Thanks for watching my youtube channel. If you are into J-Rock check out my other reactions. I love a band maid reaction, for example, I listened to band maid - dice. Also, check out the first time I listened to band-maid last month which kickstarted my youtube for the grave. I also love a babymetal reaction, check out the first time I listened to babymetal live (gimme chocolate) on my channel. Also, I enjoy a one okay rock reaction plus a lovebites reaction . Check out my lovebites - holy war reaction for instance. Or, my one okay rock - the beginning.

You get it. Most people don't. Babymetal is about Duality. Something can be two things at the same time. Or one thing on the surface and another thing underneath. The Japanese have a term for this 'gap moe' I think that only applies to people. Yandere is a type of gap moe. But anyways I think it's the influence of Buddhism. Buddhism has a lot about Duality. You do see this in the west but it's much more prevalent in Japan.
I just started getting into Japanese Vocaloid music. You see the Duality there a lot. People see Hatsune Miku and she's cute. A lot of Vocaloid songs are horrifying. Even the ones that sound cute.

    Next suggestion:
    - _"Ijime Dame Zettai"_ live at Sonisphere Festival 2014, official live.

Very nicely done. Really appreciated your open mindedness and willingness to see the value in something that frankly can throw some people completely off first time out. And when you heard this the song was already over nine years old. So Babymetal were/are true innovators. Great reacction.

One of the most brilliant under promoted (Amuse....) bands most ppl seem never to have heard of. Single handedly revived my interest in music for the first time in 20 years - barely a bad track amongst them - BUT...to be SEEN imo

You're in for a treat, BABYMETAL is simply put amazing. It's interesting how you said current rock/metal music feels stuck in the past, because that's what BABYMETAL's producer Kei Kobayashi also thought. As a long time Metal fan he felt that the genre had gotten stale and needed something new to revitalize it. His idea was to combine Metal and JPop. The band has evolved so much over the years and it's hard to fathom that they have been going for 12 years now. Looking forward to more reactions from you as you dive into the foxhole.

Welcome to the Foxhole and BabyMetal Galaxy.🦊🤘
Brit fellas are always welcome to this beautiful madness, you'll know what I'm talking when you see some live performance like Sonisphere Festival 2014, Brixton or Wembley Arena.
They're friends with BMTH band since a very long time, another great supporter of this group and with great songs to check it out. They got a song collab called "Kingslayer".
BabyMetal came back after a year of hiatus with 2 new singles already out and 3 more coming next year along with a live show and album release, later they will join Sabaton's Europe Tour as a special guests and they will be back in the UK among others countries, is gonna be awesome, i have no doubt.
Dance choreography and metal had never been seen before and they somehow managed to make it works creating their unique own genre called kawaii-metal, mixing Jpop and heavy metal along with many more sub genres and rhythms, you'll have so much fun going through this journey.
However this isn't actually live version, is studio album version over a live performance which was partially live only on the vocals and choreography with backing track sound. They have their own band called Kami Band introduced later on that same show and after that Kami Band become regular at live performance.
BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute), mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms, They are:
    *SuMetal* (lead vocals).
    *MoaMetal* (scream and dance)
*YuiMetal* (scream and dance, former member since 2018)
    None of them are related.
This was in December 2013 at SuMetal 16th Birthday, the other girls had 14 yo and there was a big party you have seen nothing yet, wait for _"Babymetal Death"_
Some recommendations for next songs like:
    - _"Ijime Dame Zettai"_ live at Sonisphere Festival 2014.
    - _Catch Me If You Can_ live at Budokan 2014 (you got a safe to react version with subtitles at GuilhermeCait channel) or...
    - _Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!_ live at this same live performance Legend 1997 in Makuhari Messe Japan when SuMetal is celebrating her birthday becoming a metal goddess queen and leaving her idol jpop form (you can find one at Gans Tomas channel under "Head Bangya" title).
You have more than 50 songs and still more to come. Amuse their label is very hard to deal so if you want to avoid copyright blocked you have *Babymetal Reactor Resource* channel you'll get full original clips of their best live performance with watermarked logo safe to react, look for "Future Plans" vid, follow instructions and you'll get all of them, upload the one with the logo for us and you can watch without it, don't worry for us we already saw all of them.
Shout-out to Japan, Kit Kat and many more japanese kitsune mate around are very happy and so do I.🥳🎉🎊⚽🇯🇵
Hope you coming back with more BM songs. See you! 🦊🤘

There is nothing quite like Babymetal, so a degree of confusion is a pretty normal initial reaction, but you got the idea of what they are about very quickly. Babymetal's unique conceit is melding the cuteness of j-pop vocals, dance, and costumes with heavy metal music in way that makes you go, "This shouldn't work, but it does."

