Yeah okay then after getting beat up enough and tinkering around with the build you eventually recreate the meta build. Congrats you won, but also lost.
SGA For New Players: If you are running Ogryn Shield, you should know, taunting makes most ranged enemies put down their ranged weapons and engage you in melee. Pushes. Blocking. Ability. If their head turns red they want you dead. Doesn't work on Gunners, though. They just keep shootin'. But they'll shoot at you, and not the Zealot running at them with a greatsword. So. You know.
Great builds! I am one of the few Martyrdom fans, but I couldn't make it work in Havoc, I will definitely be taking some notes from your build - going for the dodge talents. I ended up doing crit. build for the ability cooldown, yellow toughness is a godsend right now.
One thing that "off meta" builds taught me was the challenge of skill, building skills, and even meta builds I have seen require quite some skill as well. I acknowledge I have some skill issues, even with my experience of using DS4, it was quite risky when attempting to hit those crit weak spots. This is especially when you have multiple Crushers proc their overhead animation, my first reaction is to dodge, when I had the opportunity to aptly thrust for the kill, then dodge. For Zealot I still love using Heavy Eviscerator, especially when I get tired of using combat blade or DS4, and need to enjoy the moment I rip through the enemies lol. For Veteran I am wanting to adopt one of the builds to work with and see how well I do with them. For Ogryn, I have implemented one of the builds you have featured on here to see how well I can build up to using in Havocs. After seeing JSAT and their friends do the Havoc 40 all Ogryns video, I was able to take note of the strategies they implemented in order to handle the most difficult spots. Psyker is one that I always seem to be attempting to find better means to use outside of my two favorite Gun Psyker builds. The main one being Scriers Gaze + Disrupt Destiny with Recon Lasgun and using Force Greatsword with it has been amazing. The second one I love is Warp Siphon/Warp Battery + Bubble Shield with Bolt Pistol and DS4 (I still want to find what build of Force Greatsword does better, maybe by following the build i seen in this video). Yet again, since I have had struggles with some Psyker Builds outside of those, I am wanting to implement of the builds in this video to see how well I work with them. Thank you for the compiled video Reg!
Dude I'm SO happy right now. I've been tinkering around with a Havoc build for the Big Sword yesterday and I came up with basically the same ideas. First thought ok, can i really bring this "off meta" idea (nobody seems to run inexorable judgement) to Havoc 30+, but now I feel vindicated and can't wait to give it a try tonight.
how it feels to see my exact minus 1 talent difference (scourge over blood redemption because of chastise 100% crit) build I've ran since I came up with it last year in the video:
@@Reginald-sc9tk Dude, don't try, after Accatran on Veteran and damage ult instead of book on Zealot no one will take you seriously)))) I use such builds in normal mode, but for Havoc it's unplayable and you won't be taken into the team if the host has a mod to check your gear. And as you said “Lowskills wouldn't get it” applies exactly to your guide.
@@Reginald-sc9tk I will not even look at it, on Havok take Zealot strictly with Book because Havok is passed completely on superstrength, you will not be taken in the team, you will occupy the slot of someone who could give the team more than you, with this ulta play casual modes, there he is good.
Run and gun on the kickback is broken, I just tested it today. It reduces the size of your crosshair, but I could not measure any actual reduction in spread. I would love if you could test this out and confirm (or deny).
For vet, I really enjoy boltgun for support focus on quickly sniping off any gunners in the distance, gives you something more significant to do than being just a shouter. It needs no +Weak Spot Damage, so you can take the Ranged Suppression Immunity next to it instead and the free las crit ammo is useless so you can add the important Revive Knocked Down point for your shout (great for public lobbies).
I notice you favour the karsolas over the branx, despite the branx's easy to access overhead heavies and very easy to utilise push shoves into heavy light wide swing attack spam. Is this just because of the speed of the weapon and limited movement while using it or something else?
