Oh, wait. I just remembered something. Rex is a nanite factory. I don't think he can destroy them (why does he have to periodically unload rather than just destroy it) but certainly he can produce more. I very much enjoyed this but do have a couple counter points. One of the big one is that necrons use their own nanites. Not as good as the Rex nanites probably but good enough that it might slow/stop some of his stuff. Then the orks. They way they work is they are specifically design to match the strength of who they are fighting basically. If the imperium becomes transcendent then the orks would rise in strength to match them.
This is such a great video and I love seeing two of my favorite universes interact and hearing people talk about generator Rex brings me so much happiness
"Grim Hope" Is a genre I want more of, or any of, for that matter. The idea that yes, the world is incredibly messed up and Even as bad as the Imperium is it's still the only way that humanity can survive when Certain behaviors can literally conjure actual gods. BUT With the idea that we can make progress, It's just going to take multiple lifetimes. ( Which apparently generator Rex has?) I mean, really, that's the story of humanity, period. Up until fairly recently, with all of our medical and technological advancements, life was a slog. And there wasn't really anything you could do, but slog along or die.
There's no competition here, Rex : exists The mechanicum : they, that's pretty cool , now tell me what to do , What ? No ammoo for the imperium? No need to tell me twice daddy Rex: what ? Mechanicum : what ?
He would either be the new messiah or devil of the mechanicus, if the "nanite plague(?)" from the show came with him would probably be the bigger problem. Also the silver/blue stuff depended on Rex having the omega nanite, without which he still does have formidable abilites.
The issue is he would bring the Nanite Plague with him. Rex has to regularly dump his over produced or corrupted nanites at a vault in the Artic, but that vault would not be constructed already- so when Rex starts to overload he either has to expell those Nanites turning everyone around him into an Evo or he goes berserk and turns into a mechanical kaiju who then gets amnesia once he calms down.
one thing to bear in mind is he can be used as a "conduit" for things if he overextends himself (something he's want to do if he thinks he can save people) we see this happen when he tries to cure One. So he might be able to connect to and talk with a titan, but if he tries to factory reset it he's liable to be used as a mouthpiece by it as whatever he's trying to do finishes up. But yeah, I'd imagine if he makes contact with the Kin of current 40k, they would either ask him to help their ancestor cores or keep him the hell away from it because they would understand the risk that his nanites possess if they are left uncontrolled. Edit: oh and if the nanite monsters pop up the necrons would try to straight up steal him because it can transfigure living creatures into other things. they'd want to see if he'd be able to give them living bodies or failing that cure their low level locked in syndrome that their instinct to breathe gives them at all times.
Though that only happened when it isn't threatening his life or freedom. The Nanites will refuse that if that were to happened, as well force Rex to backtrack despite his morals. So, he'll be fine so long as the connection isn't threatening.
@@KeefeRudyardDelaCruzDigital-Ar thats fair, I was just saying that a titan's machine spirit could and would take a swing at him if he tries anything funny so he's not gonna be commanding a legio of titans that don't want to have that connection. I am so happy that Rex got some attention. He is so underrated. A lot of people just ignore him, even though he is just as good as Ben, in my opinion. If Rex was in 40k and Guillemen found out, he would definitely give Rex as much support as he could. Guillemen can do a lot, but his biggest problem is the church. If the Mechanicus equivalent of Jesus Christ popped up, it may just turn him to religion because now shit can get done. I am worried that the sudden expanse in tech is going to empower Vashtor massively. But if the Eldar are at peace with the humans, and they see whats going on, I can see them going, "Hey! Reign this shit back! You're about to birth another Chaos God!" So they and the Inquisition could be going around making sure nothing goes to far. Meanwhile the Ethereals could be roleplaying Arasaka from 2077, because they still want to be on top. And if it is still cyberpunk, I can see the Chaos gods still getting worship in other ways. So while the galaxy could be better, it can still be grimdark.
9:34 umm actually there is one set of tech where Rex can't hack/replicate. That be anything the orks make due to their warp power. But outside of that you're probably correct.

If not then yeah no there's no way he's ever getting ahold of ork tech due to it literally being random junk orks taped together and then powered it with their imagination I'm not even joking. Quite literally there was a story of a commissar that used his hand to make a figure gun then pointed it at an ork and yelled BANG and blew off the orks head. If this were a series, I imagine Rex would end up in the 40k universe by way of an unstable portal, or some sort of dimensional interference… And I bet 100% if Rex needed an antagonist for season 1… I’d say Illuminor Szeras of the Necron could certainly be a good option. Cold, Calculating, Cruel, Narcissistic, Vain and Vile when it comes to his Biotransference experiments and his stance on lesser organic lifeforms. He’d definitely want to see Rex either eliminated or assimilated because of his abilities. If there’s one thing that could impede the Pariah’s path towards becoming a god, it’s becoming the unwilling ally to a joking, annoying organic.