They were officially introduced on the 2010 October 10. An experiment that got out of hand. Formed by
Su-metal (Susuka Nakamoto 12 years Vocalist ) also known as Queen-Su or true metal goddess.
    Moametal (Moa Kikuchi 11years Chorus)
Yuimetal (Yui Mizuno 11years Chorus ) does not appear in the last concert of 2017, his retirement is announced in 2018.
The musicians are known as Kami-Band (divine band or band of the gods).
They create their own Kawaii-metal genre.
Kawaii It is translated as tender, beautiful...., It is characterized by using everything that is considered tender pop, folk, rap, march,... everything that you cannot imagine, On a base of any metal.
The only thing you can expect...... Is the unexpected.
In Japan, minors under 15 years of age cannot go to concerts, which is why his first works are aimed at this audience, despite that, they reached a much larger audience.
Their first work titled "Babymetal" is a compilation of early hits with more youthful and adult themes, the album "Metal Resistance" is more youthful adult, still using hooks for minors, The "Babymetal Galaxy" is more adult, using genres from all over the world.
His fourth work "the other one" (The one, is the official name of the fans) It's a concept album
    " WELCOME TO FOXHOLE"

Good first reaction and welcome to the BABYMETAL Galaxy. Looks like my comments are being removed again. I'll have to cut it down (a lot).
BABYMETAL are unique. They are a fusion of Metal with JPop aesthetics, but they have evolved and will mix so many different musical styles and genres in with the metal.
BABYMETAL have over 50 songs now and you will have trouble finding two alike. They play virtually every metal genre and will mix in other genres like ska, reggae, rap, Latin, Bollywood, EDM, dub step and more. Some songs are good hard metal, some lean towards their pop roots and they do everything in between.

@@MarkAmerMUSIC No, I know it's UA-cam and not you. Quite often if I write "too much" it just disappears - it is very frustrating as I'm trying to help with some extra and (I hope) interesting info and being prevented for no apparent reason.

Oh, so thats why your comments have been short lately. I didnt know there was a length limit? Can you split it up into 2 comments? Maybe put the second part as a reply to youself to keep it together? If its not too big of a hassle. I hate to see that body of knowledge not shared only becaue ytube thinks that someone talks too much.

    • @Grington300
      @Grington300 Рік тому +2

@@Codametal I don't think there is a length limit as such, but if I do post long comments lately they often disappear. I try doing it as replies (that has worked a couple of times in the past) and then by splitting them up into separate comments, they disappear again nearly every time. My original comment here must have been about 10 paragraphs ... what I posted was my 5th or 6th attempt to get at least something useful to stick.

    • @Codametal
      @Codametal Рік тому +1

@@Grington300 And it's the same copy and pasted text you use every time, right? I noticed there are some 'buzz' words they immediately have on some list that automatically flags the posting and removes it. Like if you use the word 'L-ve' and "g-rls" and words with THAT sort of connotation, they'll remove it. I've used those words sometimes to refer to the SG super ladies and almost always they get deleted within like 30 seconds. I hate it, cause I'll sometimes spend like 20 minutes composing a long message and it get deleted and put into a black hole never to be seen again. All that time and effort wasted.

Careful now! You let Babymetal in and you're done 😈; down the foxhole never to resurface. There are a LOT of us there already. Personally, my tastes don't run to either metal or J-pop, but Babymetal transcends both genres. Like others have suggested already, have a listen to Karate, Megitsune or Headbanger. Welcome 🦊🦊🦊

They taught Metallica to dance this song. James Hetfield loves the girls more than you could know. He trained them in the ways of metal way back when.
