They should have some form of protocol or backup for canvases who tap out, as it’s not the artists fault they were unable to finish most of the time. Neither party is to blame and they should really have a better way to deal with it.
Grace Alexandra sometimes it should count against the artist. The artist needs to have good bedside manner to help their canvas through the pain and not tattoo too hard. Remember when they did head tattoos and Kelly Doty tattooed her canvas too hard? The canvas tapped out to have her other side tattooed by a different artist. Totally Kelly’s fault, needed to count against her
Ariana _ That’s true too! I just finished the video and noticed that now. Also goes for the duo where the guy ended up tattooing himself, and the guy from season one who made his client scream in pain.
I really don’t understand why the show chooses canvases who don’t have the pain tolerance to sit through long ass tattoos. It’s in no way the artists’ fault if they back down, and shouldn’t be their responsibility to find a new one. This show isn’t about how well they talk to their canvases, it’s about their skills and art.
Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Someone passing out for no reason? Not the artists fault. Being an asshole and pushing someone past their limit? That's on you. Pain management is part of the industry
They were both very disrespectful but as an artist you can’t choose what to put on someone else’s body forever especially when they already have an idea
The fact they brought back Julia's canvas to show his side of the story was incredible. Julia has too much of an artist's ego which is devastating for an art career.
but think about it, what the dude wanted would have lost her the show anyways. you cant just ask for whatever you want, theres challenges that need to be met and that dude didnt care at all
@@TREVINparty He was trying to be flexible but he wanted some of the ideas he had. She didn’t want to work with him at all. It’s where creativity comes into play
Client pain tolerances should be tested before theyre allowed to be canvases on the show... It would also help to gauge if the artist is being too rough. It's unfair for artists who get canvases with low pain tolerances. Edit: Is there a way to turn off notifications for comments? 😅
I think some of them had a pain tolerance before, as they had tattoos previously on them (and not small ones, but ones of decent sizes). I think this compiled some of the ones that had no pain tolerance mixed with artists being too rough. The guy who passed out while going to the bathroom gets to me still though because I felt like he tried when he was actually getting tattoo'd.
OMG right!! I was so worried about him going so ambitious with lost time but it turned out absolutely gorgeous. She's lucky to have such a beautiful piece.
Poor Mike. The guy said black and grey is fine, then threw a hissy fit the next day wanting color... And the judges had the nerve to say he was lucky to not be in the bottom after doing a solid tattoo on Anthony. Not because that tattoo, but because the other canvas walked out
That first woman was legitimate. She was experiencing numbness and hearing loss, which are signs of disassociation. Notice how she is very calm when she alerts her tatooist to what is going on even though her symptoms were bizarre and troubling. Lack of emotion is another sign. Her decision not to continue was probably the best thing for her.
I hate how some ppl are disregarding the pain some of the canvases feel like, this happens in real life all the time. People pull out of tattoos all the time, Anthony himself was saying that he didnt like getting tatted.
I think it's annoying that they back out. Their career is on the line, they are competing with others. People should know their limit. Though we haven't seen the entire episode.
Julia’s canvas was actually really sweet. He even came back to try to continue working with her after SHE was rude to him. Julia was just awful. She didn’t deserve to be there.
right he was too sweet and this is an example of how women do whatever they want cause they cant get any repercussions, for example if i would have treated that dood like that i would have gotten punched in the face. he just took it well.

