 shits whether you fine them or not! Theyr gonna say what the wanna say! At the same time they seem to be the most successful too!

Uh, fines have been handed to coaches saying dumb stuff for decades.
It’s a business. Your conduct matters. Cursing hurts the brand as it doesn’t appeal to kids and the family-friendly crowds.
He can say and do whatever he wants when not on company time, however, what he says may still be subject to consequences at his place of employment.
He wasn’t fined for saying that, Jesus Christ people. They were fined for the students storming the field. Just like we have been for years now…nothing new.
He handled that pretty well. It was clear to me that he meant victories that excite the fans. The rest is just nit picking.
Listen to him he said right after the storming the field comment that we should do more of it. He forgot that in the SEC they have rules against storming the field
People just look for something to get offended by. It is ridiculous how people get all bent out of shape over things that are made into a major issue when they are no big deal. He wasn't issuing marching orders, he was just being sarcastic. People need to get over themselves.

I guess you didn’t read the part where the SEC has an increasing scale on fines With additional violations triggering bigger fines. Why should the people follow the rule that was passed in 2004? When. It clearly stated “ in all sports, institutions shall access to to competition area to participating students-athletes, coaches official ,support personnel, and properly credentialed or authorized at all times. For the safety of participants and spectators alike at no time before,during or after a contest may Spectators enter the competition area . It is the responsibility of each member institutions to implement procedures to complaints with this policy but I guess why should people who think they are more sanctimonious than God follow a rule that been in place since 2004 smh

We like to compare ourselves to guys like Hitler and say, "Hey, I'm a pretty good guy compared to him." But when we compare ourselves to God's standard, we realize that the Bible speaks truth when it says that we all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God!!! When we see this ( our sin in its TRUE light), we see how much trouble we are in and we say, "Well then there's nothing I can do. I'm going to hell for sure then." It's true that there is nothing that WE can do, but there is something that has already been done for you! God sent His One and Only Son to die on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins! So to recieve that eternal sweet sweet forgiveness, all we must do is repent of our sins (meaning to continually turn from them and confess them) and trust alone in Christ as you trust a parachute. If I was to push you out of an airplane, you'd want the parachute for sure! Don't try to flap your arms and save yourself, trust in the parachute! His finished work on the Cross IS ENOUGH!! He is the only way to Heaven, He said it Himself!! These other religions teach that we must he good and do good things and then maybe if we've been good enough, we will enter Heaven. But if that is true then we are all doomed to eternal hell because none of us are good. That's why this makes sense. Look at the Ten Commandments, they are written on your heart right now!! I promise that you have violated them. And you might still be doing that today. Therefore God is just to poor out His wrath on us because we deserve it!! But Christ died for us so that we can spend eternity in Heaven with Him! Turn to Him today, and He and only He will save your soul "Verily, verily I say unto you, you must be born again ( to go to Heaven)."✝️The true joy of Christ dwells in me!! Does it in you? I know where I'm going when I die! Do you? I have an ETERNAL victory! Do you? I have more joy than ever because of what Christ has done. I have been down both roads. The road of the wicked and the road of Christ. Christ is way better and my cup runneth over with true joy and salvation. If you do not know the One true God and are not sure of your salvation, I promise He will never fail you. Turn to Him in repentance and faith. Sounded like he was trying to say something along the lines of, "Let's perform to the level that fans think they should rush the field." Then realized how it came out wasn't very clear on that. Especially when he prefaced all that by saying, I don't think we did anything to merit fans rushing the field.

Anytime a non-ranked team beats a top 10 team there’s going to be a rush to the field.
Full disclosure: I’m an Alabama fan. I think everyone should cool it, laughing at LSU fans storming the field. These last few years have been a roller coaster ride for a program with the history and expectations that LSU has. What we saw was a passionate fan base with pent up anxiety releasing all of that. I think Bama should bear that in mind, unless we want to see it again.

As a Bama fan myself, LSU has been the 2nd best program in the last 20 years. They just won a NC in ‘19 with one of the best offenses of all-time. They had 2 bad years… that’s it. They’re sitting a missed PAT away from potentially being a one loss team currently. Rushing the field is beneath them IMO and more of a Tennessee thing (1 win in almost 2 decades) but I’m not an LSU fan so who cares what they do? Every time a team beats Bama at home (ole miss ‘14, A&M ‘21, Tennessee ‘22) in the regular season they seem to rush the field so it’s more of a sign of respect towards Bama than anything. LSU has beaten Bama 1 out of the last 10 tries so if they can pull it out this Saturday then I say go for it but also remember that you’ve won more NC’s than at school not named Bama in the past 20….21 years.

