My favorite call was when LSU decided to kneel it out to end regulation. So many coaches would have wanted to risk it all but LSU played safe....esp since if they got picked or fumbled than it would be an easy 30 yd fg for bama.

When you look at what Kelly has done with this team, how far they’ve come with 17 transfers and a bunch of freshman learning how to play and communicate together with a brand new coaching staff and a first year head coach. This is truly amazing. I’m going out on a limb, Brian Kelly will not only win a championship at LSU, Brian Kelly is going to create the next college football dynasty over the next 10 years!!

Gamecock fan here. Back in the day our stadium got wrecked by a big storm and LSU really supported us and gave us a hand, they've been my #2 favorite team ever since. Really got a thrill out of this game, great playing and coaching. Love that they went for 2.

Brian Kelly just put his career on the line with that play. The hardcore LSU fans who can’t see the big picture would have crucified him had the play failed.

@@codycuster4565 ehh, I can't say for the hold bc I didn't see it, but in both live and slow motion the "block in the back" looked like more of a flop trying to draw a call. He literally barely put his hands on the jersey and they guy fell to the ground. But didn't Alabama get gifted a pass interference call to set up the leading touchdown? So imo the no call evened out

Also, the only reason Bama stayed in the game was because of no-calls too if you want to be technical. 00:54 54(LT) big holding call missed that resulted in a free TD... but you don't really see anyone complaining about it besides butt hurt Bama fans. Get over yourself

I hope your judgment of LSU’s greatness is not primarily based of their performance against Alabama today. Their offense remained untested today against a poor performing Alabama defense. Until Alabama fixes that side of the ball, they will never compete successfully against teams like Georgia.

LSU is easily one of the best teams in the nation
BK-coach of the year. Guy had only 39 players on scholarship when he took over. F-ing miraculous what he's done so far in his first year. Always knew he was awesome as an ND fan, just couldn't get top level talent. Now he can, and he's showing he's one of the best coach's in the nation.
It's between him and the coach at UNC. UNC was supposed to be a 4 loss team this year, that qb for them is really balling out

I love college football more that the NFL. Week in and week out great games.
The NFL is more like players punching in their time cards, versus the excitement and passion of good college football games, with all of the pageantry and rivalry.
Most college games are blowouts
that two point conversion gave me a heart attack. It was DEFINITELY not needed, but it paid off
No it was needed. Our kicker isnt automatic and youve seen pat can be a problem for us. So go with the hot hand and trust your qb. He'll love Kelly for that and once they got it. Honestly, he might have just showed the confiedence in Jayden. To win out and maybe go to the playoffs
But with Jayden's quick score our defense was definetly getting fatigued bad. They just grinded us, so it might not been enough time for his defense to rest and who knkw if theyll be able to score again let alone in 1 play. Now if they win out and beat Georgia. A 2 loss year 1 BK team could maybe make the top 4.

Tennessee fan here, loved watching the end of this game. Just incredible performance really by both teams. Amazed at the Kelly's gutsy decision to go for two. No one expected that. I can imagine the scorn he would have got had it failed. Really glad it worked out for him.

Coach Kelly won a lot of hearts Saturday night. His transition to LSU wasn't easy but he got over a major hurdle in taking down Bama at home. Daniels also won a lot of hearts as well. I havent compared his game stats to Joe Burrow's 2019 win in Bama but it doesn't matter because he took care of the ball and made the plays when it mattered most.
LSU is back! Congratulations Tigers for one hell of a win. This is what makes college football way better than the whiny NFL.
More excitement and more spirit in the game.
And the player whining the most is Tom Brady. He has whined so much to the officials that if the right officials are on the field, sacking him is a personal foul.

5:41 Refs seemed to have missed a pretty obvious block in the back by an LSU player (62?) on that Alabama player (42?) on that touchdown run in OT.

I was in Baton Rouge some years ago and got stranded (Damn Ford) and a few LSU fans helped me get the help I needed and was able to get home... I've rooted for LSU well before my beloved Razorbacks joined the SEC the only time I don't is when they play one another.
With the momentum we had at the moment the 2 point was an easy decision, that paid off
LSU #27’s block at 5:43 was absolutely incredible. Had to rewatch it like 7 times. Just so perfectly positioned, perfectly timed, perfectly executed.

My family and I who are from Kentucky was at that game with my cousin from Baton Rouge (LSU die hard fan) who has season tickets. It was a great and fun game to watch,our first time ever being at Tiger Stadium.Planning on going back in 2024 season.

As a Bama fan that was a crushing loss. Our defense was slightly above average which isn’t good enough. No stops when we needed it most.
