- Here is a video update on the Sig Sauer P365 X-Macro with the Holosun 507k optic, and the Trex Arms side car holster. Here I talk about any potential rust issues, my thoughts, and give a little shooting breakdown.

Same gun I got I've had mine since October 2023 I got 4750 rounds through it absolutely flawless I love mine
Finally bought one! I got it in the exclusive bass pro snake bite cerakote finish. Hoping that will help prevent any sort of “rust” issues, also looks bad ass.
Sold mine because the coating was chipping off around the engravings after 2 months. It was a bummer but I ended up getting the G43x MOS and the original 365. It’s been 8 months now and no problems with the original.

@@TheAverageFather I got the vedder with the sidecar and like you stated, I didn’t like it because it forced the butt of the gun out more so I just disconnected them.
In the two months I had it, I shot about 1,100 rounds through it and I truly loved it, the purchase I could get and the overall feel. It’s a shame I got one that started chipping.
I love the G43x. Maybe a little more than the Macro. I attached a Herrington Arms comp and it shoots a little flatter than the macro. Still regret selling but the finish coming off on a $850 gun was just a deal breaker for me.
I have a few rust spots on my Macro mag. I'm a Glock guy, but the concealability of the Macro is great compared my to 19. I added a grey guns trigger and Wilson combat grip module. Also, concealing with a sidecar mag is a must for me, it smooths out everything when carrying appendix

I don’t have any rust issues with mine, it does have some scratches from carry and use though. Try a Madtech Industries grip module for it, you will not be disappointed.

Make sure to get a JX TACTICAL fat guy holster super comfortable even for skinny guys sits low and more comfortable and concealable

The rust issue was from the ported version, At the ports.
Now that makes sense!
No rust. Glock fan boi bs!! The TACOPS is the best of them all imho. Mine shoots and carries better than anything else I've carried on duty and off. Of course the Legion is the best if you need metal.

@@TheAverageFatherOther than their compatability. Nothing. Sights stink. Grip angle blows. You do get used to it, but hey. They're toyota corrolas with no flair. Sometimes you just want a Lexus with power and design.😅

I like it a lot also. Glad to hear some positive feedback on the no rust issue, what about the mags? I live in the humid state of Florida and after my first session, I noticed both mags had 3 spots on the outside of the feed lips were down to bare shiny metal which worries me. Are you see that too?

I’m in Florida and i had mine for about 7 to 8 months and I have the same issue with my mag but no worries it’s not rust and I actually put this rust prevention spray for metal on my mags but very lightly then I wipe it down .
I dont carry my macro i carry a 365 on a xl frame but in no rust in either, not sure if the rust was just a macro complaint? I upgraded the macro to a wilson combat grip module and its even better now.

I have no rust on my sig 365 xmacro non comp model. My favorite edc for sure

Well it was a XL for 4 and half years, turned into a xmacro and I bought another xmacro 6 months ago neither one have any rust, I will say the finish on the new one is a little darker.

Glock boys trying to magnify small problems trying to make it less attractive. The sig p365 series amazing! I love mine
Coming from a Glock the sig feels like a Cadillac.
I love my Macro and 365x, but the FCU sucks to work on.
