Neck is lookin nice !
I am not a shredder, I don’t have a desire to shred or even listen to people shred. But, as someone that has been playing a very long time and unfortunately developed some major issues with my fretting hand, I find Bernth’s exercises and ergonomics to be very helpful and keeps these old hands moving.
You: you damn new fangled kids and your wango-bango -
me: shreds*
Yeah, he's super good at what he does. I don't even think I know a complete single scale and I already have at least five albums out on UA-cam and do my own solos and everything. You don't need to know one single scale to play something for a feeling...just sayin'
Halfway through commenting I noticed this vid was 2 years old lol. Deleted it and still wanted to say, as a fellow guitarist who has had fretting hand problems I hope you were able to overcome them and keep playing. Good luck.
I owe you a huge debt of gratitude, BERNTH. I've played guitar for most of my life and my erratic picking hand has held me back throughout it all. Just 2 days after discovering your videos and I'm playing alternate picked runs I couldn't have dreamed of before! I love the macroscopic detail you go into - it's just what I need, and I'm hooked. Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much for taking the time to share that, happy I could help 🙂🤘
I’m very proud of you
Started watching your lessons around a month ago, absolute legend!
Insightful lesson! Was also fun participating in the collab, thanks for having us on Bernth!
I only write to thanks your job and to tell you I'm glad that you share your talent with us. I play guitar since 15 and now I'm 45... I got stuck without any progress. Recently started to watch your instructive videos and I'm progressing a lot again :) I consider to be Patron to suport you.
dude this is such great information. thanks very much. merry christmas bernth
love the shred collab as usual! ive been working with the phrygian scale this week too lol
It's crazy how much I learn from this channel, despite never wanting to actually play the style of music BERNTH plays lol
I'm pretty sure that's a sign of a great teacher.
every time i see your videos i feel really inspired to pick up the guitar and start writing, i don't know how you do it but its amazing!
This lesson is the essence of thinking "outside the box". Thanks, Bernth!

Love from Nepal sir lots of love, support, respect. Thanks for your information🥰😍
Thank you, very interesting
I am so grateful for your tutelage
You do such amazing and helpful videos and you are even doing in a 2nd language which makes it even better (your English is great and MUCH better than my German, even after being married to a German lady for almost 30 years lol). I have been trying to play since i was 14 and im 50 now lol. I am not good at all, but i have fun. I try and pick out helpful techniques to practice, but so hard to to through everything and try and pick out what i am able to do, but I am trying. Thank youi so much for your videos and your help and advice. THIS old man really appreciates you greatly.
Bernth, you must be very proud of those students! What an accomplishment! Well done!

The cool old people really inspire me for some reason! Imma go get my guitar and start practicing!
Yea nice work dude. I practice the pentatonics on just two adjacent strings up n down the neck, works wonders to break up the patterns
Your lesson help guitars from all over the world. From Russia ♥️
Greetings all the way to Russia! :)
Very helpful tricks 👏 love fron India!!
Best guitar training teacher EVERRRR!!
You are going to be my first Patreon subscription. I'm tired of playing stuff that's within my safe zone.
You are the best man
Oh boy I can't wait to get this left hand together 🎸🤘🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥

thank you
the best master!! :)
10:23 Love the "protective" message..... ;)
Let the shredding begin 🎸🤘🎸🔥💯
no wonder he plays so fast with all that redbull behind him 😅 thats the secret
The *secret* is constant practice. That is why Bernth is so good...👍
@@quinetastic there’s always someone who ruins the joke like you did now🤦🏻♂️
@@IshredGuitar DNA and good genes are important, but not as important as constant practice.
@@diegogomez7350 What? The "joke" is not ruined. Bernth is a great guitar player with or without Red Bull...
@@quinetastic CaiSmith made his comment in a sense of humor and you came to ruin the joke with your seriousness, get it?
tq so much
Great compilat. in the end of video ))
4.5 years of playing, 3NPS to me meant the full scale. Had never thought about a 3 NPS pentatonic. Mind blown Bernth.
Thanks Bernth
As a complete beginner .....it's help a lot. I feel like a rockstar :-)
Thanks for this video! I'm instantly "down" for anything that's gets me out of position/box playing.
thanks Bernth
GRACIAS POR AYUDAR A EXPANDIR LOS LIMITES👌👌👌👌
Thanks BERNTH.
Walking back down I always find the hardest part in these shifting patterns so I learn it in steps: first bundled in a group of 3 strings, then 2 strings and then a shift per string transition. Can give you 3 times as much inspiration...or frustration 😂
Everyone should be following BERNTH! (IMHO). His Patreon page is one of the best I’ve seen (and subscribe to!) on the Internet!
Thanks for another great lesson! 👏🎼🎸
Do the same thing for Harmonic Minor ....cheers from Indonesia
That would be badass
+1 :)
Wers the videos link pls😁
@@riffsfromtheabyss666 that’s actually the formula for a yngwie scale run
fun stuff
Jesus !!! And I thought I was improving because I just nailed the intro to SMOKE ON THE WATER
@BERNTH Hey man, what pedal/amp was your VIP Shredder, Bjorn Visser using to get that sound? If you don't know could you ask him? I am looking for that! Also, I subscribed! Thanks!!!
Nice
GREAT LESSON!!more killer licks pls😈🔥 upload the ba king track pls so i can practice allday 6:36 thank BERNTH😈🤘
Oh Asome sir🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸playing
Thank you for sharing all these good stuff!
What if we add a 4th (4nps) note using tapping?
Nevermind, you already did it, lol
11:07 Such a beautiful looking Ibanez guitar
Why you stopped saying "What's up, UA-cam community? Bernth here!". I loved that intro.
"Out of hand" is a good way to describe 4 NPS with 1 hand. Nice pun.
Your Video make me motivate Even My finger sucks in shereding
Time to buy that finger stretcher
You have to excuse me I played one of my favorite songs on the guitar I finally got a mental understanding of scales. And music and molds so I'm extra excited so you'll have to pardon me or not 🤘🎼🎵🎵🎵 🎵🎵 I have new 👂🔥
To my concern, this is the best pentatonic lesson in the history of youtube?
by the way, did I mention that I quit music for many years,I listened to Elevation and decided to buy a guitar and start playing again. thanks for the inspiration Bernth
thanks for including subtitles. youtube is playing through my amp and i cant turn off dat crunch
Poland loves you