I’m so glad Chris actually won that round despite losing a lot of time and having to get a different canvas. Such a BEAUTIFUL tattoo that he did as well!
ISATOU CEESAY it’s hard to describe and it depends on where on your body and how long you have been in the chair. The first first five minutes of outlining on your shoulder feels like a slow cat scratch, the 6th hour on the chair getting your elbow colored in feels like someone stabbed you with a knife that is vibrating while they are pinching all your nerves at the same time and punching you in the bones while on fire with a thousand red ants eating an open flesh wound. It hurts, really bad. Anybody who tells you it doesn’t hurt either has a really small tattoo in a not painful spot, or they are lying. Some places hurt a lot more than others and the longer you are in the chair the more it hurts because your adrenaline starts to wear off and your body starts to feel the pain a lot more. That is your breaking point and everybody has a different breaking point. For me I start to get tired around 3 hours and after 4 hours I’m done. Some people can sit there for 6 hours like a champion.
Longest session I've ever had was 8 hours. I definitely don't recommend it. A lot of people act like it's nothing but if you've been getting tatted for over 4+ hours in any session you know that shit starts to hurt. The only place it probably wouldn't hurt is the upper outer arm. I've had my entire hand and fingers done twice and all I can say is that shit hurts no matter what.
Tyler Syn hurts no matter what and it’s like an earthquake every hour after 4 hours is 10 times more painful. So hour 5 is 10x worse than hour 4 and hour 6 is ten times worse than 5, etc. When people who have one 15 minute tattoo are like “tattoos don’t hurt, I know I have them.” I just want to be like.... no, no you have tattoos, you have your astrological sign for Gemini that took 10 minute and you have no idea. Until feel the outline, then the shading, then the color you don’t know. Until you have had them go over your elbow, which hurt even more then my ribs, 5 times because the color isn’t taking, you don’t know. Tattoos hurt, really really bad.
@@jakkbatt4711 if she had some kind of nerve damage or medical condition then she shouldn’t have agreed. I 100% believe she heard “free tattoo and you get to be on TV” and jumped at the chance then got there and realized tattoos hurt and she couldn’t do it.
A biomechanical tattoo appears as if parts of the human body are made of mechanical parts. It sounded to me like he was looking to have a tattoo that was more robotic (as if everything was made of mechanical parts) instead of biomechanical (parts of the body are mechanical and parts are human). She was obviously worried she would loose the challenge if she did a robotic tattoo instead of a biomechanical tattoo. I definitely see where she was coming from. Volunteering for this competition as a canvas isn't just about getting a free tattoo. The artist is expected to do certain types for each competition. You can't be told to do a flower tattoo and have a canvas who demands an animal tattoo. You'll loose that competition if you do what they ask.
@@TexasRDA I might be wrong in what I think it is but if it is done right what he wanted would have worked. While it sounds robotic if she put it in the right spot, which she didn't do in a lot of other challenges, it could of looked like veins nerves or bones almost replacing that part of his arm.
@@Lezter-ew4nf what are you talking about? There's nothing more important than that, in fact that's the only reason I watched the show is because I wanted to know who was a marine
That lady Julia got a problem. She's playing victim and she doesn't have any empathy towards that guy. Also her changing her demeanor and voice many times is very weird and she may be using it as a tool to play victim.
It's not right but yes, she does have a problem. Her husband died 3 weeks before that tattoo and her children were left back at home to grieve while she continued the competition.
True, but it's just the show. All acting. tattoo shops are NOTHING like this, and these shows are what gives people a warped view of what tattoo culture is all about.
Honestly i thought he was a jerk from the start talking over her and not letting her explain that what he wants wasn't the challenge. She could have said it nicer that she was going to tattoo it on herself but at that point he should have left and walked away he just kept pushing. They both handled it poorly
I agree. I do think it could have worked out if she was calmer and didnt mock him. Another artist and canvas dealt with the same situation in that episode as well and the canvas decided later on to do bio mechanical. Overall I have mixed emotions because his idea was mechanical but at the same time I don't think he deserved to be cussed out like that.
@@TheDeglmanFamilyFarm he might have cooled off but she was clearly still upset about the situation. If someone asks you to go away multiple times even if you want to compromise you should walk away. I don't think she handled it professionally, but I think they both needed to chill out
I’m so glad Julia was called out by the judges and the canvas at the end. She was playing the victim card switching up stories and telling the exact opposite of what she was actually doing.
Some of these artists have literally no empathy for the people they're tattooing, it's crazy. Somebody's passing out from the pain and they call him a chump? I wouldn't wanna be tattooed by them either
@@BionicPig95i agree with you. Quit crying and take the pain. If not you shouldn’t be there in the first place. I did 10 hours one session. It was more boring than anything
@GlocKkandchill that's great for you, but not everyone has the same tolerance. A good artist should be considerate of their client, but I agree that the canvases shouldn't quit. How do you screen for pain tolerance tho?
I love how the Judges actually brought the canvas back and loved how Julia didn't expect to see him again and now she has a permanent tattoo and reminder of her failing this show.
This is why you must nourish and hydrate the body prior, during and afterwards the process of getting ink. Along with sleep these three things must be taken into consideration in order to prevent issues like these folks are having and to ensure you are healing properly. They all play a role into how well you do and how well the tattoo looks after is has healed.
This! I was super dehydrated when I got a tattoo on the right side of my chest and it was miserable! I have the left side of my chest done and it was so much easier.
Ur not supposed to eat before a tattoo bud u can drink water but I can’t eat before a tattoo, eat 2-3 hours before ur tattoo could be ok depending on the person, me for example I eat 3-4hours before a tattoo or I will feel dizzy and wanting to throw up but others are different when it comes to how fast ur body can process it but u should not eat before a tattoo u should give ur self hours
Sorry but if you know you are going in for a painful tattoo that has to be in a short amount of time you should know your own pain tolerance. Don’t walk into a acting all bad ass and then tap out.
problem is. each spot is different. back of my arm hurt like a mofo. back of my neck i literally fell asleep on my artist. He laughed about it. He said one minute your talking 5 minutes later I hear snoring. ( i did warn him that i had just finished a 12 hour shift at work before arriving and was tired as hell)
I think it also has to do with your attitude and adrenaline, being psyched up for the piece. It makes a huge difference in pain....you must embrace the process.
The worst for me was near the armpit. But yeah, these guys shouldn't complain, it's not as if they're getting their ribs done and people have told me that area hurts like no other
From someone who couldn't take a whole tattoo on the chest in 1 go, I understand their pain. The tattoo's pain is not an instant pain, as many people think. It's all about endurance. The more hours go by, the worse the pain gets. In the beginning, you don't feel a thing, but After hours, it feels like a razor knife.
That's interesting, for me it was more the opposite - it started off really painful but after an hour or two turns into a burning numb sensation. Funny thing is though, even though it hurts less at the numb stage, I also had trouble with shakes and hot flushes, so the body was still reacting worse as time went on just the pain got less.
@whitbywarlock I experience that delayed burn as well but once I'm at that point I kinda like it. It does make my palms sweat but I think I might be the adrenaline or something that gives me that feeling of thrill instead of pain.
Yeah dude, I just did a 6 hours work yesterday, first 4 hours were ok but the last 2 were like sooo loonnng ! Especially when he tatoos again on a spot he already did 3 hours ago. It's buuuurniiingggg 😆Or when he cleans with the fucking paperrrr ! Horrible at the end ! But I always do my pieces in one time because im too impatient to see it !
Honestly? It was the complete opposite for me. I have a chest tattoo that took 6 hours (not fully finished yet due to another tattoo currently being removed to make room) and the first hour was quite sore, but then the adrenaline took over and my body started to get accustomed to the feeling. It was definitely sore after for a few days and bruised, but it definitely wasn’t too bad. It only starts feeling rough if you take a break a few hours in because that gives your adrenaline time to wear off. Of course, people’s pain tolerance can completely vary so it’s definitely a by-person thing but it’s quite strange how different your experience is to mine.
@@whitbywarlockThe most painful part for my was the bottom of my throat around the inside of my collarbones, it also made my leg consistently tense for the whole 6 hours so I felt like I’d had a full workout on one leg the next day 😂
Julia is correct tho. It isn't about making his wish come true, for that he can go to hers tattoo place in this show he must do whatever the challenge is. Robot is not bio mechanical. Sorry bud if you want a freebie you don't get to be picky. I swear is because she is a women. If it was julio the canvas would be a karen but is popular to hate women so Julia who is 100% correct gets flamed.
If you were screwing her though you'd like it. You just don't like that she's tattooing and being aggressive. You don't like that she wouldn't bow to the big guy. That's the real problem. With that being said it was her job to accommodate her client. She was in the wrong no doubt, but her voice wasn't what made her wrong.
@@Dawn24Michele orrr it’s just an annoying voice? lmao. I’m a girl and it’s annoyingly. Regardless of gender you can still think the other sex is annoying without being sexist.

