The toughness grace period is what happens after you get your toughness broken. In the normal game it reduces the damage of all ranged attacks you take for like a couple seconds after your toughness drops to 0. Basically gives you time to react to getting shot at before getting your health shredded. Havoc seems like its gonna be brutal
"Toughness grace period" is when your toughness is broken you have 1 second of 90% reduced damage. It is designed so that if you're getting melted by ranged enemies it gives you a second to realize you're taking a lot of damage and dodge into cover. That modifier removes that 1 second lol
I have roughly 500 hours in the game and seeing an extra difficulty to unlock stuff is a blessing for me. I still love to just hop into the game, take down thousands of heretics at a time, occasionally pull out the British Shank build for my Vet if i feel silly that day. I play almost exclusively Vet and I have unlocked all the penances for him, so getting that additional layer of unlocks is gonna be so much fun and more challenge to prove myself as I already do only Auric levels except for Lights Out - screw that mode.
I used to watch your video back in 2018 and 2019 when I was playing a lot of for honor, and I'm glad our paths have crossed again now we're both playing darktide
@@Oznerol1234 would heavily advise watching Tanner Lindberg if you want genuinely helpful information and not UA-cam slop half of the content creators for it pump out.
PS5 players will probably have the best Experience with Darktide from jump since they didnt have to wait for 2 years for the game to be reworked and loaded with content and even get the Dedicated Endgame mode from day 1 as well.
There's no endgame in these games... You just play because you love gameplay. Once you hit level 30 with a character and got best weapons, which would take about 10-15 hours depending on your skill, the game will be static. For hundreds of hours, nothing going to change. Your 20th hour and 200th hour will be same. That being said, due to nature of the game, each and every mission is also different; different people, different spawns, different shenanigans... That's why you play these games for thousand of hours.
@@Kara_PabucThey’re literally releasing a new Gamemode on Tuesday with that the Developers themselves and everyone in the Community is referring to as an Endgame game mode to throw your best maxed out Builds at, I think that constitutes as an Endgame.

These games, and honestly like 90% of PVE games have no real end game, because no matter what they add, eventually you will complete it all, so unless you enjoy the core gameplay and that is enough to keep you coming back without an actual objective, there is no real endgame.
To hell with that game mode dawg, I'm tired of coming across mfs blaming me for trying to keep them alive through my tough ass missions..not even somebody "Havoc Forged" or even a "True Survivor" can make it to the end with me 💯 I wish someone would call me a liar in these comments
I would love to see thek inteduce more nurgle daemons as the story implicates them opening a rift, maybe new speicals like.plague bearers or a new flying boss like a plague drone or even some groups of nurglings would be fun, they mentioned vets getting a new weapon soon im hoping its something cool like a hot-shot lasgun or maybe plasma pistol or a meltagun would be so fun too they have so many options we can eventually get

Space Marine 2 is decent and shook things up but it's gameplay depth is far more shallow than the -Tide games. SM2 is *possibly* better if you're a super casual player while -Tide games have more depth to get invested into. Biggest thing is its a first person game focused in melee. Shooting/ranged is a bigger component of Darktide than Vermintide but they're both melee focused games which can be a hurdle for new people.

With Unlocked and Loaded patch, we can now have god-rolled weapons and we can change each and every property of the weapons... Thus, they're adding this new modifiers so players can change their weapons' property to match the modifier. I suppose Mobian 21st enemies use flak armor, so adding bonus flak armor damage to your weapon would be benefial. At least this is what i understand from this. Only issue is that they force players to use part finder feature. Quickplay is not going to work for Havok, which is not good for people like me.
If you look for a casual game to chill Space marines 2 is for you If you look for a challenge with a deeper gameplay and a bit more melee focused, darktide.
@@Skylardon one is a hollow poorly designed turd covered in fake gold paint with a semi decent short campaign, the other is a gem hidden under the couch cushions that people forget about that somehow gets overshadowed by the mainstream aforementioned turd. You can guess which one to buy. It's darktide. Just get darktide
Im almost glad havoc is premade only. Lookinf at some of the teased modifiers makes me fear is a lot of bloat fake scaling (eg more armour morr tanky enemies) thay further restricts the viabke weapon pool. Well probably see Havoc pushinf meta literally boils down to two classes and 4 weapons lmao
@@matthewdeklerk3457 considering how wildly wrong most of the community is about what is actually meta and top of the line, it'll be a good filter to change people's minds I'm hoping. And we'll know if we see a ogryn with feel no pain that he got carried and still has no clue how to build, so itll be a filter in two ways

I 100% GUARANTEE we will see shout vet plasma dueling sword CD relic builds dominate 100% of games. If there were leaderboards we would see literally zealot and vet get 99% of games. most games will probably have no ogryn or psyker at all.
@spazz954 because the game is too easy with 3-4 players, and quickplay randoms are usually a detriment. The part of the community that's stuck with the game the longest do true duo's and solo 3vegs as the main way they play, fatshark knows this, and they know how little sticking together actually does mechanically thanks to the slot system, so why tf they haven't given an official option to turn off all players and bots yet nobody knows

Not as immersive in movement as darktide, but the melee is better imo! and so is the banter between your companions.
I tried vermintide after darktide and the melee by far seems the weakest part of the game. Its weightless compared to what darktide has
