How proud to be a gooner 😊 I'm 64 and bin a gooner for 54 years and wen I been low they bin there and if I'm up I'm higher walking down the hill seeing the East stand every time was a buzz . Thank you Arsenal for being there for me 😢😢 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Highbury, the true home of the Arsenal. Where memoreis, history, and legends were made. The Emirates, or Ashburton Grove as it should have been named, still doesn't feel like home to this day. It's just not, Arsenal enough. The current name doesn't help, but the feeling of the place is, false. The clock end needs to be distinctive from the rest of the stadium, and more historical Arsenal references need to be paced around the ground. The original Woolwich Arsenal badge of the early 1900's should be emblazoned on the seating as it was at Highbury.
Ce stade dans sa configurations final était magnifique. Pour moi le plus beau des stade anglais. Comment ont peu prendre la décision d abattre ça. Maintenant ont se retrouve avec des stades fermés sans âme et sans style type emirate.
was never actually called 'Highbury' ..thats where it was...the real name of the Stadium was in full view on the main stand...'The Arsenal stadium'..just as West Ham never played at 'Upton park'....that was the area...their ground was 'The Boleyn' ground
tony coatsworth Most people will know that but how often would you hear commentators say ‘now we are going over to The Arsenal Stadium’ it was always Highbury.
tony coatsworth no shit most stadiums are named after the area they are in that’s how it should be! It sounds stupid saying where at “Liverpool FC stadium” instead of “Anfield”! Naming a stadium after area or club legend will always beat naming a stadium after a club sponsor like “The Emirates” or “Bet 365 Stadium”
Quite simply the most beautiful football stadium ever
The photo 'Late 1960s Matchday' is one of the best I can remember of any ground. So good to see the mass of people attending and the elegant stands
this stadium is classic
Greatest club in the world !! Up the Gunners !!!!
Super cool video bro !!!!

That stunning Art Deco Architecture...It would have been better if they had demolished it, than converting it into the hideous mess it is now .

1913, unfinished Highbury opens. Sums Arsenal up really even back then, never finishing the job.
Ben Mapp Spurs would like to have a word...
That would be more the case with Spurs number of appearances they’ve had ín semi finals and finals and never winning anything, mug
Just the 13 titles you mug.
Wdym finish the job ? We’ve got 13 league titles and 14 FA cups 😂
And know, standard Stadium and crapy team.