Karsolas and Branx are pretty much just inverses of one another, swapping their easy heavies and shove into next attack around for killing hordes and heavies. It makes more sense to go with Karsolas since hordes are always more abundant than big heavies per game, so less time spent culling the hoard while doing it safer to boot and an somewhat competitive ttk on groups of heavies equals you alot of time saved and to be subsequently spent lobbin' rocks an' bull-ets at dem pesky shoottahs.
@@emii-olii3596Interesting, conversely, I find the targets for my overhead heavies to be more of a threat and thus want easier access to them. I also like the fact that I can block push into a group of rangers, stagger them, then taunt them with the block push and immediately go into a heavy swing combo and take them all out. I do find the moveset on the branx more intuitive too and personally find the set up for overhead heavies with the special action on the 2 other pickaxes a bit annoying. Each to their own I suppose.
wanted to say you explain everything very well and easy to understand. Want to try your zealot build (probably not havoc as i find it clunky to navigate). I ran a similar one with blazing piety/judgement, but you made good arguments for martyrdom. (ill miss the cd on crit node though..)
I run thammer on zealot all this time, have been doing very well on Havoc 35-40. The thing if, you gotta build for Shock&Awe, that blessing helps with the giga-hitmass enemies have on Havoc 40, I was able to cleave through hordes of Moebian 21st with ease, not to mention the high stagger of thammer, knocking crushers/maulers/ragers around like nothing. It also helps greatly with bosses, I'd say much more than other melees.
@@drunkpandalol3718 i'm still messing around with build, and the aura is different depending on the team loadouts. But I've been running Fury of the Faithful and fire grenade path, and mostly Benediction. I've been using Inexorable Judgement keystone all this time, but I'm thinking of giving Martyrdom next time. I run both the 50% weakspot impact and 30% impact nodes, but was running just the 30% impact one for quite some time.
I have run the thammer into high havoc, not 40 yet, but shock&awe is really kind of a dumpster blessing. Headtaker is much better and thrust is required to make the hammer worth it even. This is due to the low cleave damage cap on the thammers. It cannot hit more than like 3-4 guys for any appreciable damage no matter how many you stagger.
@@Reginald-sc9tk Are you sure? Cuz I was cleaving through big hordes of Moebian 21st WITH EASE with Shock&awe, it was NOT only 3-4 guys, while when I was using Headtaker, I was NOTICEABLY getting stopped very frequently, and I was using Headtaker for several games before switching to Headtaker. Granted, it has the best effect against Infected Moebian 21st. Cleave Damage is honestly not that big of a deal to me, you'll kill them eventually, CC is the name of the game mostly. And tbh, it's not that bad from my experience.
Got another question for you! I noticed your zealot build doesn't have chorus so I assume you think it's convenient (or not), but not entirely necessary? Feels like there's a lot of pressure to have chorus as a zealot in high level Havoc play.
I'm increasingly of the opinion that chorus is not necessarily the best choice. My opinion may be colored by the relative skill level of the people I play with but I do think you're actually sacrificing a lot for it. A large number of my wins had no chorus zealot. I'm usually the "anti-meta" guy but I might be redefining the meta right now
It's been bugged since the psyker rework but it's currently considered a -1 talent tax to reach warp siphon, the other node significantly hurts psykers toughness generation and makes you far, far weaker and offers no benefit worth speaking of.
Real question about Vet, why do people run Shredders over Kraks? Especially when running a Recon Las or a Vraks Infantry autogun, it patches the whole in you capabilities by giving you a tool to deal with Crushers and Bulwarks other than your melee. Are Shredders just that much better or are Kraks viable?
Kraks are _fine_ but DS4 can do their job just as well if you're melee competent which you should be at 40. But dumping 3 shredders will usually stagger an entire horde of crushers and get most of them close to, if not out right, dead. Especially if someone else is dumping any brittleness effects to buff bleed stacks. So shredders have: Infinite bleed application through mass within radius, knockdown, good enough damage.
I think I've seen videos that say they prefer cranial grounding in addition to rampage as a Relic Blade blessing, but do you feel like Wrath is a must even on RB? Thanks!
