To me, what's impressive about Hyundai is how close their concepts are to the actual production vehicles. They don't water them down as much as other companies do. For example, the Ionic 5 EV looks shockingly close to the concept. Hope they keep this trend for future vehicles..
First, with KIA EV6 GT and now THIS!!!! Damn, Hyundai! You're making my car list even longer when I'm ready to buy.

I now consider Genesis design team the global leader. I don't know how well they drive. But they sure look the best.
They drive amazing, luxurious feeling all along and are rock solid (Google Tiger Woods car accident and how his Genesis saved his life)
G80 is said to drive better (not faster) than the likes of M3 and the 5 series.

Agreed. I just can’t get along with most of the new designs by BMW or Mercedes for example, but genesis is absolutely killing it right now.

Genesis' new line is the best looking in the world imo, starting from the G70 to the gorgeous GV80! Can't wait for the GV90, my GOOOD!
@Jonghun G70 is definitely ugly. The only ugly car in the Genesis lineup. Current G70 is just a sloppy facelift from the old G70 that didn't have any of the attributes the rest of the family shares but a real redesign will probably come sometime soon.

@@Mazen_2016 that they'll turn into a reality. It wont be exactly like this because they have to meet certain regulations but im sure this is a car they'll push to production. I highly doubt they'd go through all the trouble and spend all that money on marketing for something they have no plan on bringing to life

the team that works for genesis is elite level (former lamborghini, audi, bentley and bmw leaders)
It's kind of crazy to me that Hyundai/Kia/Genesis are building vehicles that are actually MORE ATTRACTIVE than many Benz/BMW/Audis... Never would have predicted this a decade ago..
We know it will be an EV but that long hood, short rear plus supercharged V8 Hyundai previewed years ago, it'll be crazy but it sure will be fun!
GORGEOUS vehicle. Kind of get Aston Martin Lagonda vibes...but clearly Hyundai has carved out their own distinctive style that's unmistakable.
Im so excited for the vehicle's futuristic designs in the future to come!
I have a 2018 Genesis G80 sport, I love the car! Aggressive looks, good handling, and good power.
I was a little disappointed with the new G80 I thought it went for more luxury and the design was confused. It lost the sporty stance.
The X concept brings back that sleek sporty yet luxurious look. I want to drive it!!
I compared the Genesis to the E series, Audi, and it met or exceeded my expectations. I wanted it in a convertible to compete against the E series.
Their G70 is the sport version. The G80 is more luxury/sport crossover and the G90 is straight up luxury.
@@adamwright6433 in 2018 they didn’t have the G70, the G80sport was their sport model with the same engine 3.3 twin turbo. G80 also had the 3.6L and 5.0.
G70 competes with the 3 series BMW.

@@OlJackBurton Don’t know for sure, though Genesis has been producing cars like the GV80 that looks better than the concept. They released a press video today of this car and it looks awesome.

When I first saw the exterior, the huge front hood exterior had me thinking Dodge Challenger, but the design was definitely more sleeker and sexier. This is the type of car you drive at night in the city to get looks whether it be going to the club or going home after working late.
Hell yeah definitely not a muscle car proportions.
I would love the idea of owning such a beautiful car and also having the benefit of it being reliable, especially in comparison with most German marques, which have been afforded an unfair reputation for reliability and build quality. It’s as if they are engineered to suffer mechanical failure as soon as they are no longer under warranty. I will never spend excessive money on the strength of a vehicle badge. Lexus, and now Genesis will be my first consideration, especially, as they offer so much more value and peace of mind motoring in second hand guise.
A luxury two door from Genesis would be perfect! Something similar to the old Cadillac Eldorado . I'd buy it in a heartbeat!
