In today's video, I'm going to take a closer look at the Eagle Network Cryptocurrency app, a new application that just launched recently in 2021 and aims to create a new cryptocurrency called "Eagle" that you can "mine" on your phone by simply pressing a button once per day.

The Eagle Network app, at its core, appears to be nothing else but a visually improved version of the Pi and Bee Network application, combining all features of those two apps into one and adding a few unique features in addition like the "Daily Spinner" that allows you to win Eagle coins once per day.
Just like Pi and Bee, Eagle Network requires you to open the app and press a button once per day to receive Eagle coins (the future Eagle Network cryptocurrency) for the next 24 hours, and just like the other apps Eagle Network provides you with a few ways to increase the number of coins that you receive per hour.
1. You can increase your Eagle per hour "mining" rate by inviting new users to Eagle Network.
2. You can - eventually - set up something similar to Pi Network's security circle.
3. You can - eventually - run an Eagle Network node.
4. You can pay to increase your "level" and already receive more Eagle Network Cryptocurrency coins per hour.
Based on all of that we already notice that Eagle Network isn't the revolutionary idea it claims to be but a simple copy of Pi Network with in-app purchases to make money of its users.
Unfortunately, the red-flags surrounding Eagle Network doesn't stop there, because even the Eagle Network Cryptocurrency white-paper appears to be a slightly modified copy of Pi Networks' white-paper making it likely that Eagle Network is nothing else but a scam that aims to:
- make money based on ad revenue by showing ads to users in the app (something I didn't notice during my test but assume applies because all similar projects we know also include advertising)
- make money by getting users to pay for increased mining rates.
My opinion, therefore, is that Eagle Network Cryptocurrency is a scam and simply tries to profit from the current hyper around legitimate projects like Pi Network to enrich the company or people behind the application.
At this point, the only positive aspect of the Eagle Network application is that the app doesn't ask for unnecessary permissions.

It's like they're deliberately targeting your elderly father who fell for email scams in the 90s. The whole appeal of Pi is that "whales" can't just buy in pre-launch, and hoard it cheap.

Exactly my point. Showing ads to make revenue is ok because it doesn't harm users in any way and is for sure enough to fund development, asking for in-app purchases is just such a sign of greed and the biggest red-flag a project like this can have in my opinion.
Hi Christian, once again another good review ! Just as with Reflex Cloud Mining, I also do not see an option in Eagle Network for a password reset etc. Also, these two apps lack in multiple functionalities vs PI Network. My question: All the people that invested their time and effort to collect these tokens and then eventually decided to uninstall the app (albeit maybe having lots or minimum tokens that you cannot withdraw), what will happen with "all those tokens" that stays "unclaimed" after apps were uninstalled ? I suppose if you uninstall it does not mean the same as actually deleting your account, so the tokens for an "uninstalled app" should remain "somewhere" for the user when the app is installed again at some time ?
That would depend on if your "coin" balance is stored only locally on your phone (which would make sense if the project is just a scam) or if there is an online database that keeps track of things.
Hello, yesterday I cannot mine on Eagle network, because the app was in down. Today when I try to enter in the app, I have to do a new registration. So is my first account deleted?

Nah, I have a few apps, the best place to stay up to date on what I'm doing would actually be our Discord server (link would be in the video description), but right now I'm using:
- Pi Network
- Bee Network
- TimeStope
- AIBox (very early stage, no opinion yet if it's legit)
- GEOcash
- Sweatcoin (not a crypto but I like it)
- Midoin (considering it again after initially deciding against it, likely going to publish a video about it tomorrow).

Yes, the missing iOS version is a red-flag, but unlike many other projects they are very transparent about who's behind the project, already have a KYC process that is currently being rolled out, and users can already transfer so called sTime between each other. So all the progress and positive aspects for sure outweigh the concerns I have because there isn't an iOS version yet.

The problem regarding Pi is in order for user to claim they need to verify, and this only applicable to only a few countries. Which mean not many people from other countries can claim

There is a huge difference between Bee Network that copied the structure but is otherwise an independent project with a lot of evidence showing that it's legit as you can see in ua-cam.com/video/CJrwO78HfA0/v-deo.html and Eagle Network with literally no evidence that would suggest it's legit and even copied the white paper almost entirely from Pi Network.

Test Flight is the common way to test your iOS apps before they get listed on the app store. BUT since the missing iOS app is just one of the "red flags" on my list I don't think it makes any difference.

Just make sure that you don't just re-upload videos of others and don't give up if you don't gain fews for the first few month.
It took me 14 months with this channel to reach 1,000 subscribers and I'm more than happy that I didn't give up along the way.
Watching this video now shows that if you want to succeed in crypto, you should not make financial decisions base on what one individual says. No matter who they are, they can be subjective in their analysis. We can never rule that out. everyone needs to know how to do their own due diligence.