Dueling sword seems to handle that specific problem pretty well. You can, obviously, just pick it up if you prefer. My builds are guides and recommendations meant to orient a player. But at H40 you have to design a build you like.
What are your thoughts on Riposte versus Unstable Power on the Force Greatsword? I'm wondering if Riposte wouldn't generally give higher damage output and be more reliable for Havoc as the enemy density is really high so it seems to me that Riposte would likely be up all the time on use more or less. I guess the question is whether in practice 20% higher crit is going to outperform 20% strength on the weapon.
My experience is that with this build specifically riposte resulted in inferior performance on the whole. Higher strength from unstable power increases cleave and damage which improves safety alongside the kill rate.
@@Reginald-sc9tk I've always been a little confused as to the actual effects of Strength and Power on weapons. That Strength adds to cleave makes sense, and does seem like a great thing to have in Havoc. Thanks for the answer!
Hey Reginald, What made you change your recommendation for the psyker Force great sword perk from Carapace to Flak Armor from your previous video about the melee weapon?
Its a havoc specific change. When I make a weapon tutorial I make my weapon recommendation on what is best for that weapon. But when I make a build tutorial I need to look at what's best for the build and its context. I don't need carapace on my sword, I use voidblast to kill most of the crushers. What I do need is to chop through mobian 21st modifier flak groaners and general chaff better to build essence stacks faster.
Can i swap out the voidstrike staff for the fire one? I like it more, also what talents should i swap out for if i plan on running it? Id hope nothing but asking just in case...i love the greatsword though.
your vet build is a bit exotic, for the other vets out there, just stick to your normal build and go with havoc curios, 2x17 th,1x3 stam, 60% gunner resist, 12% cdr, and +15% thougness or hp, duelling sword with rampage and uncanny, bolter with puncture and pinning fire for boss pounding
Reginald's build is completely fine, your recommendations are more exotic tho there is no 60% gunner resist, resist rolls heavily diminish after each one till the final one is a measly 4% gunner res, two is the max you ever run and even then it's barely perceptible and you should be learning how to slide to safety or towards enemies to avoid gunfire so you can free up the roll for more useful things for everything you do like stamina regeneration. rampage in a weapon with very minimal cleave and awkward horde clearing patterns is extremely questionable, agile, thrust, riposte and uncanny interchangably are what you should be running all are great and rampage is reserved for things like the new relic blades or weapons with strong horizontal cleave to keep it up. boltor is extremely weird choice if we're talking pure efficiency, it works, its good, its nowhere remotely as good as the plasmagun for a shout build and requires multiple supporting talents to overcome its weaknesses in the form of slow draw times and painful reload times with small magazine sizes, something the plasma needs not worry about. source: h40 day 1 in pugs, true survivor, multiple h40 clears on every class except ogryn (i hate it) under my belt at this point with extensive testing on what is working and what's falling behind.
@@Peppermintnull i clear my 40s with shriek psyker with infernus for the damage potential, vets role in my ideal comp is to deal with out of range or side shooters, and since ranged damage looses efficacy against those infested armored gunners at least bolter manages to pin them down and silence those gunners walls properly provide shout spam, and to help with bosses that can't be avoided due to map design and situations, plasma gun is still good i didn't mention it just because i personally never use it, i've got 2500 hours on bolter and like 3 on plasma gun, although when dealing with extreme situations bolter is king, its the only weapon in darktide that can just create you enough space and damage to not fail when facing slugs from the face and buffed ogryn hordes in certain maps and corridors like chasm logistratum i never ever ever ever ever wished i had a plasma gun over my bolter, but it has been the case the other way around the fiew times i tried it there are at least 2 situations where vets with PG become useless where bolter wins the day, and that's enough for me to never change my mind about the subject about duelling sword i'd rather have rampage to help me clearing hordes on a weapon that as you say is bad for clearing hordes, it won't shine but it helps doing the job especially when most people go for kraks that are completely useless in my pov, rampage would help those much more than the more sweatiest blessings oh and if i get only 4% gunner resist on my last curio that doesn't bother me, it stacks with vets iron will and all his other thougness resistence abilities, there might be caps but every little helps when you are getting shot and your yellow thougness gets chunked away
@@kommissarantilus3742 I tend not to speak with such insane confience when we're talking a 15 round gun to a mode where enemies can roll 80% reduced ranged damage and naturally have more health but hey that's just me, or talk about it like it melts bosses which might be true for aurics, where bosses don't have 120k health AND can be pusblessed which is an extremely common modifier nor does it have infinite cleave like the plasma. And please do your own testing before talking about stuff like rampage specially when it reaches no new breakpoint on anything and makes singular elites without fodder to proc it off harder to deal with than just taking thrust or uncanny.
