This setup is amazing. Render times for sequences are now possible, from 80 hours to 9 hours for 150 frames, seriously thank you!

Hey Paul i must say this was VERY helpfull for me! Im working on a 3d animation for this kids channel and i have this intro scene of a museum, the originsl shot was taking more than 1hr per frame using vray sun lights but i managed to lower it to 6min with regular vray lights and some tweaks but with this vid i got it under 4min per frame with better results! Thank you so much! Also dont you like to use the ram player in max for image comparisons? Subed a thx again for this!
Man, seriously, thanks for this :D
very helpful,
Love this, but how many subdivs in reflect did you have or in the lights?
no problem, spread the word about the video!
Can you put here some screenshots to we know how is all changes if you do?
Don't you ever get to the point where increasing you're max subdivision doesn't change the quality and its the color threshold that's holding you back?
Thanks, this tutorial are very useful for learning.I am beginner,If anybody have 3D max learning ebook(or) website address, could you share to me.
