I think what makes the first one so frustrating, is that Jimmy is clearly not interested in the judge's opinion and critiques. Jackie while reversing the image is a major blunder she at least had the humility to own her mistakes.
Yeah but she had the nerve to say you guys know I’m a great artist n know how to tattoo (I’m paraphrasing) and her line work was always terrible. It’s crazy she thought she could win the whole show.🤦♀️ has she seen her shaky line work.
jason's griffin was probably one if not the most amazing black and white griffin i've ever saw in a tattoo, the other designs were so bad, can't believe he was sent home
Jimmy definitely had the worst you don’t turn poison ivy into a childlike cartoon character and the fact he thinks he completed the challenge is just unbelievably arrogant
@@artisticalex1206 Totally agree with this especially when the whole point was supposed to be comic books and she resembled more like a cartoon network version
So what Jackie does the ACTUAL challenge but because she flipped the image, she's out? Makes sense. Just seemed like they wanted to keep Jimmy regardless of the requirements.
well, to someone who likes comics and has a literal character made wrong that would be pretty bad, on a technical standpoint is much worst to fail to faithfully portray a character than using the wrong style, if you asked me that two-face tatoo is really awesome, but the error fucks it up when you start to realise it
@@bardockshiny it’s not that big of a deal tbh it’s flipped so what? it’s still the character and Jime didn’t do the challenge at all. that’s not poison ivy man that shit is stupid he should’ve packed his shit and left
@@bardockshinyyou're right. It's worst to fail by portraying a character incorrectly. Now tell me, through the hundreds of different interpretations of Poison Ivy, which one looks like that? None, so clearly it's portaying the character incorrectly. As a DC comic fan, it's much easier to see a two face with his right side burner than it is for chibi Poison Ivy. There has been so many universes in the DC mythos. It's not hard to believe that in one of them, two face was facing the other way when he was attacked.
@@ivimarty I agree that the Poison Ivy should have gone home here, but the fact that it was a Two-Face image that was flipped is what makes it a big deal. They could have gotten away with it if it were any other character, but it's ALWAYS the left half of his face that's scarred. If I were a Two-Face fan and someone tattooed him on my body with the wrong half burned up, I would be very upset.
the key thing for me is if you put both of those side by side without any context I and most people will immediately guess that's two-face only if told it's a DC character might I make the jump to Poison Ivy she's going to spend alot of time telling people that's supposed to be Poison Ivy instead of people knowing it is plus they themselves admitted it was a parameter failure which should be an auto boot unless another is extremely egregious that's the whole point of a parameter after all
9:25 this is outrageous. Chris gave realism. I’ve gotten tattooed by Chris a few times and I’m obsessed with what he’s done. He’s even so much better than what is seen on the show and he’s such a nice guy. Anyone on the east coast should get work done by him. Just felt the need to back him up.
I would’ve much rather had Chris’ flowers over hers. Hers were pretty but definitely not realistic. It looked more like water color or painting, not real life. In a perfect world, if I’m honest, I would have his flowers with her stems. Her stems were actually really beautiful and his did kind of mess it up. I still much prefer his work and details though. MUCH prefer. If he would’ve incorporated more organic and spread out stems, along with a tiny bit more darkness outlining the flowers, then that tattoo would’ve been perfect.
I feel like it’s easy to forget the guys have to do fairly complex tattoos under pressure in a six hour time crunch. I’m sure a lot of them are much better artists when they’re working under their own conditions.
Janelle's jaguar and Jason's griffon were both amazing pieces. I get so irritated at that clip of Chris saying the chest of the griffon doesn't look like feathers...of course it doesn't, because it's fur. You can see where the feathers stop and the fur starts.
