I never understood why everybody calling it crankcase filter. It is no filtering material inside almost impossible be clogged. The impeller inside the box is spined by the oil pressure. Box have two functions. #1. Creating vacuum to crankcase sucking blow-by out #2. The spinning disc inside (driven by oil pressure) separate engine oil from blow-by and sending back to crankcase. If have any sludge or metal shavings build up in the oil channel blocking oil flow impeller speed drastically reduced and trigger the be loved yellow light. On the dd engine's hard to see small blow-by on the oil filter cap. Disconnect crankcase filter😂 hose from engine block and you will see the smallest blow-by. Waiting for the next video. Keep up the good work✌️✌️✌️
Make sure the bracket the sensor sits on isnt bent away from the housing.... push the brackt against the housing and im sure the rpms will go up to normal
@@CarlosDieselElectric I have the nexiq plus I could use my phone Wi-Fi to connect. But it be great if u or Francisco Amaya could do remote diagnostic, I do not trust florida shops.
Recently replaced my oil cooler on a vw golf r/s3 2015 plate (I snapped 1 of the 4 bolts putting it back in) reckon I’ve damaged the seal? Still get oil around my coolant bottle
@@CarlosDieselElectric thanks I’ll give a ago then. Didn’t think it was good when I saw the bolt snap, heart sunk I’ll do a compression test first to see if it’s nothing internally
Have questions sir, i havent change the crank case but i got oil residue coming out i felt my truck gas pedel gets hard to accelerate most of the time i feel my left drive tires feels hiccup /hesitation when i give the gas what you think? Thank you
Cold oil: Approximately 60 psi idle Hot oil: Approximately 15-20 psi idle Driving, approximately 50-55 psi. I could be off a little on the hot, but generally speaking. This is where you should be
@@jorgefacio690 try simple things first. New oil pressure sensor. Oil change is always good. When you start the engine when the temp is cold. What is the PSI?
The most important quality you look for in a mechanic is honesty.

Can you remotely do a compression test
I don’t believe so, unless you have some sort of portal or internet connection with someone who has the software.

See if that improves crankcase filter should be changed as part of the maintenance.

What is normal oil pressure @ idle
And what is normal oil pressure while driving 65mph
Cold oil:
Approximately 60 psi idle
Hot oil:
Approximately 15-20 psi idle

Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link. It can be purchased from Nexiq.
Have a question if I change speed sensor on the crank case filter do I need to program or will it do by it self
@@ericdona750 It will by itself, plug and play.
