Can you show reference where cherry blossoms work with w a koi fish swimming up against the current?

@@sbshahin hi yes here’s a reference of it and to answer your question the common flowers are lotus flowers, cherry blossoms, and maple leaves(only in fall theme) www.kodamakoifarm.com/koi-fish-tattoo/#:~:text=The%20combination%20of%20traditional%20Koi,the%20fleeting%20beauty%20of%20life.

Cherry blossoms shouldn’t go with a koi. It’s a spring flower. The koi spawns in the fall

Your correct usually lotus flowers will go with Koi but however According to Japanese and Chinese folklore cherry blossoms and koi are the main theme in the golden gate story of china (which is where the koi fish comes) it’s symbolic for harmony. This is based on the Chinese story that influenced Japanese tattoo culture. Thank you and don’t forget to share my content and subscribe

I see them tattooed together more often than less likely, even with AAA Artists who profession in Traditional Japanese

@@sbshahin yes because it’s based on the ancient Chinese story called the golden gate (koi turns into the dragon) the cherry blossom symbolizes change and temporary changes resurrection so that’s why you see it together

@@KevinTheNavigator1 appreciate all the fast replies, i am planning a sleeve, and on my sketch i wanted a koi fish swimming upwards with Sakura then came couple of guys saying that they dont go together since the koi spawns in fall and the sakura blooms in spring, had to pause the entire project thinking i was doing something wrong 😑

@@sbshahin no your fine your not doing anything wrong. Yes get your koi with cherry blossom they traditionally go together. Those people are saying that from a western perspective and not the traditional Japanese story.