They even said that they watched the footage and he pretty be much told the truth while she lied. Not the first time they caught her lying either. She should've been sent home no matter if she inked herself or not
I love how there actually was a time when they brought Julia and the canvas back for Ink Master: Redemption, and they actually came up with a pretty cool design that both of them were satisfied with.
That's harsh man. I would never thumbs up a comment like that. The backstory of that "Bitch", is that she had a 2 1/2 hour consult with the guy, he refused to change his mind during that time, and she got fed up. He wanted robots, which wasn't the challenge, challenge was biomech which is completely different. He came back on Redemption, got the tattoo she originally wanted to give him, and actually liked the piece.
yeah, it's your job as an artist to find and do something the guy wants, if it won't turn out good, it's your job to explain why it won't work, not try to make your life easier. it's his body ffs.
Mike's client was the absolute worst. You're getting a free tattoo. Either be flexible or shut up and don't sign up for this? Good on Anthony. A great team leader.
@@desmanford4155 Like Zee said, they are free, just like at beauty schools, they often times offer up free haircuts and styling, but they may not always turn out good. I hate that the biomechanical woman tried sounding so tough to the dude who was willing to compromise and kicked him out then when she meets up with everyone else she talks in a baby voice like stfu
Couldn’t disagree more, he wanted a tattoo that didn’t meet the requirements of the challenge? Why would she spend 6 hours doing a tattoo that is a loss from the beginning? You heard her say a million times it doesn’t match the requirements. But Mr Steroids couldn’t take no for an answer. If I was her I’d tell him to go fuck himself too
Oh my God, the way Julia walked into the room and lightened her voice like she expected sympathy for being a duck to her canvas. He gave her so many chances to try to make it work.
Honestly the fact that Chris's first canvas nodded out was the best thing that could've happened given the water goddess w/ shells was a much better design than medusa.
Exactly! I have a two hour tattoo on my calf that I could hardly feel like the wiping and the healing was more painful than the actual tattoo itself and I also have a 5 mintue tattoo and it was my most painful tattoo! I will never go back to the 5 mintue artist only the two hour tattoo artist
One on my back was fine . It was more the weight of someone leaning in you which wasn't painful just numb. The needle was fine. Must have had a great hand doing mine
This was my experience. I had a back tattoo and it was so painful I couldn’t finish it and was so traumatised it took me two years to find someone else that would finish the job. The second tattooist was great and I got through it with ease! Had another tattoo on my neck that I barely even felt. Had it added to by another tattooist years later and it was excruciating!
They said it was a "mixture of xannies & 5 other pills) supposedly the girl told her that it wasn't a good idea to take that many different meds. But she did anyway... so ..idk
The dude literally wasn’t going with the concept for the challenge he wanted a straight up robot. It was very stupid seeing everyone argue with her on it
Darian Stokes he was using the term “robot” to give the artist a feel for what he wanted. He wanted some bolts and things like that, in reality anything remotely mechanical could be called bio mechanical since it’s on a human. What he wanted was actually in line with the challenge plus he was willing To compromise. The artist wasn’t able to communicate properly and also was exceptionally rude. He in no way wanted a “straight up robot” like you said
Killian O'Callaghan have a mechanical object on a human doesnt make it bio mechanical. Literally he was upset that she had what looked to be skin but he wanted metal bits only.
A robot is designed to be biomechanical. A robot arm has rods and bolts that resemble ligaments and cartilage. If she can’t recognize that than she’s stupid on top of being an arrogant artist
Julia's canvas was such a patient and nice guy. I understand her frustration, but she was beyond rude to that guy. Too bad she wasn't matched up with the bright color douche.