@@Peppermintnull Reg is proposing a weapon specialist build with recon lasgun for god sake, if that's not exotic, i don't want people watching this video and copying his build brainlessly and believe they will have a good time on havoc 40 i didn't say you can delete bosses, i said *help* with bosses when facing them from the face in bad situations, but read it as you like my ds recommendations are rampage and uncanny, don't pretend i didn't told people to go for uncanny Thrust is good, but not for vet, i use Thrust-Uncanny on my psyker because with flamer hordes are a non issue, its the strongest build in the game right now but getting thrust on vet, and having no horde clears, just set you up for having a bad time unless your team carries you every time oh and about Agile, might sound good on paper but when do you even need more dodge refreshs on a damned dueling sword he even went ''Always Prepared'' the weapon specialist mod, on a recon lasgun, my take is that that build was meant for plasma guns, but still thats old stuff, you don't go down that path anymore when building for you PG He skipped on Determined aswell for god sake, he didn't get suppression immunity on high level Havocs for crying out loud oh and he went for born leader and demo team, of course.... and he didn't even went Onslaught for his recon lasgun (despite going down the melee tree), the more i look at his build the more i cringe and you told to me his build was fine?, you trolling dude shooting twice or thrice to kill an enemy with bolter is not the end of the world, you are not shooting melted gold like with plasma gun, if you full auto into a pile of gunners it silences them forever even if you don't kill any of them
@@kommissarantilus3742 And you're proposing a worse alternative and giving people misinfo like curio resists, If you're going to speak about someone giving out what you deem bad advice or builds then you need to hold yourself accountable to the same standard and double/triple factcheck it instead of feelscrafty nonsence like "well boltgun FEELS better"
I request another video like this, one for each class, that just goes through all viable builds for the current version of the game for flavor. Clay and most of Tanner's builds are out dated
Can us poor console players get a solid build list for higher difficulties lol. Not sure if it’s a controller limitation but man some of the controls and loops are incredibly hard to do on console controls. Like granades/knives/rocks are hard to do quickly cause you have to do down arrow to open it which is difficult when trying to also dodge, move/strafe/slide, and keep your head in a swivel.
What do you think of Ogryn's Feel no Pain? When playing with randoms, it’s hard to rely on their buffs, and it made my life easier. And I may have met very good random players at level 40, but I won more often than I lost. I don't really feel the loss in horde damage with the shield. Am I missing something?
What a terrible, terrible time to be a controller player. Because the default blitz button on controller is down dpad. You can change schemes but not edit individual binds. That means that I will almost never use knives. Still good builds. My general experience with Havoc (What little I have) tells me that the best weapons for it tend to be weapons that do well with weakspot nodes for stagger and damage, meaning the sword is fantastic for it.