@@ellieredrup8526 Nunez makes himself look like a fool every time he opens his mouth on this show. I will never understand how they considered him smart enough to judge

The judges are often caught up in their ego trips. Honestly I see them fawning over some of the most trash tattoos. I really think the judges have no clue what good ink looks like anymore and just ride on their big names. Half the time it feels like they're just using words they heard on some art critiquing show.
how in gods name did they not mention the fact that Jime's tattoo is one tone of green...not only did he completely miss the mark on making poison ivy look like poison ivy but that was all the same color green it was crazy
@@NP148 nah, i feel like even if it was new school the colors screw it up completely. should've added different hues or different shades of green so it doesn't look so flat.
in the comment section from a different video i read that he asked to be sent home because he caught corona so they had to send him home that day, hence why they all change oppinion so drastically after praising it at first. might just be made up tho u can never know with the comments haha
For real. As a tat artist myself, of course technical is paramount BUT I would much prefer a beautiful design that's placed well and flows well rather than a squared off design that's just slapped on. I would prefer a tattoo look amazing from a few steps away but might have some flaws when you're right up on it rather than one that looks bad from every angle near or far but TECHNICALLY its good... Lmao
What's more controversial than these picks is the choice to not include Jamie's elimination in season 2 simply because he didn't have tattoos on his own body
That one has always been the worse to me. His wolf was way better than Sara’s but the guest judge got all butt hurt about him not having tattoos. Then the judges suddenly had a problem with it too
That was so ridiculous, that’s like saying u can’t be a surgeon because he never experienced a surgery himself.🤦♀️ that’s just idiotic. I can a judge shouldn’t be a judge either if he never committed a crime.
i mean its weird to see a tattoo artists without tattoos but doing a tattoo and getting one are two completly different things so i wouldnt say you could tell how good he is by that alone
9:06 Voting off Chris was COMPLETE BS. He had BY FAR the best tattoo of the 3. Amanda has a muddy ugly tattoo. Chris's tattoo was BEAUTIFUL. Not even close. And they voted him off. Complete BS.
@@jouventslouis3911 Don't think she proved she had what it takes to be an Ink Master there though since she took the cowards way out by getting help on her work. So Amanda and friends won I guess. Also kept quiet about it like a true competitor. Kinda bitchy if you ask me.
To be fair, they actually eliminated him for making it "look" like the mythical creature. The judge is the one wrong about the look. Griffins have the head of an eagle and the body of a lion. The chest should be fur, not feathers, his tattoo was accurate to "standard" depictions of that creature. The judge did not get the creature right, he looked at a few pictures online and was like, yep this guy is wrong. Most griffon pictures are of the creature on all fours so you see the feathery neck, but the chest should be lion fur.
@@mskelly8642 You got it wrong, the firsts & all illustrations of Griffin have the lion's mane replaced by the eagle's feathers. I haven't seen a single illustration with the lion's mane or fur instead of the feathers. Some illustrations even have the feathers going all the way to the eagle's limps. A Griffin is half Eagle & half Lion. No only its head is an Eagle. It has the wings, limps & head of an eagle. Many artists prefer the upper half of the body all eagle. Jimmie' Griffin with the tail between the legs, the small wings & weird abdomen should have been rejected. His Griffin has feathers instead of Lion's mane. The other one had a better composition. Jason's Griffin has a better "anatomy" & it looks like the feathers were replaced by the lion's mane/ hairs. Honestly mythological creatures are changed or stylized all the time. It's like Dragons have many forms. It's kinda like that with Griffins when you see the illustrations & statues.
Apparently, Jason was sent home cause he was sick (I think with COVID) and didn’t wanna tell everyone. That’s just according to other comments on various InkMaster videos so fact check me on it lol
This isn’t true. The episode aired on March 10th and was filmed months prior. As of March 10th there were less than 1,500 reported cases of Corona in the US with zero lockdowns in affect. There is a 0% chance Jason had Covid when this episode was filmed as it was barely on anyone’s radar.
@@bobby218 I said I think it was COVID but I don’t know for sure, I’m going based on other video comments. Also just because there were 1500 reported cases of COVID doesn’t mean there were potentially way more that were unreported.
Jason was sick and REQUESTED to go home and the judges were told via their earpiece. Dave’s earpiece wasn’t working and that’s why he looked so confused when they voted for Jason. Word for word from Jason’s mouth.
