SO DO I :-) ..I am 47..this first time I ever heard this song was on the school cafeteria juke box back in the 70s..I was instantly hooked..and still am addicted to this song .I play it at least twice every single day..sometimes more..sometimes I just put it on repeat :-) GREAT SONG. XX Kirk.Montreal, Canada
The blueprint for most, if not all, disco/dance music! Cowley and Moroder were way ahead of their time. Donna does total justice to the track and it is rightly considered to be the most iconic dance track of all-time. No amount of messing-about-with can alter the fact that this IS the greatest of all mixes of Moroder and Donna's song. Cowley and Donna must be having a ball in the after-life!! God bless you both. Bierney45 X.
Patrick Cowley....The ''Creator'' of techno sound. A visionary that should never be forgotten. Donna Summer, there was no other artist that could uplift the soul of Patrick Cowley's sound.
a glorious 15 mins - thanx.! i bought it on vinyl at time of release but moved 5 yrs ago & had to give my records to a friend i'm out of contact with now. v happy u uploaded it. wonderful piece of disco exuberance :)
Totally awesome. I forgot how much I really, really enjoyed Donna's music. R.I.P. dear Donna. You were a trailblazer and absolutely the Queen of Disco.
My best Discoqueen Donna Summer sings one of her best hits. She really is number ONE if we are looking for woman to Discothequee. I have in my past years gotta have luck to own all those albums. Love still - never die.
this version was a revered piece if vinyl among all us DJ's....hard to come buy in the 80's & 90's....still in my collection of vinyl....stunning electronics...used to love usin' this one to open a club nite...really intoxicated the early crowd even before they finished their first drink... dance floor was movin'...just signed sealed and delivered an awesome nite...!!!!
Mick Hucknall used to spin this for us at Manchester Poly, Black Rythms Night. You could go and get a pint and come back for another dance. Awesome, thanks Mick.
Fantástica a performance desta fera em tecno; o mega Patrick cowley, ficou um arrazo esta musica Donna Summer, vale a pena curtir, é best!!! Grato Erwinhozu pela postagem!!!
during poker tournys when im starting to lose momentum i put this song on repeat and go into the zone...predator mode devoid of emotion....great state of mind to have at the table....thank you Donna Summers...did u ever think u would get props in this manner?...lol. love ya.
Electronic dance, especially Patrick Cowley's productions, got it's position in the Dutch underground dance. The Mindwarp album was available through import channels back in 1982.And bam!!! There was Patrick's rework on "I feel love"!!!!! There was so litle known about his background...only to learn that he got "mysteriously " ill of an unknown dissease back then. And eventually died...His relatively short carreer left a "lifetime"impact on electronic dance...
LICHA SERAS EL ORGULLO DE LOS TRUJILLANOS,PERO LOS CHICLAYANOS TAMBIEN SOMOS TUS MAS FERVIENTES ADMIRADORES,SIEMPRE TE RECORDAMOS VISITANOS Y DELEITANOS CON TU ARMONIOSA VOZ,SALUDOS Y HASTA PRONTO.
i bought this record when it first came out in 1982. still sounds amazing now. you can find it on her The Journey - The very best Of Donna Summer double CD compilation from 2003.
I am not talking about Electronic music, I am talking about EDM (Electronic DANCE Music) which was definitely invented by Moroder with this song here, I Feel Love back in 1977!
donna yr music lives foreva . u rip u beautifull being . Iv bn playing this 15min track of rhythmn pulsing version since i bought it many moons ago. iv played it in arobics class at parties even to just come back to life ...... ooo0oOoh i feel love spreading the love to awesome artists like madonna who made it her secret bronski beat ft mark almon did a kick ass version . i definatly feel love ror the music .
Anyway, Moroder invented it because "Space - Magic Fly" uses normal instruments too and "I Feel Love" is the first purely synthesized Electronic Dance song, also the percussions and everything.
Thanks dude! I had this on 45. I had a copy from earlier 90's gotten from p2p and can not for the life of me find it. Too many hard drives. Too many computers since 96. Is this not a later (maybe 80's) version of the original? It still has me going back in time and in need of a cold shower or drink.
Well, Didier Marouani & Space released "Magic Fly" in 1977 as well, so I'd say he also played a pretty significant role in giving birth to EDM. I don't mean to diss Giorgio at all, and I'm a big fan of his music; I'm just trying to show how 1977 was a significant year for EDM, see?
This was the peak song on a Saturday night in the fun house at about 3 in the morning

This tune so far ahead of its time
One of the truly great Disco Queens. Thanks for the memories. 😊
Patrick Cowley - the father of modern techno/club/house music. Donna Summer the queen of disco. What a combo!
Patrick Cowleys best ever !! This Moroder sound and Kraftwerk are the real forerunners of techno.
My copy was damaged by Hurricane Gloria it is wonderful to hear it in its pristine glory. Thank you...I want this tune to go on forever!
Takes me back to my teenage years and was lucky enough to see Donna Summer LIVE in the Summer of 2005 in Dallas, TX @Starplex - b4 she passed. 🎤
Patrick Cowley....The ''Creator'' of techno sound. A visionary that should never be forgotten.
Donna Summer, there was no other artist that could uplift the soul of Patrick Cowley's sound.
This is the greatest version!
Giorgio made songs like this way earlier in 1977, he is the master and father of EDM, no one came before him!
Donna Summer and Patrick Cowley, THE GOD AND GODDESS OF MUSIC. Thumbs up!!!!
Für mich (!) der beste Mix von "I feel love" !!! Vor Jahren erstmalig auf dem RIAS gehört. Dann lange nicht. Und schließlich doch wieder gefunden ;-)

Giorgio Moroder is the producer of this epic song, NOT Cowley!
Patrick Cowley just extended it,added some guitar riffs and synth effects at the end.