I don't care how good her art is, after seeing this, I would never trust her to tattoo me. While both were in the wrong to some degree, the canvas came back and cooled down and was willing to compromise. She was nasty, rude and unwilling to listen to the client. I really hope she didn't make it farther. I am also sorry to her kids that their mother is like that.
20:20 why is her voice super high pitched and soft but when someone tries to contradict her she gets all serious with a deeper feminine voice. Reminds me of my mother’s manipulation.
I hate how Julia’s voice keeps changing when she talks to different people. She talked normally to the canvas and the camera but then when she talks to the other competitors or the judges she has this nasally baby voice and then they call her out on being rude and she talks normally again
Everyone’s talking about how annoying Julia is but I hope her canvas mark still got some work done by the guys. It’d be a shame getting to come on and getting nothing I feel for the guy a lot.
Right! Isn’t the show supposed to be about finding an “ink master”? That title includes having to work with “difficult” canvases/clients with different pain tolerances
@@Natdanram If you're screaming after two lines, you shouldn't get tattooed at a TV show where there is a timelimit. I have tattoos on "difficult" places and on my first I lowkey wanted to tap out since my artist had to stop for a bit to deal with another client which made any adrenaline I had left leave. Once he came back he had to clean the open fucking wound off to be able to continue. Was it painful? Yes. Would I ever leave with half a tattoo? Hell nah. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but your tolerance isn't everything. It's honestly more mental than physical. S Zone the pain out or don't get tattooed on a bloody TV show where you will get someone sent home.
yeah anyway. They could do a much better tattoo if they sat still and weren’t screaming in pain. It’s not fair that the artists get sent home over this.
It's the artist's fault for being assholes about it though. Compassion goes a long way, and in most cases, had the artist been less of an asshole, the canvas's would have managed their pain much better
I can’t even tell what Julia’s tattoo is. It looked like one big smudge to me. But she was so rude. She could have worked with him! He was trying so hard to be patient. She was in the wrong
Honestly. I can't understand people like that, if you can't compromise on certain things with a tattoo, it isn't going to turn out well and neither the artist or the canvas will be happy with the result
She didn't like that lol. I guess she thought she could be fake sweet & they would take her word for it. I love the shocked look on her face when they brought him in!
I get that but he wouldn't listen when she said that his idea didn't meet the challenge. He didn't budge about the mechanic and bio mechanic. Wasnt she just trying to actually do the challenge she was kinda rude since hes the client but shes the one who's competing and actually trying to win something

