Heyo Farm man, we have met on the ladder :). I have this build im using, same as yours but abit more tight I believe. I manage to get to age II and place a TC while building knights right away at 5:00 (in your build 2nd TC only starts building at 5:30). It goes like this: 7 to sheep 1 builds house asap and goes to gold another 1 to gold -- Summary: 2 on gold 7 on sheep -- 1 to Wood 1 to Sheep 1 to Wood -- Summary: 2 on gold 8 on sheep, 2 on Wood -- 2 to Stone 1 to build School of Cavalry Move 1 gold villager from gold to wood Move 2 Sheep Villagers to wood -- Summary: 1 on gold 6 on sheep, 5 on Wood, 2 on Stone, 1 SOC -- Move 1 from sheep to stone Next 1 to Stone Next 1 to Wood Next 3 help build SOC Next 1 to gold (Reach Age II by now) -- Summary: 2 on gold 5 on sheep, 6 on Wood, 4 on Stone, 4 SOC -- Place a TC and build a royal knight Move half(2) stone villagers to build 2nd TC Move half(2) stone villagers back to sheep Move all SOC(4) villagers to gold Move 4 wood villagers back to sheep -- Summary: 6 on gold 11 on sheep, 2 on Wood, 2 building 2nd TC -- Keep sending the next vils to food until 2nd TC is up! 16 on food should be enough for your production + slow income. The rest is up to you.
@@FarmManOfficial Thanks! Forgot to add: 4 of the wood villagers need to move back to sheep as soon as you hit Age II (should have exactly 400 wood by then). Updated it now. Without it, you can not keep constant production with 2 tcs and knights. I recommend sending the next villagers after the build to food as well, since 11 on food will not sustain you after 2nd tc is up for too long (you will have a short surplus time to use when its up) Its a tight build, takes some practice... good luck :)
@@FarmManOfficial I know its not great for 1v1 scenarios except maybe on certain maps. But I usually play big games 3v3 or 4v4 and I love playing for early economy. Is 3 tc boom worth going and is there a best way to do it? I would normally get 3rd tc starting building around 8 mins.

So I'm planning to maybe make a video on general concepts and considerations for after feudal age! - it will be general though because as with all RTS, your decisions are always dependent on the situation of that particular game. Hi there! Great to hear from you and thanks for your message! Ahh so yes when going 2TC you'll find sometimes you'll need to defend at the beginning. The easiest ways to do it is: 1) To train some counter units against the French this will most likely the spearman. Bear in mind that this will cost quite a bit of wood (150 wood for barracks), so you'll want to make sure you have extra villagers on wood. You'll want to keep at least 2-3 spearman guarding each key resource if you know your opponent is opening with knights 2) You may also wish to build outposts around key resources 3) if you have one side of your base which can be walled off easily (i.e. a small wall which won't cost too much wood) then take advantage of that meaning you can then spread your defensive units / outposts more on the other side. I hope to make a video on this topic, just wanted to let your know my thoughts until I get to make a video though :) Hope it helps!

Great question! So I actually do get forestry in the English 2TC build order but not in the french one. The reason why is forestry seems like a really underwhelming upgrade. I'd rather spend that gold to go towards a blacksmith upgrade / help constant production of knights / double broadaxe first. Will eventually get forestry though On the English build however you generally need less gold (as not producing gold units) and forestry can be squeezed in the build fairly efficiently.

Ya, I do have a man at arms + rams Rush for HRE. But I will explore HRE a bit more. I feel like I've covered the French and English pretty well for now, so I think the next civilisations I will cover a bit more will be: Abbasid HRE RUS

Hi there! It probably would affect things quite a lot tbh. Because if you see at 2:30 there is only surplus of 11 food and zero gold, so going later to gold will delay your feudal age uptime and delay your second town centre placement (and it's already quite risky going straight 2nd town centre without army in 1v1s tbh)
Its still definitely viable, however I would recommend this build order atm:, ua-cam.com/video/SO4wWmqtxbA/v-deo.html with feudal aggression to start, but move the villagers who finish building the school of cavalry to go to stone and new villagers to wood to eventually build a second TC. the second TC is a bit delayed compared to this older build order video but that more the type of play that happens with the french atm. Tried it on my recent 1v1 with a mongol player, and my 3 early knights just rekt their 4 early horsemen, then I just plop an outpost next to their goldmine, trained archers and early ram their stable and TC 🤣👍

He focused on woods and food early on, and leave gold for until he placed enough outposts with spearmen in it. His strat absolutely rekt me, as he prey on key resources the whole map. So I did a rush with 6 knights and 9 archers + 3 rams but he managed to get away with packing up. The result is my resources fall, and he amassed armies on me.
Hey there! for the french 2 TC boom I prioritise wheelbarrow, double broadaxe, blacksmith upgrades and forestry last (because it seems like a very underwhelming upgrade compared to the rest - although it is cheaper)

It allows user to produce more villagers to get more resources. Goal: Use the extra resources to create more armies and push the opponent.
Sorry for the very late response! But essentially what Clifford has said! More workers means more resources to spend on army and upgrades!

Should be able to, I suspect might just need to add one extra villager on food to get up to feudal age at a similar time
