This is 💯 correct. I rather stay in my feminine energy. Don't want to be masculine and don't want him to be feminine.
I've been invited by women to go out for lunch and I still paid the bill mainly because it made me feel like the leader and protector!
Some of you only heard the money part and blanked out the rest after ‘ability and initiative’ the bill was an example not the crux.
TOTALLY agree. its NOT about the money....the woman can always cook a meal or buy him something in return...its about him nurturing you!
Can...yes " would"? is rather the word.. possibility is not probability..so he pays , he is nurturing you.. yet, you pay is then not nurturing him..cause of course, it should be only one way..

I don't like splitting bills for any reason. I prefer to pay the lot if I have invited someone, no matter how many people attend. If someone invites me out, I expect the same. We all have a feminine and masculine that likes to be cared for. Take gender out of it.

@brofessormex I don't agree that anybody is a bum just because they can't pay. I was unable to for several years but I didn't ask anyone to take me out to dinner then either. What I don't agree with is being asked out and then being expected to pay.

When my boyfriend kept taking me out for dinner I realized that my part was to Cook us dinner. It’s still this way and we’ve been married 26 years.

I’m odd in that I prefer to split the bill if I don’t know you well or it’s the first couple dates, so I don’t feel like I owe anything if it’s not really working. After that I feel like if you plan it, you should pay. And if you’re married it doesn’t matter, it’s the same money.
On first date, as a men I try to pay.
But I want her to at least pretent to wanting to pay.
And I want her apparition for me paying.
If she don't say thank you, that's the last date.
I'd rather eat my meal in solitude without any men or people around me. I'm paying my own bill and I don't have to put up with other people's baggage.
Dont give them ideas to be children. Just do what is right. Your feelings isnt always trustworthy. You should be focused on the person not the money.

Thats funny, they seem awfully selective of when they are in that feminin energy...also, who splits the bill when youre in a relationship? Its both their money anyway lol. Most women arent in that energy now days anyway. And guys picking for a woman and acting like male energy are shunned. Men and wiomen have both energies, and this fluctuates all the time and is higher and lower in different people. So I get what youre saying, but you make women sound like robots with no thoughts. Meek women with no opinions arent attractive anyway. I dont want to date a sidekick child, I want a woman that can do everything independently. I am a legitimate woman if I did not initiate. I will suffer and be sad, but I cannot initiate because of my shame of my masculinity and fear of rejection. For this reason, I suffer daily because I cannot initiate and talk to the guy I am in love with because of fear. I was told that I am a girl and he should talk to me, not the girl. But I act like I don't want to talk to him. In fact, I want to, but I'm very afraid.

They know they "change their mind like underwear" and it makes them insecure. A man needs to take that insecurity by knowing what he wants. And he shows that for example by paying for her. This man gets paid to say a bunch of nonsense. A woman can be feminine and have a say about the restaurant she wants to go to. Why the man should say where is she going to eat? They both should agree what restaurant they want to go. And it is nice that the woman offers to pay sometimes. Splitting the bill is tacky but paying for the whole dinner on the second date is something a woman should do.