@@beefnacos6258 Thats a huge no for me. Sometimes single mothers are ditched with their bastard child for a reason. Hint: they're horrible people and deserve it.
I don't think the producers of the show do enough to protect the Artists from bad canvases. Examples virgin skin wanting a massive rib tattoo all because its free. Or the person showing up on an empty stomach and passing out. Or like that one girl that passed out before even being touched, stoned on something.
The problem is that all the canvases lie to get a better chance at a good tattoo. If you say you're willing to accept anything, it's a high risk/high reward thing... Absolutely no one is going to say that they don't take pain well, that's just guaranteed to send you straight back home. There are instances were the producers could have done a better job, like when the master canvas Cleen used to win his season, IIRC had said that his entire torso was "clean", but he had a tattoo of a rat on his left pec, and managed to hide it somehow when inspected. Cleen managed to cover it up nicely, but that was an extra problem for him that the show's team could have prevented by being more vigilant. (I might remember some details incorrectly, but I think it was something like that) And sometimes the producers can't do much, like the chick who popped some downers before her tattoo and passed out, how could the producers have prevented that? It takes a couple seconds to pop some pills, and if you're discreet you can do it anywhere. It's not like rolling & smoking a joint, or cooking up a shot. Or if someone tells you they just had a big meal, you can't force them to eat a sandwich in front of you to make sure... And usually they do have emergency canvases in case of a tap out, but not always apparently.
@@InkAndPoet I would argue that is exactly their job. To give each artist the best chance at winning. Sure there are some things you can't protect them from the example Randall used is perfect someone popping pills 5 minutes before show time. But there has to be some level of common sense. Again I'll use my previous example. Virgin skin wanting a huge rib piece. With the time limit there is no way an artist is going to get a clean tattoo out of that canvas. And those canvases/people should be instantly turned away. Like the one artist said (can't remember who) If they where in the own shop and had all the time needed they could get a solid tattoo out of a person wanting something like in my example. Where you could have the person do repeat visits etc etc. 5 minutes of research on google could tell you everywhere a first timer isn't recommended to get a first tattoo. Ribs, ditches, palm of the hand. That some of the common sense the producers should be following when accepting people as a canvas. Would also prevent some of the jacked up tattoos some of these people end up getting. Since all of these artists are playing for 100k and putting their reputations on the line. Cause let's face it one jacked up tattoo could ruin their entire career. I think they could do a better job of protecting the artists. As Randall also pointed out. Cleen having to do the cover up as part of his master canvas. He should of refused. Dude lied to get basically a free cover up and a free tattoo that in the real world would of cost 1000s. I would of called the producers and asked for a replacement and kick the dude to the curb.