did 35-40 with LFG no comms with true survivor each run except 40, i used ogryn. the taunt block is good because u can just hold the block special when running at 20 shooters and after one bullet, they all start to melee (certain melee activation ranges depend on enemy). the 250% stagger on push is not to be slept on, it can knock down a pack of ragers and maulers on their asses. it is literally the eaasiest, most free win build. most of the losses are from a few spread out gunners, but this kind of nullifies it..and the big slow new gun will destroy the spread out guys anyway super fast
Better group it is a psyker smite fire shield . Zelot coruption aura. book . Bleed critical build and bolter vs boses. Sniper for ammo dd build( not this shit build in video) and more one melee dd zelot or ogryn . Ice mup 35+ top 1 hurd map in the game for test it( top dd build for zelot it is axe. Not long swoard)
psyker should really only run inferno staff for havoc 40. Nothing else comes close to wave dps. as ogryn you really need both +25 toughness nodes. No exceptions. Taunt is 1000% more useful than bull rush, never take bull rush. Towering presence and steady grip on the top right are clearly wasted points and I think you have them in there by accident. Unstoppable on the bottom is dubious to take over just more toughness nodes. If you're solo ogryn, always go box of grenades no exceptions. Those two nodes below it are extremely important, damage for obv reasons but that stagger bonus is required for rager, mauler, crusher stun. Without it you're not staggering important enemies and you've thrown away most of your class value. Nukes are great, but sadly cuts your team value down in half. If you already have a box ogryn, rock is good for it's utility, but more than 1 ogryn requires straight up perfect team positioning at hav 40 which is very annoying and slow to do. you should also run blazing piety no matter what ability you go with zealot. regardless of melee weapon, regardless of race, regardless of species. You need to max crit chance, dodge buffs, and tdr which your z builds honestly don't really seem to do.
Could you please change the title of this video to "Builds you can use to clear Havoc 40 if you are close to my skill"? The last thing Group Finder random teams need is the guy with 30% of your ability in this game bringing Chainsword Vet, Martyrdom Zealot, or an Ogryn into Havoc 35. Players with average skill need to lean on overpowered builds as a crutch if they are to successfully clear 40, or even the mid-to-high 30's.
I dont think shitters can crutch even on gigameta builds. I think that high havoc is too hard for that. But I will do a video on evil meta builds so people can understand the game better.

Thats definitely how I feel. A strong but off meta build is often a more fun way to play even havoc.
Thanks. Been struggling between having enough shield and having enough damage to clear havoc levels.
Thank you Reginald.
Great guide to low efficiency on Havoc, and to not getting picked for a team because of a bad build :)
Lowskills wouldn't get it.

Run and gun on the kickback is broken, I just tested it today. It reduces the size of your crosshair, but I could not measure any actual reduction in spread. I would love if you could test this out and confirm (or deny).
Sorry I can't test those kinds of small things too often. You may wish to report it to FS bugs directly
@Reginald-sc9tk good idea
The speed of the karsolas is its major advantage while its breakpoints are close enough not to matter.
@@Reginald-sc9tk That makes sense. I think this is the main draw back for me using the branx. You are just so darn slow.

Say, what's your opinion on stealth zealot for H40?
I haven't tried it!
Maybe I'll try it tomorrow on stream if the 4gryn cancels
I am at the havoc 20s though but still, this is very useful!
Except for the chorus build, are all these good in regular aurics as well?
These should be good in regular aurics

When you block your combo resets to its default state allowing you to skip parts of the attack chain that might favor certain attacks.

@Reginald-sc9tk been trying to find a sorta melee Psyker build with the new sword. Perfect siting
What is your skill tree loadout?
@@drunkpandalol3718 i'm still messing around with build, and the aura is different depending on the team loadouts. But I've been running Fury of the Faithful and fire grenade path, and mostly Benediction. I've been using Inexorable Judgement keystone all this time, but I'm thinking of giving Martyrdom next time. I run both the 50% weakspot impact and 30% impact nodes, but was running just the 30% impact one for quite some time.
@sivel7493 ok nice. Thanks. I've been trying to make stealth hammer work but can't figure out the best path to take without taking loner.
Just to make sure, is the dump stat for the Voidblast staff Quell being at 60 ?
Yes. I could maybe see changing that for havoc but its the conventional wisdom.