Jimmy’s Poison Ivy was.. 🤢. That green looks so damn muddy and hard to read. She looks like one of those girls from Monster High. Jackie’s being flipped sucks but in terms of looks and readability, Jackie’s is far and above better. By a country mile!
What do you mean Monster High?! That show is for kids and her breasts huge. That's gross, man. That show is about diversity and being true to yourself.
Like many people said here. There's many multiverses so can't their be one where the character is flipped? A flipped character isn't worse than a character who doesn't even fit the style. Are they out of their minds?!
@@bryn1063 There's never been an iteration of Two-Face drawn with the right side burned. The only other versions were unscarred. The fact that it was this particular character makes the flipped image a huge deal if you're a Two-Face fan. I understand the multiverse thing, but that's definitely just an excuse here. That being said, it was at least following the rules of the challenge. That Poison Ivy was far worse.
also, wtf was up with her boobs??? ik the new school style (and most tattoo shit like this espically on this show) really likes to sexualize women but…the boobs jsut seemed to fucking weird and honestly painful
Oh dude, Nuñez has insanely ass takes when it comes to tattoos. Like he deadass is like "hey, you did the challenge, but i straight up dont like your style. So you're out in my books." Like _what the fuck, that's not your job._
I'm a huge Batman fan, and Two-Face is my favorite villain. Even if it wasn't the intention, the fact that the image has been flipped and has to be seen through a mirror is actually brilliant.
When I look at jackie’s tattoo, I see an amazing tattoo of two face. Most people won’t even notice if in one rendition of two face (who’s done so many different ways throughout comics) the scar is on the different side. Jimmy was arrogant with no respect at all to the character of poison Ivy while Jackie admitted she made a mistake. Plus, jimmy’s was ugly. A big splotch of dark green on a girls leg that doesn’t look like poison Ivy at all!
Agreed - I’m surprised nobody commented on the poor color contrast for ivy. Only the most diehard comic fans would know Two Face is always burned on his left side; but that Poison Ivy tattoo totally misses the mark
Jackie should have stayed but flipping it was a huge error. It's not just one rendition. Two Face is scarred on the left side of his face. The colour can change. The level of damage can change. But its always his left.
yeah that is all i thought when I saw it , you got tat of a big green blob, oh now i see it used to be some anime thing, never would i go owe that is poison ivy
Amanda should’ve been eliminated over Christ 100% Amanda’s tattoo is no where near realism. Chris wasn’t a perfect tattoo but at least he hit the REALISM mark unlike Amanda.
Though Tim's crocuses had wrong leaves. I like Chris' lilies better than Amanda's flowers. "Muddy peony". It's a poppy. If she tried to make a peony, then she definitely should have gone home. :-D
So now I got a question. Would the judges have been fine with the two-face tattoo facing outwards? There's an obscure "rule" in tattooing that faces should face towards the center of the body, and if the artist had gone with the original two-face design then the face would be outwards, breaking the rule. She mirrored the image to have him face inwards despite making the face the wrong way
Knowing the judges, they probably would've wanted her to tattoo the leg with the fresh scar because then it would be the correct way and facing inward. There was literally no way for her to win if she was doing a leg piece.
100% agree with you! This show is probably the most contradictory show I've ever seen! Control the canvas, do whatever the canvas wants, this wouldn't fly out in the real world, this isn't the real world! They literally just say anything to try and sound like they know what they're talking about!
@MrWadeBarrett the problem, tho, is that either the burned half of the face would be more obscured to keep it on the correct side, or the character would be facing outwards which isn't as aesthetically pleasing in tattooing
"You flipped the image, now he's burnt on the wrong side" Me: bruh, DC has like a million multiverses, I'm sure there's one where he's burnt on the right side instead of his left. That was a stupid reason to send her home.
Customer comes first. I trust my artist when they ask if they can reverse the side because of scarring. You can clearly tell it's 2 face. That poison ivy could have been mistaken for a dryad or fairy. It was such a stupid call on their part.