Tim Berland again, sometimes it is the artists fault. (See my earlier comment)

Client pain tolerances should be tested before theyre allowed to be canvases on the show... It would also help to gauge if the artist is being too rough. It's unfair for artists who get canvases with low pain tolerances.

I fully agree. Each of mine I knew what I was going into from the jump.
I think some of them had a pain tolerance before, as they had tattoos previously on them (and not small ones, but ones of decent sizes). “I hate getting tattooed” says the dude covered in tattoos... I feel that. I have maybe 60 hours and they all suck.
What do getting tatto feel like?
@@TenThumbsProductions I did 6hours on my thigh. First 3 hours were a breeze. Last hour was torture. Good thing thigh is not very painful place
Julia’s canvas got lucky not getting that Horrendous thing on his arm.

1) Julia putting on a weird innocent voice is so creepy.
2) How is what he was asking for not biomechanical?
She either couldn't do it or just didn't want to do it
Yeah he's the bio part lol.
@@TexasRDA she could’ve at least acted like she was gonna meet in the middle
@@TexasRDA I might be wrong in what I think it is but if it is done right what he wanted would have worked. While it sounds robotic if she put it in the right spot, which she didn't do in a lot of other challenges, it could of looked like veins nerves or bones almost replacing that part of his arm.

This is why you must nourish and hydrate the body prior, during and afterwards the process of getting ink. He said one minute your talking 5 minutes later I hear snoring. ( i did warn him that i had just finished a 12 hour shift at work before arriving and was tired as hell)
That aint no shit where it hurt me the worst is my thigh
I think it also has to do with your attitude and adrenaline, being psyched up for the piece. It makes a huge difference in pain....you must embrace the process.
Exactly

Yeah it is the worst fake voice I have ever heard
Bitch Fuckyou 😂😂
Couldn’t disagree more, he wanted a tattoo that didn’t meet the requirements of the challenge? Why would she spend 6 hours doing a tattoo that is a loss from the beginning? You heard her say a million times it doesn’t match the requirements. But Mr Steroids couldn’t take no for an answer. If I was her I’d tell him to go fuck himself too
And she thought she could lie lol
I laughed so hard when she came out with that fake squeaky baby voice to try and play the poor sweet innocent
Oh my God, the way Julia walked into the room and lightened her voice like she expected sympathy for being a duck to her canvas. He gave her so many chances to try to make it work.
Quack
Exactly. When I heard her voice get higher, I really said "oh hell.."
at least showing them makes the show feel less setup and scripted.
I know! It was so Ducking Hilarious!
IKR LMFAO
Julia can't be *that* bad ...
I take it back. She's *T H A T* bad
me when I first watched these videos and saw all the comments about her vs now after actually seeing her
She played the whole my daughter is counting on me shit and tried to use it to treat him however she wanted. Bad trait.