I'm usually the "anti-meta" guy but I might be redefining the meta right now
@Reginald penetration of the soul is still currently bugged and doesn't apply the rending stacks during damage calculation.
Have you reported the issue to FS on the forums?
It's been bugged since the psyker rework but it's currently considered a -1 talent tax to reach warp siphon, the other node significantly hurts psykers toughness generation and makes you far, far weaker and offers no benefit worth speaking of.
@@Reginald-sc9tkit's already been reported. It is also noted as bugged in the enhanced descriptions mod, I wouldn't have known otherwise.
So shredders have:
Infinite bleed application through mass within radius, knockdown, good enough damage.

why take recon lasgun and not take onslaught perk?
You can but you could just stab crushers with dueling sword.
What is a good build if your faith is wavering?
Build Church build
@@Drongk-Ogryn Build church? Thankyou father
Just curious on the Vet why do you not grab the Onslaught talent?
Dueling sword seems to handle that specific problem pretty well. You can, obviously, just pick it up if you prefer. My builds are guides and recommendations meant to orient a player. But at H40 you have to design a build you like.
I still hate the feel of using throwing knives though x.x
Why must all the top crit be gated by the infernal thing.
Plasma gun build when? 👀
Literally just the same as the build I posted but take off shocktrooper and pick up whatever you like and use plasma.
Btw, is your Ogryn pickaxe build missing a point? I counted 29, twice.
build online says 30/30
@@Reginald-sc9tk Weird. I made the same build in game, had a point left over so I just put it in what I thought was useful.
what would you change in the psyker build for a duelling sword version?
Mostly for this build nothing. You're just doing less melee under those conditions and mostly using melee defensively instead.
What I do need is to chop through mobian 21st modifier flak groaners and general chaff better to build essence stacks faster.
would any of these builds be good for the just a flesh wound penance
Yea probably
Can i swap out the voidstrike staff for the fire one? I like it more, also what talents should i swap out for if i plan on running it? Id hope nothing but asking just in case...i love the greatsword though.
This build does work for inferno but I dunno if its better or worse than the classic meta inferno build. It has upsides for shield spam.

Also would it be possible to bring the great sword with the flame thrower or no?
Dueling sword mark 4. Yea you can do GS and Flamer.
your vet build is a bit exotic, for the other vets out there, just stick to your normal build and go with havoc curios, 2x17 th,1x3 stam, 60% gunner resist, 12% cdr, and +15% thougness or hp, duelling sword with rampage and uncanny, bolter with puncture and pinning fire for boss pounding
Reginald's build is completely fine, your recommendations are more exotic tho
there is no 60% gunner resist, resist rolls heavily diminish after each one till the final one is a measly 4% gunner res, two is the max you ever run and even then it's barely perceptible and you should be learning how to slide to safety or towards enemies to avoid gunfire so you can free up the roll for more useful things for everything you do like stamina regeneration.
rampage in a weapon with very minimal cleave and awkward horde clearing patterns is extremely questionable, agile, thrust, riposte and uncanny interchangably are what you should be running all are great and rampage is reserved for things like the new relic blades or weapons with strong horizontal cleave to keep it up.
boltor is extremely weird choice if we're talking pure efficiency, it works, its good, its nowhere remotely as good as the plasmagun for a shout build and requires multiple supporting talents to overcome its weaknesses in the form of slow draw times and painful reload times with small magazine sizes, something the plasma needs not worry about.
source: h40 day 1 in pugs, true survivor, multiple h40 clears on every class except ogryn (i hate it) under my belt at this point with extensive testing on what is working and what's falling behind.