There are no universes in which Harvey Dent got his *right* side scarred. It's even an important plot point in Detective Comics #187 , in which George Blake disguises himself as Two-Face to frame Harvey. Blake was easily identified as a fake because he had his makeup on the wrong side of his face, having used as reference a newspaper photograph of Dent from a reversed negative.
ended up coming across this show after getting my first tattoos, and being an artist, this has to be rigged. the most well done drawings are completely overlooked, and the terrible ones are over-complimented and undeserving. unreal.
@@onetrueronin yo cannot say its objective because of how subjective art is. some people may think its the most impressive tattoo ever while you think it looks bad. its pointless to argue over these things bud.

That thing was ugly af. The griphon from Jason was stunning; loved it
So mad about Jackie because she didn't flipped the tattoo on ignorance but her canvas had a scar so she had to flip it, that poison ivy tattoo is worse.
Jason's griffin looks like a book illustration. So what if it isn't clean, the messy adds to the mystic feel. He definanlty did not deserve to go home that day
yes i would have rather had that backwards than that garden fairy jimmy called poison ivy’s poison ivy is a Sexy seductive evil villain that was like batman villains for toddlers
@stormmist7791you keep commenting this, but you're wrong. Yes, on a technical level, the poison ivy tattoo was better, but the challenge wasn't to put forth the most technically sound ink, it was to be consistent in the comic art style. That was the challenge. Jimmy didnt do the challenge, no matter how good his tattoo turned out (which is not much better than hers), his was worse, based off the challenge. Not to mention, he made the tattoo flat as hell. Also, her tattoo wouldn't "devolve into a blob in weeks," that doesn't happen. The only problem was some shoddy line work, but that's it. Inking was done well, good use of dynamic colors, shading, etc. Pretty much on every level other than line work, hers was better.
Not only did Jimmy not follow the challenge by making it New School instead of Comic Style, but he didn’t even make it look good for a New School style. Skin is way too dark, body is contorted, not to mention Jimmy just didn’t care that he blatantly missed the challenge
I swear that judge with the beard, I cant stand that guy because he lets someone change his mind so easily. Definitely threw the best tattoo out when they got rid of Jason at the end of the video.
If you’re talking about Dave Navarro then I understand. I don’t know why he was even on that show.. I guess he’s a celebrity to being a ex hot red chilli pepper but I don’t know how he’s qualified to judge tattoos other than him having some tattoos on his body 🤨

@@Aaaaduuu I thought her tattoo was amazing despite the mistake. And, this show is known for its misogynistic bias so I knew when I saw her in the bottom, that she was going to be sent home.
They eliminated jackie and not Jimmy? That was some of the worst judging I've seen. He didn't even do the challenge, hers was flipped but otherwise perfect, idk what they were smoking that day. Chris's tattoo as well was way better than Amanda's and Tim's, these aren't controversial eliminations they're just bad decisions. Jason's elimination too was just dumb, that guy who voted for him has horrible taste
The poison ivy was unique, and I could identify her but it's unnecessary to make her look like Betty boop unless that was apart of what the judges had in the challenge, while Jacky's two-face had some issues with lines and opposite ends issues, it still was very well designed and detailed correctly to match the character she was doing and it hurts seeing her go when she gave a shit about the challenge
Dude, Chris reminds me of Marcel from Top Chef season 2. Both were kinda jerks to a slight degree, but both were unfairly bullied by their fellow competitors. And both were immensely talented at what they did. I hate how Chris's team always seemed to undermine him and rarely ever listened to him, especially Amanda, who was one of the bigger problems on the show, and when they were in a situation like this, they seemed quick to throw him under the bus.
