Thank you for your videos. I have just bought my first dehydrator. I researched dehydrating meats and most of the research from health agencies say dehydrating raw meat can cause bad bacteria to grow and all meats and fish should be cooked first. This concerns me as all recipes in books and on youtube use raw meats for making jerky. I'm confused??? why the conflicting information. I would really appreciate your feedback.

I am looking for good dehydrator with double wall sides which doesn’t consume so much energy. Can you recommend something?

Is the casing some kind of plastic. How durable it is in high temperature

HI! The Sahara is made of ABS plastic and is completely BPA-free. The materials are capable of withstanding temperatures much higher than the upper limit of the Dehydrator.

What coconut milk and coconut yogurt did you use? I tried this and it did not set up.

Sorry, we can’t be sure what brand was used at the time. Coconut milk yogurt will not set like dairy yogurt will unless some type of thickener is used. You can see in the video that the finished yogurt is thin. (But still tasty!) If you prefer a thicker texture, we have a recipe that uses a thickener on our website. brodandtaylor.com/blogs/recipes/coconut-milk-yogurt-recipe

@@brodandtaylor It would be helpful in the future to show the brand/type of ingredients. Mine never changed at all from a regular “milk” stage and I followed the video exactly.

Heating plastics isn't good for your health. Only use a stainless steel dehydrator.
