I'm sorry that's dangerously arrogant, my dude. Like AFE is a badass inclusion as well, there are some that don't like it because it doesn't have the pace of the first Alien movie. Its more focused on the action/suspense that James Cameron brought to the big screen, the only reason that game suffered was because Cold Iron stopped working on it. Isolation suffers because Amanda's story still isn't finished. But we both know that she survives anyway, as we've seen in the Aliens director cut.
The beginning of erasure, reminds me of past decade for Halo where they did everything in their power to try and remove Bungie's established look and sound. Became the center focus of Halo Infinite's reveal and hype, to show they're undoing those changes😅

For those who don't know Zula is a character who first appeared in the comics in 2016. She's been in several of the comic series and has appeared in three of the novels (so far). Seeing her as the main protagonist of this game is exciting as a fan. She's also a friend of Amanda.

Basically, all the people who were displeased Isolation wasn't more like AvP in genre basically created a spiritual, modded Isolation where you can shoot and kill the xenomorph.

Then, her character was bastardized as they placed into as many Alien stories as possible, trying to connect her to every major event in the Alien universe. You know she's not going to die because someone higher up needs her to be placed whatever future product they come up with.
The only drawback to Alien Isolation imo was that there was effectively no fighting the aliens, instead of being tough enemy encounters that could be overcome with strategy, resources, and planning, like Big Brothers. There's something about running and hiding that's less tense than having to consider if you should be fighting right now, or a fight you think you don't need to run from suddenly becomes one you should've run from. The PC Aliens vs. Predator game was scarier to me because of that

Ngl it is really annoying that pretty much every main character in alien games and movies has to be a woman. Colonial Marines is the last game where the main character was a guy