seriously and i thought it he was on christian’s team why they treat like the enemy did he treat his team mates bad? and i could see the stems on his tattoos he did it with shading tim’s had one stem for sure and amanda and him had help
I *vehemently* disagree. Chris was always being negative and pessimistic, and it rightfully rubbed people the wrong way. He brought the team morale down with his constant comments and passive aggressive BS and even said to their faces that he didn’t trust them to have his back since at the end of the day “only one is going to win”. He held that feeling early on, probably because he saw people not taking every single word he said as gospel and thought “I guess they hate me and want me gone”, which is typical thinking of someone with anxiety or depression or some other issue of that sort. He gave up on being a team player at the slightest bump in the road and at the most basic suggestion to maybe lighten up. It wasn’t done in the most tactful way, but it was hella more tactful and simplistic than I expect of the ambitious, no-nonsense minds on the team , and this is Ink Masters, not ‘Who Wants to Be a Therapist?’ There is also the fact that he said that he considered not tattooing, which is a quitter’s bullshit attitude that also rightfully offended everyone, especially someone like Sutherland, who is a can-do Boomer that is self-driven, self-disciplined, and fights to the end. He doesn’t do ‘give up’, even as a way to ‘process’ as Chris claimed he was doing when he said it. Chris also laughably claimed that he doesn’t let people know what he’s thinking or feeling, but then we see him always letting people know he didn’t like this or that (and oftentimes he ended up wrong for disagreeing) or what he was feeling. His team was patient with him. Sutherland is simply a kind of guy who doesn’t like to hear quitter talk or self pity. He tried to be patient with Chris, he tried to talk to him, but I think by then Chris was comfortable putting up walls since his ego was so bruised at being called out for voicing useless, unconstructive doubts and comments (of which he was handing out in bulk to anyone who would listen) during challenges, that he took that to mean they hated him. He got suspiciously comfortable with his “they’re all out to get me” attitude really fast, as if that’s a state of being he’s very familiar with. They did not hate him, they hated his attitude, and damn bitch me too. It contributed absolutely nothing. His team really had no other reason to want him out since he was a decent tattoo artist. He painted the target on his own back, pointed it out to his teammates, all but told them to trace it, insisted they trace it, and then felt soooo betrayed when they did a half-hearted pencil sketch tracing. He was an energy vampire and a fun sucker and the way he dealt with stress and self-doubt affected everyone else negatively. He pushed them away and then got upset when they eventually gave up on him. He expected them to coddle him and his emotions while giving nothing but the aforementioned pessimism, suspicion, low commitment, and, I’ll say it, whininess in return. I’m mentally ill as fuck but I see right through Chris because I was Chris. He wanted the team to handle him like they were his therapists that simply needed to put up with his bullshit ‘just cuz’, and in his mind they were ‘horrible, mean people’ for not doing so. What about their stress and mental health? Not once did Chris ever infer that he was going to try really hard to be more positive or change his outlook, the thing that was ruining his relationship with others. He said “it’s just how I am”, completely oblivious to the fact that “how he is” is unhealthy and alienating as fuck. He is a contestant that pissed me off almost as much as the really arrogant contestants in past seasons because he was a terrible teammate and acted like a victim. At a certain point you need to believe in yourself and sacrifice your ego for the group’s cohesion. This wasn’t the proper environment for Chris and he should’ve bowed out early. He clearly needs therapy because he has some issues he needs to work through. It seems like he has anxiety or depression, which is not his fault but it is not the responsibility of anyone else to manage. At a certain point you either need to get some meds and therapy or try to manage yourself. I would’ve kicked his ass out day one because a competition like Ink Masters isn’t for people that can’t handle stress and conflict.
@@talynhastime9343 well, maybe he was like this because before he went on the show, he was fired from his previous shop, a shop that he mentioned cared only about the bottom line and not artistic growth. Maybe he was so scorned by that experience that it left him in a downer mood. He even said from the first day he started tattooing he was told "never trust another artist". I get that that's no excuse for him acting the way he did, but that's how he was quite literally taught. And from the sound of it, it feels like you took this way too personal. Maybe YOU have some issues you still need to work through? Or hell, do you personally know any of the artists on this season? Is that why you came after me with your novel of a comment? And who the fuck is Sutherland? Because there's no one on that season named Sutherland in any way.
fr they kept talking about how that guys shading was all great. In my head as a mediocre artist not even a tattoo artist that shading is ass. You can't even tell where the light source is supposed to be shining/coming in from which is why it looks partly 2d and 3d. Jason's shading was phenomenal though. Not to mention, the other guy straight up has a circle/moon in the background with 0 shading just an outline.