AFAIK the first one (RAK v2) should arrive either in March or April, but I also ordered 2x Nebra Outdoor hotspots that should be shipped in June.

Doesn't matter performance should be pretty identical. For the RAK v2 you can find a 5% discount code in my Helium video description thought. So I'd just compare the price and estimated delivery date.
For outdoor I'd, however, recommend Nebra because their case is certified to operate in a wider temperature range and you can buy stronger antennas for that hotspot in their store as well (links to the antennas are also in my Helium video description).

@@Upfitt I plan to document the whole setup from unboxing to installation once I get my hotspot, but as far as I can tell it's quite straightforward. Download the Helium app and follow the instructions on the screen.

Not sure if they still do but Anycoindirect.com might offer that option, althought I'm not sure how good the offered exchanges rates there are.

I'm aware, they also made a few other updates. I'm keeping an eye on the app, but considering how it started it will take more than that for me to change my mind from "likely waste of time" to "opportunity you don't want to miss"
As of now the "subs" or power ups have ended, they are moving to the next phase and soon an other 50% cut in mining Eagle.

i joined their telegram, the admin and the team seems suspicious, like when someone criticize about the legitimate project, they seems mad, and angry, they event don't answer the question just abuse the people who asking it for spread negativity, like when somebody asking abt the white paper why so much copy/paste text to text with pi and bee, they just bring us another question.. LOL its abt time when the people behind it get a lot money and escape, orrrr.... make it to money game or ponzi scheme

I won't invest a penny into the project. The moment you invest money you have the risk of losing it in case the project fails.
As long as you only invest the few seconds of your time to press the button you can't really lose anything.
BUT that's just my opinion, you'll have to decide for yourself.

Haven't looked at it yet, but looks promising on first glance.
Always ask yourself, what do you have to lose. If you don't have to invest any money and it doesn't take up too much time you can always "take the risk" in my opinion.
If you are worried about your personal data you could also consider investing $50 to $100 in a cheap second Android phone just to run apps you aren't sure about.

Eagle network is a miner network. Where it has a telegram channel, a community believers, admin... If this is just a copycat of pi network, then all mining network is scam as you say.
Can't argue with that logic. So if I publish an app, copy more or less the entire whitepaper of another crypto project, don't show any proof that my project is legit, you'd still be happy to join as long as there is also a Telegram or Discord channel?
Sorry, but unless there are huge changes and updates by Eagle Network my opinion stays unchanged => the project is very likely a scam.
I don’t like pi, but if you really want to do one of these it’s the only one that has a chance of at-least releasing a crypto.
I don't fully agree. Pi sure is the one that's very close to the finish line, but so it TimeStope IMHO.

Main problem with these type of crypto is that they rely on the gimmick of mobile mining which is a flawed concept compared to server pc’s. They also all seem to aim to be straight currency’s which isn’t a use case that brings anything new to the space, so if they do deliver I still doubt would reach very high market caps as there are many established alternatives
@@Leebftw One of the often overlooked differences that is quite important is the fact that every human being can only have one account to "mine" those coins, so - unlike BTC, ETH,... - it's not possible for a corporation or wealthy person to just set up a mining operation and gain an unfair advantage just because they already have more money.
@@ChristianRauchenwald pi ruined its fairness by having the rewards decrease the later your get in. With something like bitcoin when the halvening happens everyone loses mining rate, so everyone is equally rewarded based off what they bring to the network at any given time, but pi if it was to let’s say to become an adopted currency would have an elite class of people who got in early that can never be matched by design but don’t actually offer more value to the network.

Pretty simple if I don't see a withdrawal option I'm dropping it..... they want to stop being looked at as scammers then all they have to do is add a greyed out withdrawal option that unlocks after a set amount of mining......... but also pie didn't have a wallet till now and it's still in testing.... So I won't delete Eagle Miner just yet...... I would grab a bunch of miners together and tell Eagle Network that if they don't add a withdraw option we're dropping the app...... if not call them a data collection fraud scheme and post a damning article
Nothing wrong with using apps as long as you don't have to spend real money on them.
I, however, wouldn't judge an app based on the option to withdraw or not, since that is the last feature for every new cryptocurrency, since it requires a working blockchain for that crypto + wallets that support that blockchain + at least one exchange that decides to list the coin/token.
@@ChristianRauchenwald yes but it's the length of time that the withdrawal hasn't been existent and eagle seems to have been around awhile without ever riding one to the point where I think pi has been around for a shorter time