@@Peppermintnull i clear my 40s with shriek psyker with infernus for the damage potential, vets role in my ideal comp is to deal with out of range or side shooters, and since ranged damage looses efficacy against those infested armored gunners at least bolter manages to pin them down and silence those gunners walls properly
provide shout spam, and to help with bosses that can't be avoided due to map design and situations,
plasma gun is still good i didn't mention it just because i personally never use it, i've got 2500 hours on bolter and like 3 on plasma gun, although when dealing with extreme situations bolter is king, its the only weapon in darktide that can just create you enough space and damage to not fail when facing slugs from the face and buffed ogryn hordes in certain maps and corridors like chasm logistratum
i never ever ever ever ever wished i had a plasma gun over my bolter, but it has been the case the other way around the fiew times i tried it
there are at least 2 situations where vets with PG become useless where bolter wins the day, and that's enough for me to never change my mind about the subject
about duelling sword i'd rather have rampage to help me clearing hordes on a weapon that as you say is bad for clearing hordes, it won't shine but it helps doing the job
especially when most people go for kraks that are completely useless in my pov, rampage would help those much more than the more sweatiest blessings
oh and if i get only 4% gunner resist on my last curio that doesn't bother me, it stacks with vets iron will and all his other thougness resistence abilities, there might be caps but every little helps when you are getting shot and your yellow thougness gets chunked away
@@Peppermintnull Reg is proposing a weapon specialist build with recon lasgun for god sake, if that's not exotic, i don't want people watching this video and copying his build brainlessly and believe they will have a good time on havoc 40
i didn't say you can delete bosses, i said *help* with bosses when facing them from the face in bad situations, but read it as you like
my ds recommendations are rampage and uncanny, don't pretend i didn't told people to go for uncanny
Thrust is good, but not for vet, i use Thrust-Uncanny on my psyker because with flamer hordes are a non issue, its the strongest build in the game right now
but getting thrust on vet, and having no horde clears, just set you up for having a bad time unless your team carries you every time
oh and about Agile, might sound good on paper but when do you even need more dodge refreshs on a damned dueling sword
he even went ''Always Prepared'' the weapon specialist mod, on a recon lasgun, my take is that that build was meant for plasma guns, but still thats old stuff, you don't go down that path anymore when building for you PG
He skipped on Determined aswell for god sake, he didn't get suppression immunity on high level Havocs for crying out loud
oh and he went for born leader and demo team, of course....
and he didn't even went Onslaught for his recon lasgun (despite going down the melee tree), the more i look at his build the more i cringe
and you told to me his build was fine?, you trolling dude
shooting twice or thrice to kill an enemy with bolter is not the end of the world, you are not shooting melted gold like with plasma gun, if you full auto into a pile of gunners it silences them forever even if you don't kill any of them
@@kommissarantilus3742 And you're proposing a worse alternative and giving people misinfo like curio resists, If you're going to speak about someone giving out what you deem bad advice or builds then you need to hold yourself accountable to the same standard and double/triple factcheck it instead of feelscrafty nonsence like "well boltgun FEELS better"

For zealot you can look at my thunder hammer build and take either blazing or inexorable instead of martyrdom and likely do well

Facts
What a terrible, terrible time to be a controller player.
Because the default blitz button on controller is down dpad. You can change schemes but not edit individual binds. That means that I will almost never use knives.
Still good builds. My general experience with Havoc (What little I have) tells me that the best weapons for it tend to be weapons that do well with weakspot nodes for stagger and damage, meaning the sword is fantastic for it.
Dodge toughness is 50% of the reason for going right tree top.
Why play meta.... when you can be' a disposable unit?*music drops*
did 35-40 with LFG no comms with true survivor each run except 40, i used ogryn. the taunt block is good because u can just hold the block special when running at 20 shooters and after one bullet, they all start to melee (certain melee activation ranges depend on enemy). the 250% stagger on push is not to be slept on, it can knock down a pack of ragers and maulers on their asses. it is literally the eaasiest, most free win build. most of the losses are from a few spread out gunners, but this kind of nullifies it..and the big slow new gun will destroy the spread out guys anyway super fast
I don't agree
Yippe
psyker should really only run inferno staff for havoc 40.
I don't agree
Cool n all, but so very not optimal
All of these are fine for havoc 40. You don't need peak minmaxed to beat 40.
@@Reginald-sc9tk Appreciate it.