2:50 Let me understand this... I'm not a smart person but I have this thing called commonsense. If I went to Jimmy and asked for a superhero tattoo of Dead Pool and gave me his interpretation of the character I should be okay with it because that is his style. What BS!!!
I like Nikki but she irritated the hell out of me in season 12 as a coach. And Jime should’ve been sent home over Jackie. I know Two Face was flipped the wrong way but I’d wear that any day over a character that looks nothing like Poison Ivy. It looked more like Princess Fiona than Poison Ivy. And when it comes to season 11, why the hell did Amanda make it as far as she did? She should’ve been sent home long before.
Let me compare apples to and orange for a sec. I don’t understand how Jesse Smith was labeled a one trick when he’s shown duality and versatility throughout season 2. Yet Jime showed the same type almost all throughout his season, returns, redemption, etc. and has been seen as someone who could do it all.
Jackie's tattoo had issues, but Jimmy's did not meet the challenge. I dont know why they gave Jimmy an exception when they've always eliminated people for not following the challenges.
I wasn't a big fan of Chris in season 11, but what bothers me more is not only the fact that he was eliminated before Amanda. It is also the fact that she did bad tattoos before that, she was in bottom and still forgiven. Like, why? That only shows that the team format doesn't work, bad artists get carried while others with potential go home.
On the upside, I love the creativity of what these artists put out. On the downside, I really, really HATE the nastiness between the competitors. I had the same feeling with one season of Master Chef-US where they were all acting like vultures waiting for one person to "die" so they could pick over the bones. Ink Master feels the same way. Instead of being a competition where fairness and sportsmanship is in play, this is just a dog-eat-dog cluster-*uck. It gets to the point where I want ALL of them to go home because I can't stand their attitude. Grow up, people! These are your peers and you should be supporting your community and not making it so toxic!
Literally. Some of these people are so egotistical its crazy. While confidence is good, your brain worries more about putting others down so it doesn’t think properly. A lot of these people make the tattoos to beat everyone else instead of making them out of their hearts.
18:21 Jimmy's Griffin had a circle behind the head that was glaringly not done correctly (it is crooked as hell), and that wasn't even mentioned. That whole bottom left portion of the circle is way off.
Amanda's tattoos really weren't that bad, but her being saved all the time makes them look worse 😪 Especially with the japanese temple, it looked wack af
I completely disagree with the final tattoo send home, I think Jason's tattoo was amazing for black and white. I like jimmy in the show and most of his tattoo's, but I think his was probably the worst (in my opinion obviously) also that tattoo by Janelle was amazing I'd definitely love to get that tattooed!
How in the heck is the Austin vs Stacey biomech not on this list? I literally remember how everyone including Cleen said Austin should go home cause Stacey did a better tattoo and then the judges just went. "Lol no girls allowed." And kicked her off.
At least Austin was eliminated on the next episode. What annoyed me more on that season was how Amanda was forgiven and reached the fifth place with several bad tattoos.
Jason should NOT have been sent home that tat was crazy, absolutely insane artistry with the drawing and the execution. Judges were smoking some crazy shit that day.
I mean one of the reasons he hated being on the team was because they never listened to him even in that challenge he was a lone wolf they over his head saying he wouldn’t finish then saying he should’ve done more out of his and Amanda’s I liked his more and I feel like the judges let the gallery sway their decision from eliminating her when that’s the way they were leaning
Jason had the better tattoo out of the 3 they showed for the last one ..one of them they didn’t like the pose the other one it wasn’t even really readable i was left in awe about that decision
Sarah makes me laugh, because everytime she's up for elimination she starts putting her heart and soul all into her explanations just to stay in the competition...I think she even cried once!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
i haven’t even watched this yet, but if Jaime isn’t on here this episode is totally void. i fully believe they had it out for him for not having tattoos.
I always love when they introduce the category for that week's challenge, and without fail they cut to a clip of one of the contestants explaining the meaning of elementary-school-level vocabulary.
