I absolutely love my 2 year old Pro 600! I added the Coffee Sensor flow control and it has really added to the capabillities of an already great machine.

It's an awesome machine. We will have some customizations available for the Pro 600 very soon too if you want to sup up your machine.

I notice no mention of pre-infusion on the Pro 600, and wonder why if you could talk about why it might not be included on this machine. Also interested in your opinion of whether flow control kit would make any significant improvement on this machine. Thanks! Enjoyed your review very much.

Great video! I've been considering the heat exchange Pro 500 but what makes me nervous about the heat exchange technology is the temperature inconsistency in the group. Does the Pro 600 nullify that concern knowing that you can set the group boiler PID to the exact temperature of your roast and not have to worry about pulling shots back to back, fighting temp fluctuation in an HX boiler? Of course, knowing that the group is correctly heated with a dedicated boiler? Thank you!

Hi, yes, that is the goal of a dual boiler to give you more precise control over the extraction temperature so fluctuation is greatly reduced.

I have a Rocket and would of bought Profitec but the depth is more on the Profitec. The metal work and the wiring is so much better on Profitec seemless metal bends less weld marks and so much easier to services. If your in the market trust me go with Profitec Rocket is more about the looks. I already have had issues with my Rocket. Also idrinkcoffee has good staff very patient 😊 help me choose the right grinder.

How much time does the machine need to warm up for a Cappuccino?

Interesting that the new 600's don't have knobs for steam/hot water. They switched over to little levers!?

I just recently purchased my Pro 600 with flow control. I am having trouble pulling shots. the espresso does not come out until the 15 second mark on the timer. I feel that this is too long and the extraction is too much. any hints on how to get my shots to strt t around the 5 second mark? I have tried to change the brew pressure but still not working that well.

When dialing in the grinder you want to leave it at the factory settings, then adjust the flow control once you have adjusted your grind between that 5-10 second mark.

Pulling that drip tray out over the lip looks precarious!

As long as it isn't too full of water it isn't too difficult but if it is filled to the brim you need a steady hand not to spill. :)