Me before watching the video: she can’t be as bad as the comments say she is.
Edit: yeah she is that bad
Honestly the fact that Chris's first canvas nodded out was the best thing that could've happened given the water goddess w/ shells was a much better design than medusa.
I love him for being able to adapt and overcome the way he did! :$
Yeah it’s just an example of everything happens for a reason
5:54 "what am i supposed to do, tattoo my buttcrack?!" 🤣🤣
I’ve had a four hour tattoo feel like a breeze and a 30 minute tattoo feel like unending hell! Sometimes the artist’s hand makes a difference.
I had a 1/2 hour tattoo on my wrist which was soo painful, then I’ve had a 3 hour tattoo on my back shoulder blade and I was fine
That is so true! My first tattoo hur like hell, but my other four barely hurt. Changing tattoo artist was my best choice ever..
The girl "sleeping "was actually high on opiates
They said it was a "mixture of xannies & 5 other pills) supposedly the girl told her that it wasn't a good idea to take that many different meds. But she did anyway... so ..idk
Its so obvious
How did you find out?
The canvasses should be tested for drugs or alcohol. It's not good to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol when getting tattoos.
No shit
Seeing that client come back to give his side was so satisfying. She was so unprofessional and rude.
Julie's baby voice is something else.... She is MENTAL 🤣🤣🤣
Julia's canvas was such a patient and nice guy. I understand her frustration, but she was beyond rude to that guy. Too bad she wasn't matched up with the bright color douche.
Such a patient and nice guy? He kept talking down to her and telling her what to do...

I think it was concluded that she had been taking sleeping pills. Possibly to be able to sit a bit better during the process. But then instead, that happened :/
She looked it, too. Either that or a seizure/aneurysm/stroke. I imagine that was a bit frightening for everyone but her.
they just pull anyone off the street and call them a canvas XD
Ya think.
Some of these people have no business being tattoo artists. This is a people industry. You need to be compassionate and respectful.
Yeah they are real aholes (some). If they were nicer I am sure some people would stay. Also people getting tattoos should have had at least a few already so they would know what they are getting into. Also candy always helps when your sugar level drops :)

I don't care how good her art is, after seeing this, I would never trust her to tattoo me. it's not the artist's fault that 'canvases' have different pain tolerance
Zone the pain out or don't get tattooed on a bloody TV show where you will get someone sent home.
Yeah and they blame the tattooist like they're being too rough some people just can't handle it
yeah anyway. They could do a much better tattoo if they sat still and weren’t screaming in pain. It’s not fair that the artists get sent home over this.
It's the artist's fault for being assholes about it though. Compassion goes a long way, and in most cases, had the artist been less of an asshole, the canvas's would have managed their pain much better
props to anthony who let his teammate tattoo him after his canvas left even thought he hates getting tattooed
The dude is a class act. Helluva artist to.

A biomechanical tattoo is a form of body art that melds the human you with machine in the form of tattoo imagery of machine or robotic parts.

I covered the entire top of my foot. I thought I had a high pain tolerance but it was 2 1/2 hours of needle work and I barely made it through that last 30 minutes. My foot was swollen and puffed up so much that there was only this 1 pair of flip flops I could wear for 2 weeks! It was worth it though.

Well, that's not really their job.
(I might remember some details incorrectly, but I think it was something like that)
And sometimes the producers can't do much, like the chick who popped some downers before her tattoo and passed out, how could the producers have prevented that? It takes a couple seconds to pop some pills, and if you're discreet you can do it anywhere.
It's not like rolling & smoking a joint, or cooking up a shot.
Or if someone tells you they just had a big meal, you can't force them to eat a sandwich in front of you to make sure...
And usually they do have emergency canvases in case of a tap out, but not always apparently.
@@randallflagg3700 you got the details right about Cleen's canvas.
@@InkAndPoet - Cheers o/