Yo that made me PISSED. They literally didn't even go off of worst tattoo, they did it on report cards which is the stupidest thing they did on the show.
@@ohnoitslos facts and it’s funny because it’s been contradicted so many times based on track record or worst tattoo and they pick when they want to do either.
How will they say the thin lines doesn’t make it comic-book style when you can literally see that it looked the same as the image. The “random scratchy bumps” are literally just the difference in line weight that Jackie executed perfectly IMO
Two face tattoo was way better sure the burnt side is on the wrong part of his body but it does look way better having the burnt side showing more and the artist was thinking more about the person she was tattooing which should be more important
I’m still pissed about the black & great griffins. They literally sent the 2 best tattoos home that day, wish there was some sort of consistency in the decision making when sending people home
This shows a lot of the reasons why I stopped watching this show. Judges not eliminating tattoos that do not fit the basic parameters of the challenge, the contestants just talk bs about each other and tattoos, judges not applying basic art techniques to the artwork, and no clear judging parameters. This show had the promise to show off the good tattoo artists that are up and coming but wound up to be just another survivor spin-off where the drama means more than anything else.
This is like Gordon Ramsey on steroids. The amount of venom from these judges. “Those lines are shaky” my a$$. Some of these were art pieces and their like “it’s garbage” 😂😂
This video popped up on my recommended and reminded me all over that I'm still pissed that Jackie was sent home. That was literally NOT Poison Ivy. It's maddening they let Jime slide through with that obvious cop-out because he just couldn't do comic tattoo
Had Chris used that last hour to get a bit more definition on the outlines of the flowers, and realized that he made 1 stem for 3 flowers, he wouldve absolutely crushed this event. He clearly had the best drawing, but it just seems a little unfinished.
3:553:58 The smug ass smirks Jimmy use to make when ever someone would critique him use to drive me insane. I just wanted to smack him through the screen 😂
Even if she said all that, Jimmy didn’t even follow the rules to that challenge and was arguing his pointless point to the judges lol.
The "blunder" is actually very fitting for the tattoo and character. A Two-Face tattoo that has to be seen through a mirror is pretty awesome imo.

well, to someone who likes comics and has a literal character made wrong that would be pretty bad, on a technical standpoint is much worst to fail to faithfully portray a character than using the wrong style, if you asked me that two-face tatoo is really awesome, but the error fucks it up when you start to realise it

@@PhineasFerb001 Amanda was beautiful? You smoking crack?
The mythological tattoos that lead to eliminations because they “don’t look like the animal” is so questionable
lose lose tbh
Jason’s tattoo was beautiful… i swear sometimes the judges forced the eliminations

It could still be on the same leg with the correct side of the face being burned...
@MrWadeBarrett the problem, tho, is that either the burned half of the face would be more obscured to keep it on the correct side, or the character would be facing outwards which isn't as aesthetically pleasing in tattooing

Honestly, Ilan was more of a jerk than Marcel was.
@@animefan25 agreed, like Amanda and especially Christian were bigger jerks than Chris.
seriously and i thought it he was on christian’s team why they treat like the enemy did he treat his team mates bad? and i could see the stems on his tattoos he did it with shading tim’s had one stem for sure and amanda and him had help
It wasn’t done in the most tactful way, but it was hella more tactful and simplistic than I expect of the ambitious, no-nonsense minds on the team , and this is Ink Masters, not ‘Who Wants to Be a Therapist?’
There is also the fact that he said that he considered not tattooing, which is a quitter’s bullshit attitude that also rightfully offended everyone, especially someone like Sutherland, who is a can-do Boomer that is self-driven, self-disciplined, and fights to the end.
@@talynhastime9343 well, maybe he was like this because before he went on the show, he was fired from his previous shop, a shop that he mentioned cared only about the bottom line and not artistic growth. fr they kept talking about how that guys shading was all great.
Plus Jackie’s tattoo didn’t look that bad…
I wasn't a big fan of Chris in season 11, but what bothers me more is not only the fact that he was eliminated before Amanda. It is also the fact that she did bad tattoos before that, she was in bottom and still forgiven. Like, why?