Sloppy stupid mistakes, questionable management of the talent he allegedly didn’t even work hard to recruit. Screaming at people left and right like an asshole early in his career until he got flak for abusing players. Oh and then yes, leaving Notre dame before their bowl game without telling literally anyone on the staff or his players to take the lsu job. So ya I have a fairly decent idea how the dude operates. the fact the a college football Coach can get fined a quarter million dollars, and it’s barely a problem to him, and a college professor of Math takes more than 2 years salary to make that…..it’s just amazing what the priorities are in school…. imagine if HALF the revenue that comes in from college footballs was forced to go to the academic part of the school….. OR if a kid gets picked from a college then some of the profit for then college athletic department should go to that kids high school.

It's such a joke! I'm a die hard Notre Dame fan for over 30+ years and this man was my second favorite coach behind Lou Holtz. He's so underrated as far as all time great coaches! He doesn't get the respect he deserves. I'm glad he went to the toughest conference in the NCAA and is doing his thing. Don't get me wrong I love our new coach, but he's got big shoes to fill. You and I broke the law, Jesus payed the fine. So now what we must do to be saved is to repent of our sins and trust alone in Jesus Christ! To repent doesn't mean to just say I'm sorry, but to turn from our sins and let Him truly be our Lord continually. He said that many will say to Him, Lord, Lord I have done all of these things for you. And He will say I never knew you. Depart from Me, ye who work iniquity! And those will be cast into outer darkness and raging hellfire and loneliness for all of eternity!!! Because we broke His law, He is very, very just to send us to hell. If someone had murdered 4 people and said to the judge, I've done nice things too and have tried to treat people nice but it was just one time, the judge would then say, okay but you're going to jail. And the judge is very just to do that. One last thing, if you were 10,000 feet in the air and you had to jump, you wouldn't jump out and flap your arms and try to save yourself. That's ridiculous! You would put on the parachute. It is the same with Jesus. You must trust Him as you trust the parachute. We are not good and we cannot save ourselves with our own goodness. We must trust alone in Him to save us. In just a moment of time you can pass from death to life. Jesus said, "Verily, verily I say unto you, you must be born again." That is how we enter heaven. Through the blood and grace of Jesus Christ!!!!✝️If you ask someone how to enter Heaven, they will most likely say, "Be a good person." Well the Bible says that none is good, no not one. We like to compare ourselves to guys like Hitler and say, "Hey, I'm a pretty good guy compared to him." But when we compare ourselves to God's standard, we realize that the Bible speaks truth when it says that we all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God!!! When we see this ( our sin in its TRUE light), we see how much trouble we are in and we say, "Well then there's nothing I can do. I'm going to hell for sure then." It's true that there is nothing that WE can do, but there is something that has already been done for you! God sent His One and Only Son to die on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins! So to recieve that eternal sweet sweet forgiveness, all we must do is repent of our sins (meaning to continually turn from them and confess them) and trust alone in Christ as you trust a parachute. If I was to push you out of an airplane, you'd want the parachute for sure! Don't try to flap your arms and save yourself, trust in the parachute! His finished work on the Cross IS ENOUGH!! He is the only way to Heaven, He said it Himself!! These other religions teach that we must he good and do good things and then maybe if we've been good enough, we will enter Heaven. But if that is true then we are all doomed to eternal hell because none of us are good. That's why this makes sense. Look at the Ten Commandments, they are written on your heart right now!! I promise that you have violated them. And you might still be doing that today. Therefore God is just to poor out His wrath on us because we deserve it!! But Christ died for us so that we can spend eternity in Heaven with Him! Turn to Him today, and He and only He will save your soul "Verily, verily I say unto you, you must be born again ( to go to Heaven)."✝️The true joy of Christ dwells in me!! Does it in you? LSU has appeared in 20% of the College Football National Championship Games over the last 20 years. We went 3 out of 4 in that span under 3 different HC's. We are just BETTER than this, seriously I agree with BK about it not feeling like one that would warrant or provoke this response. Unnecessary to do that! I'm thrilled we control our own destiny, that's something worth celebrating in November! For this young, new group but storming the field after routing a team we've historically gotten the best of, it hasn't been an actual rivalry in 50 years. Yeah we didn't get much respect from the pollsters but we, atleast on paper have more talent, a better coaching staff, more resources, better local players and a recruiting hotbed, and we SHOULD beat Ole Miss 45-20 EVERY YEAR! And definitely shouldn't be going on the football field afterwards. Then what, ok if we route Alabama tomorrow, are we going on the field again?? Lol think about that, why go on the field for ole miss? Talk about the ultimate sign of respect for ole miss I guess. Save that for the schools who haven't even played for a title in their history. Not us, we are the LSU Tigers and we must have forgotten what that means. We get kids like Harold Perkins and BJ Ojulari and the elite players to come to Baton Rouge to suit up in purple and gold, mostly to get developed and eventually drafted high but that's part of what being a Tiger is all about. Development and sending elite players into the draft to play for pay! Alabama is known for the dynasty in CFB like Ohio State is known for always getting close but not winning the big one.
