The city is really clean.
Very clean and organized
Lived in kisumu area for 1 year.
Love: fresh fish, affordable compared to Nairobi, friendly, clean, chill lifestyle, and good work opportunity.
Dislikes: very hot, can be dangerous at night, not a lot of night life, not a lot of options for restaurants, and not as diverse as Nairobi. Overall, it is where the peace corps HQ for Kenya is and it was amazing to live there. It’s more quiet compared to Nairobi, Nakuru, and Mombasa. Its very similar to kigali vibe. Napenda video zako

Such a clean serene city,I couldn't believe my eyes.
Kisumu people are so friendly, you are right, kisumu is clean because at the CBD, hawkers are not allowed only in the outskirts. The cleanest city in Kenya, beating Nairobi by far, its only that Nairobi is the capital of Kenya otherwise 😅, climate is ever favourable as well

Grace, I had to pause the video at 8:56 because I just realised something. In your last video in Nakuru I remember you saying at one point that if this was in Nairobi there would be so many Hookers on the street. And I was thinking, ah, what a pity, I didn't realise that Nairobi had such a problem with Street Hookers. In this video, you just said at 8:34 that one of the reasons the streets are so clean in Kisumu is because they don't allow Hawkers to sell on the street. Oh my... *blush* You meant Hawkers in the last video also. Now, it makes sense. Sorry, just had to stop and share that with you. What do I know.. *Blush*