That only shows that the team format doesn't work, bad artists get carried while others with potential go home.
“you’re an amazing artist but, you’re not the play safe kind of guy” - judges who demand you push the envelope every week 🤔
That griffin looked amazing?!
00:23 thank you, I really needed to be reminded what Consistency is
Jason got done dirty that was the best tattoo there in my opinion
that Janelle tattoo was a lot better than the owl coming out of the as*
"Let's test consistency to tattoo to a predrawn comic book character."
Jimmy: Screw comic book! Lemme do my thing.
Really, Jimmy?
18:21 Jimmy's Griffin had a circle behind the head that was glaringly not done correctly (it is crooked as hell), and that wasn't even mentioned. That whole bottom left portion of the circle is way off.
Amanda's tattoos really weren't that bad, but her being saved all the time makes them look worse 😪 Especially with the japanese temple, it looked wack af
jason should not have gone home. if i had to pick a tattoo i wanted on me that one out of all of them is the one i want.
Bruh Jackie’s tattoo was so dope. Recognizable, looks like a comic book, the colors pop. Jimme completely missed the mark.
9:05 pissed me tf off that ribbon was badass and those flowers looked like someone picked them off the ground and placed em on his legs. too real
Jason should NOT have been sent home that tat was crazy, absolutely insane artistry with the drawing and the execution. Judges were smoking some crazy shit that day.
Chris: I hate being on the team. I'm never at fault with team challenges.
Also Chris: Why did everyone back stab me?
But dude also had the better tat of the challenge and got sent home.
That two face tattoos was incredible. They just nitpicked all that little stuff
The more I watch these. The more I lost faith in these judges opinions
BRO WHEN THEY SAID JACKIE I WAS SO MAD. Her Tattoo was amazing
Jason had the better tattoo out of the 3 they showed for the last one ..one of them they didn’t like the pose the other one it wasn’t even really readable i was left in awe about that decision
Damn Jason got absolutely screwed over at the end. That was so clean looking. The other dude's Griffen looked like a consh shell
the judges seems so repulsive, I feel like they would be a nightmare blunt rotation, especially the one who voted Jason, had to be personal.
The one that is missing is Melissa’s Japanese Snake. They didn’t want to send their winner home for one bad tattoo but hers was better
Those 3 judges were constantly showing favoritism
Most controversial one for me was when they eliminated a guy in the second season for not having tattoos
I’ve never seen a male tattoo artist with no tattoos.
Is it just me or is that jaguar cover up fucking amazing??? Looks fucking incredible like cmon
I thought Jason's Griffin was the best; beautiful.
Anyone else notice you hear Oliver but never see him. lol.
Oliver was a big piece of shit in real life and he had alotta controversy and were asked to leave the show.
9:51 Chris tattoo was amazing. 😢
Dude had the best color realistic tattoo there imo.
Dude had the best color realistic tattoo between the 3
The others targeted him smh
Jason going home with that badass griffin is criminal…
I’m still pissed about the black & great griffins. They literally sent the 2 best tattoos home that day, wish there was some sort of consistency in the decision making when sending people home
8:39 damn, that really doesn't look like a bouquet
Amanda was never going to win so why she stayed so long was beyond me
This shows a lot of the reasons why I stopped watching this show.
They really sent Jason home when he had the best looking griffon out there. That one judge is on smt
Really hated jime for doing that ridiculous character. That should've sent him home, and he was smug asf
Jasons Griffin being the on to send him home is straight robbery
Chris was robbed
The fuck... that jaguar was beautiful!
Most controversial thing about this is not including Jamie from s2. They really trying to hide that huh
they were so DRAMATIC about the image flip
"tree branch coming out her ass" 😂
Jason's griffin was phenomenal
when they said chris's was three flowers my jaw dropped
I like how that guy did a tattoo of a female Green Giant(YUM!) and called it Poison Ivy
3:55 3:58 The smug ass smirks Jimmy use to make when ever someone would critique him use to drive me insane. I just wanted to smack him through the screen 😂
