I agree with Richard Clark. It's a bit of a niche with this one, but it is very cool. On point for pizza fanatics w/extra room to store it. Great entertaining piece for guests. 1. We have revamped the design and the material of the wooden handle for the oven lid - it's now more durable and stable. The new design will only have one screw to attach the handle to the lid, which makes installation easier and the handle more stable. 2. We re-designed the chimney connection: we got rid of the connecting collar on the oven, and we cut 3 locking tabs at the chimney end and put 3 notches on the top of the oven. We also placed the 3 tabs inside the notches so the users can turn it clockwise. These changes make it very easy to lock the chimney firmly. 3. We have upgraded to a bigger and better bearing for the rotating plate, so that the bearing can be installed easily. This also makes the pizza stone more stable. 4. We have made the hopper lid much easier to open and close.
Looks to me like you could adapt it to a hot tent setup with just a couple sections of stove pipe. Add a couple dampers for temperature control and you would be styling.👍👍
Nice, I reckon that if they move the carry handle (or replace it with 2 handles on the sloping surfaces) you could put a small cooking vessel on top of it as well (at the flame end for some gentle heating) 🤔👍
Great feedback, Billy. The QubeStove can be used as a stove with various pans and other cooking vessels, check out our Kickstarter to see our full list of accessories.
Great video again. Love that guy in the woods cooking a good meal. Best type of videos. I thought it was a mistake you said 750 degrees F, because we cook at home 350-375, but looked it up and said commercial pizza ovens can get 700-800 degrees F. Guess at that heat you REALLY have to watch things
Looks pretty good to me Andy. I’m wondering if it would benefit from a baffle in the back so that the flames from the stove can’t get so close to the pizza. Looking through the window you could see the flames roaring in to the oven. Maybe an adjustable baffle so you can heat up the stone quickly but then deflect the flames when the pizza is in?
Great Video again , and the pizza's looked brilliant compared to the sloppy mess that Bush-Hacker Man served up a few days ago - what a mess that was !!
I’ve been watching you for a while thinking I was already subscribed lol.well I just subscribed and wanna let you know I love your videos man good entertainment for sure.
So what if you can't hand toss the dough. You made 3 pizzas that I would have eaten if I were there. That's the whole idea right? They looked good. GREAT JOB!❤🔥🏕🥓🍕
Andy does the fire unit leave the ground scorched? I know it has an ash pan, but all that hot metal! A shame the top handle stops you putting a kettle straight on the top to save having to move the oven section.
Yes, you can use the QubeStove to heat up a kettle! :) You can detach the oven from the stove and put on the Stove Grate, then put your kettle on. You can check out our Kickstarter for a full list of accessories available with the QubeStove, thank you!
If you check you’ll find wood biomass pellets are not recommended for direct food cooking as they contain all sorts of nasties........they produce food grade pellets for smokers and pizza ovens
Thanks for brining it up Tony, These were enplus A1 grade which I believe are highest quality and food safe (as far as im aware) something I probably should have mentioned.
@@kentsurvivalgearreview586 .....emplus are not food grade as they are made from softwood Cooking pellets are made from hardwood I learned all this from bitter experience with my £800 food smoker last year

“Hardly any smoke” Smoke appears....🤣 Sorry Andy just joking. It is a good clean burner, although using pellets would mean constant feeding as a tent heater.
You managed to burn 2 pizzas event with rotating stone .I wonder what would happen if you use oven with fixed stone. :) And everyone who used this type of ovens know how hard is to rotate pizza in them. I was wondering how no one made rotating stone and now I see this. To bad they don't make gas version. It would be much better. I would build a DIY. One advice, open doors when you put pizza inside. Only keep it close whan pre heating.
i suspect there's only so many tents and knives you can review and stay interesting, i love seeing the different options available, but no i could not buy most of them. i do like to see them though
@@Shadow_Wraith he review whatvhe wants 🤣 what the matter are you jealous you dont get sent stuff to review?there is a clue in the title so maybe dont watch that particular video.bloody woman 🤣
I enjoyed the video as always but I'd have to say that as a product, I consider that a fail. If I'm going to use it at home, I'd rather have something more substantial, and if I'm going to take it camping...well I'm not going to take a pizza oven camping, there aren't many less suitable things... An ice cream maker? An Aga? The real killer though is it doesn't even seem like a good pizza oven. Doesn't look like it cooks evenly, and even your best effort looked a bit underdone in the middle.
The fact that it is limited to wood pellets is a no seller for me. The company should consider a hot tent stove with pizza oven attachment. I personally dont think this will sell real good.
I love Bush craft videos but if you had to go full survival. Your choices of food would be rabbit duck squirrel deer Berry's nettles and all the others. But never see anyone actually do proper full survival vids. It would actually be very difficult to survive a hole year I reckon in proper survival mode. But that's what we all need to be watching
hi Jonathan. you won't see it for 2 main reasons.. UA-cam are quite strict and hunting etc are pretty much a no go, secondly.. at least for me.. its impossible to do in th UK, not enough land and too many laws, not to mention resources that have just been sucked out of the land.. this is why I concentrate on maybe 1 or 2 different skills in a video.. sneak it in. Another reason is popularity, my 5 item survival camp video and my survival food video art exactly popular haha, but ill still try and mix it up.
You really don't like adding healthy veg to your pizzas do you? four bits of pepper man, five bits of mushroom...come on, that is skimpier than a dominoes which already takes the piss out of servings... I love the whole idea of this, but that door looks a bit crappy and hard to fit quickly. And that sonte runing know looks to have a loose fitting, the first time you show that being turned the nut above it seems to shift up out of place??? 800 degrees is nice for the pizza oven part, but that is no where near enough to do proper wok cooking, especially with that stupid looking stove grate they have, that needs to funnel up and ideally vortex the flame in some sort of fan design to go right to the centre of the wok. You might want to get a message to them about that. I have done a wok test burn using modified oil drums and it takes quite a bit of work to get the 700 degrees needed in a tight focused burn spot. I can't see that happening with such an open grate. I don't have the money to back this, but I am definitely going to keep an eye on it to see if they get that wok part up to spec.
Thanks Andy, you are certainly keeping me up to date, yea your gear reviews are very welcome.

Since sending my prototype stove, Qstove made some significant improvements to the QubeStove:

Quite possibly the best looking pizza I’ve seen in the UK
It works a treat. Not sure I would invest in one but if you have the space and cash, why not.
Quality bit of kit mate, keep up the good work👍
Loved it all Andy!!
I really like that you are sent new products to try :-)

neat little stove although it does seem to be a bit of a niche product. With that said, I'd still love to pick one up haha.
I'm surprised you didn't bastardise that pizza base with your usual Ketchup and Bacon
great video, i am tempted Andy...... good review... how much do you reckon they'll be?
Can bread of some types be baked in the oven also,or will there be a bit larger version of the oven that is best for that ?
Nice looking pizza x
Does look like the stone isn't hot enough so the top is cooking well before the base.
Would ir be possible to heat the kettle on the stove? A good review.