I think rex even without the God nanites, powers are crazy at the end of the series. With his better understanding and control of his mecha form. Since the alpha nanite he was able to control to make sense enough in the ball
As long as he doesn’t run his mouth too much and kinda pick up on the seriousness of his situation, he would be venerated as a messiah of the Omnissiah.

I think a proper Grim Dark version of both Generator Rex and Ben 10 would be insane and awesome!
( Which apparently generator Rex has?)
I mean, really, that's the story of humanity, period.
Up until fairly recently, with all of our medical and technological advancements, life was a slog. And there wasn't really anything you could do, but slog along or die.
Dude becoming a space marine and reverting back to normal human form, like it's nothing, would scared even krieg troops
😊 so you finally remembered about the master control nanites
There's no competition here, Rex : exists
The mechanicum : they, that's pretty cool , now tell me what to do ,
What ? No ammoo for the imperium?
No need to tell me twice daddy
Rex: what ?
Mechanicum : what ?
I definitely want to see that video idea you suggested towards the end there. That sounds like it could get seriously epic.
I’d love to see a grimdark version of this. Maybe he touches a demon engine and begins to fall to chaos?
if chaos, any of the chaos gods, get their hands in rex's mind, is GG
Rex-'hey what's up' mechanicus-'ohhhh omnissiah im gonna BLESSSSSS'
He would either be the new messiah or devil of the mechanicus, if the "nanite plague(?)" from the show came with him would probably be the bigger problem. Also the silver/blue stuff depended on Rex having the omega nanite, without which he still does have formidable abilites.
Exept he doesn't have that power anymore
The issue is he would bring the Nanite Plague with him. Rex has to regularly dump his over produced or corrupted nanites at a vault in the Artic, but that vault would not be constructed already- so when Rex starts to overload he either has to expell those Nanites turning everyone around him into an Evo or he goes berserk and turns into a mechanical kaiju who then gets amnesia once he calms down.
Rex: exists
Iron Hands: the flesh.... Is weak?
Let's go, First ben 10 now My Underrated King. I'm not even a warhammer fan I just like these videos😭
Here's on hoping this channel grow faster and get more exposure, really like the video
He’s getting ordained as the chosen prophet of the Machine God and there’s not a single thing he can do to stop it.
one thing to bear in mind is he can be used as a "conduit" for things if he overextends himself (something he's want to do if he thinks he can save people) we see this happen when he tries to cure One.
Best I can imagine is he gives them skyrim quest markers and can share video feed if he has a relay tower.
now deciding that he wants to *have a titan weapon* is another story with his arms
I think a big hitch to this is if Rex doesn't end up on a human world. Imagine if he ended up in Commorah for example. That could go so wrong so fast
Ben and Rex fusing into a new more powerful biomechanical chaos god that takes over both the galaxy and the wrap would be amazing to see it happen.
Heck yeah! The twin gods of life and death, living and unliving!!
9:34 umm actually there is one set of tech where Rex can't hack/replicate. That be anything the orks make due to their warp power. But outside of that you're probably correct.
ı think simce he can replicate the omnitrix he most likely can
@@lorekeeper685 From what little knowledge I know of Ben 10 doesn't the omnitrix only work with A it's limited supply of onboard DNA storage and B with the vast DNA storage it has back home in whatever DNA vault the original creator made for it?
Next I'm unsure if Rex has come into contact with the omnitrix before getting 40K zapped. Unless Rex puts it together that when orks are around he can bend the rules as to what tech is so long as it follows ork logic or better yet get ahold of their DNA and turn into one thanks to omnitrix tech he aquired, it ain't happening.

I really appreciate your approach with these videos- You approach the characters with the lens of their genre, tone, and themes in mind, which results in what I consider to be a much more genuine and accurate read. That's something that tends to be severely lacking in many of these powerscaling or powercaling-adjacent conversations.
If this were a series, I imagine Rex would end up in the 40k universe by way of an unstable portal, or some sort of dimensional interference…
And I bet 100% if Rex needed an antagonist for season 1… I’d say Illuminor Szeras of the Necron could certainly be a good option.

Correct me if im wrong, nut rex didnt have the omega as a kid right? That doctor injected it into him past episode 10 or so right in the jungle. The "Iron Giant" bit was actually just raw Rex
I do feel between the two of them, Rex would be the most likely to fall the dark side, but I’m curious to see what you would do in a grimdark telling of the two characters.
I think rex even without the God nanites, powers are crazy at the end of the series. With his better understanding and control of his mecha form. Since the alpha nanite he was able to control to make sense enough in the ball
19:40, so, Ben and Rex fused, and then chaosified into gods beyond gods? Yeah, I’m down for that
I could easily see Rex being seen as new omnisiah. 4:40
As long as he doesn’t run his mouth too much and kinda pick up on the seriousness of his situation, he would be venerated as a messiah of the Omnissiah.
