Thanks sooo much!😭 We need more people like you!!
The sound I was looking for past 5 years !
So refreshing to hear about our team!
Awesome!!
Man!!! You helped me so much!!!! Thank you !!! I watched every other video on it and it wasn’t so clear but now I get that huge snare that I’ve wanting in my mixes!!! God bless you bro!!
Thanks for using some of our clips! Actually mixed this one and most of what we post! 0:08
Hey lets go!!! sounds killer bro love it!!
Great stuff man. It sounds awesome, with and without the reverb.
Thank you!!
Ohhh My God... just what I was needing... thank you a lot bro... is a blessing to have videos like this in my favs videos list...! God Bless You!
Hey thank you!!
Bro this snare is massive! you killed it. That hiltsville EQ is absolute game changer.
Hey thanks!! yeah UAD has game changer plugins!
I feel guilty for see this video for free 😂 so good bro! Thank you SO MUCH
Hey thank you!!!
Super insightful and thorough! Stoked to see how you do this! Keep em coming bro!
Appreciate bro!!!
this is the kind of video i’ve been wanting to see. it’s unfortunate that groups like bethel music turned their snare tone into a profitable thing - asking people to join an online production course or just overall being super vague and mysterious about it. that church already brings in millions from their records and touring, why do we have to sign up for a course?
You can join or not. Its your time free or you receive a salary for your work for example? So just be careful with your words my friend.
My bigger issue is with the sketchy theology episodes their whole ministry has had. Makes the picture a little sad, especially with how excellent their music is
People forget that audio professionals are the ones who develop the presets for plugins. There's a reason they're there, they won't apply to every possible scenario every time but they'll get you REAL close
You are the G.O.A.T. May God bless you.
Hey thank you!! May God bless you too my brother!
very nice.. its amazing to understand how much processing it takes to get that perfect snare sound..
The room snare sample thing is sick - definitely going to use that trick - nice video!
Awesome, thank you!!!
Amazing! this helps a lot to all of us!. I´d love to see another video where you explain how to get the classic country rock/pop drum sound, there´s a lot going on there and/or the typical motown drum sound (dry high pitched snare, etc).
Hey thanks!! Heck yeah i'll do a video on that!!
Great video. Love seeing different signal chains! One suggestion (nothing to do with the actual mix but in your video recording) dip your dialogue mic just a bit during the listening examples. The background room noise interferes a great deal with hearing proper details of the changes made.
Hey glad you liked the vid! yes! appreciate the feedback!
great tutorial! also agree on the background noise. the HVAC hum was making my subs go nuts, lol
Hey bro, are you also able to do a tutorial on mixing vocals in worship context? (Studio vocals)
Yes!!
@@Izzyrealmusic thank you! I’ll be waiting :)
Thanks for making this!
Nice, thanks for sharing, I remember one time I heard a Bethel Mix Engineer talk about his Stream Mix, and he basically was using that SSL plugin for all channels, with the stock plugins 😅, sounds great!! Also, nice tip on that gate plugin, it helps a lot
The video that UA-cam needed 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Let's Goooo!!!
This video is awesome!!!
Eres un crack mi hermano.
How do you make this sound live? Or can it only be used for recording?
this is great stuff
Thank you!!
Bro do a full template mix run down your mix sounds damn near as good as the upperoom mix
Crazy!!🔥 can you do a worship kick sound!?
Yes!! totally!!
love this
Hey thanks!!
good job !
Would you mind sharing where you get your room samples? Thank you. Great info.
Yes!! I think the room sample is from Drum Sample Shop and I believe it's the Super sonic pack. Hopefully that helps you!
Honored :)
Yo!!!! LET"S GO!!!!!!!
WOWW! Thank you so much!
Hey no problem!!
Wow, sounds pretty good. Using a lot of presets. But that's smart, if they just sound good, why not use them. I don't have that UAD Hitsville Mastering EQ. How can I achieve similar results without that plugin? What does it do? Looks like its boosting lows and highs.
Hey glad you liked the vid!! Yeah so the other plugin that I would recommend for getting a similar result is the Waves PuigTec EQ or the Waves Abbey Road TG Mastering chain plugin! They are both really great for getting a similar result.
Thanks for the great video! I’m new to mixing and audio engineering so this may be a dumb question:
Is this mixing only for broadcasting/recording or can this sound be used for live performance as well? If so, do you need to hook up your mac to a mixing console (ex. X32) via audio interface?
Sweet!! Hey there are no dumb questions here lol, what I showed can be applied for broadcasting and recording! But you can use these same principles for live mixing cause I get the same sound when I mix on a X32 with their stock plugins and it sounds great and fat! With the X32 I don't gate cause I want to hear the ghost notes but i'll do EQ then compression then Gated verb then big verb and on the main bus of the drums I do a parallel compression and it gets me a fat sound and whats crazy is that the snare is a 14x5 steel snare that you can get for $150 and sounds just like the ludwig black beauty 🤯 I hope this helps you!!
@@Izzyrealmusic oh wow thank you so much for such a detailed response!! Can’t wait to start trying these out at my church!
@@Cokezero12 Let's Go!!!!
Sensacional... até me inscrevi.
From Brazil
AWESOME!!!
What program is that with the presets?
Do a full mixing for a song tutorial😢
YES! That is the next video that I have in the works!
Hi what software are u using and where did u get the plugins? Thank uuu.
Hey! So i'm using Logic pro as my DAW and for the plugins they are from Black Salt Audio, Waves and UA Spark
@@Izzyrealmusic thanks for your response appreciate it 🙏🏻
Hello sir, what software are you using?
Hey! I'm using Logic Pro
What hz is your snare at?
I honestly don't know lol! I'll have to get a tune bot and check it out, I have my snare tuned in a medium tuning though.
Why should I always flip the phase on the bottom snare mic?
The Snare will sound thin if you don't flip the phase on the bottom mic cause of the wave samples wont line up and you'll lose frequencies.
Just gotta say that a recording engineer could already have taken care of it. So “always” check imo.
Great video man!
Share me the drum tracking
What is the name of the song 0.12 sec ? ua-cam.com/video/hJXFhjbRkes/v-deo.html
That song is Heretic by Gable Price & Friends
According to audio forums: Using preset on plugin is a blasphemy.
