I'm not impartial here as I hate Alabama, but I think the wheels are unravelling at Alabama, and you have to question the hiring of Bill O'Brien as an OC. The first regular season wasn't all that bad, with a close loss to Texas A&M in a hostile environment and a scare against Arkansas, but they got handily defeated by a Georgia team that looked dead in the SEC Championship game against Alabama.
Now for 2022, Alabama squeaked by with controversial wins against Texas and Texas A&M, but got owned by Tennessee and LSU in games where the offense was listless for sizable portions of the game.

A little different: a WR didn’t dive into a DBs legs like in the Clemson game.
Same play Cincinnati had success on them with consistently in the CFP last year although they lost the game!
This play has been their kryptonite but it’s just a good play that would work on most teams if executed correctly like we did!

@@andersongray9820 I am not so sure. Coach Kelly had a good win here. However, when he played at Notre Dame he constantly struggled in big games. He could win the easy games. Yes, Marcus Freeman had to figure out how to be a head coach, but he just beat the number 4 team in the country and won by a lot (also beating two other ranked teams so far)! Time will tell, but both Coach Kelly and Freeman are in better spots right now. Going to be fun to watch.

I'll never forget the radio guy talking abt how nobody cared abt either program referring to lsu and florida and how neither team matters and no one cared abt the game. 61 year old - grew up in Savannah, and I'm a huge UGA fan. The SEC has some of the most exciting games from year to year, and this one was an instant CLASSIC! I would love to see an LSU/UGA SEC Championship game, and you know it'll be full of excitement.

The SEC is monstrous this year though. The vast majority of losses for any team are from other SEC teams. They could easily make up half of the top 10.

yeah, coming from a bama fan we just got outplayed. Tennessee was bullshit though and y’all can’t even deny that we have like 170 yards in penalties and they still had to scrape by. We don’t deserve to be in playoffs though, we just got outplayed & this was a very well-deserved win by LSU.

Man really! Bama is and always will be a dominate football program. No matter the coach, they are a football school much like Texas, USC, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Michigan etc... everyteam has a great runs and years of rebuilding. Enjoy this win but Bama isn't going away.

@@ethanweeter2732 Replay always protects the refs. No analysis of before and after rotation on the ball, just word salad commentary on that tipped pass... Refs always keeping their eye on the spread to determine how tiky-tak shamelessly they are going to do their jobs. NCCAA needs to issue a credit to LSU for the two judgement calls, one on the fumble and one on the tipped pass, and that blind side block on the punt sucked too, so throw that in as a bonus and zero out that field rushing sanction.

I’ve always thought Brian Kelly was a fraud….but after this season I can honestly say he proved me wrong. If they had beat FSU in week 1 I could honestly put them in the CFP Final 4.
I am huge Tennessee fan. We playing LSU at Baton Rouge that early was big help. Tennessee got all over them early and they panicked. Tennessee blew them out. I told everyone lookout LSU is a good team, especially at home at night. I called that one last night LSU beating Alabama loved it.

This was a fantastic football game! A true heavyweight battle! What a gutsy call by Brian Kelly! The jury was out on him for me…..and Geaux Tigers! earlier in the year I have been somewhat critical of him as our coach but I must say he won me over with that call and that knockout punch in OT! Just amazing!
I was on vacation with my wife in New Orleans when LSU pulled the upset. Awesome city. Awesome people. Want to go back soon.

That guy is essentially another Gene Chizik, who got lucky to find lightning in a bottle with a transfer QB in Cam Newton at Auburn like Coach O had Burrow at LSU. Both QBS and coaches who went on to win the Heisman and then the championship in the same season before being fired two seasons after the title.

Huge respect to Brian Kelly here. Look, LSU ain't back all the way, but getting to the SEC championship after the past few years is notable and is a start. LSU could be dangerous to the Crimson Tide next season and might just be able to give the Dawgs a run for their money (and have an actual chance at succeeding).

Brilliant call to go for the 2 there - you are not going to outlast Alabama in a multiple-OT game with their talent. You get one play from 2 yards out to beat them, that has a much better chance of success. And they play design was outstanding and the execution perfect. Bravo.

I always take cough drops and water with me to every game. I have laryngitis the next day after every game I go to. It’s impossible not to get swept up in the fan frenzy in that stadium. It ranks in the top three loudest college stadiums to play in!

I’m a lifelong Louisiana native and LSU fan and I, like many other fans, had doubts about Kelly preseason. We’ve been through four head coaches since 2003..Saban included..and it’s been up and down..coach o took us through an unbeaten year and a championship win but was booted the next season for not being perfect. First coach to take us unbeaten and championship gets fired the next season for having an average year. Coaches don’t fare well down here if they have less than 8/9 wins per season..or 75%* average..les miles was fired with a 76% overall winning average which is pretty dang good and we still fired him. I hope Kelly continues to do well and has a long winning career here but he’ll be booted too if he don’t keep winning enough for the big wigs.
