@@vrflightguyinpjpants5023 How did you get two flights in the two different version so nicely synchronized? Most comparing videos show two flights where they tried manually to do about the same, but here it looks like you have a perfectly identical flight and viewing angle for both systems.
I think I have spilled the "trade secrets" on another reply...here we go again... One mission file, 2 F-5E, one for the player, sitting on the ground; the other is for the AI, in flight. So you play the mission, save the track file. replay it while recording. Do this once for the original, once more in Remastered. The interesting part is how to stick these 2 clips together. I use Da Vinci Resolve to do the editing. Both clips stack on each other on the timeline. As the upper one always cover the clip below, so, the bottom half of the top clip is cropped while the bottom clip shifts down. Done. Just that simple.
How do you make split screen videos? Watch the same track with different jets? If i choose to watch a track, i cannot change views during it unless i take control

"I guess they need to redo the UVs (it would be neat to check the textures in the cockpit), because PBR requires AO baking, which isn’t compatible with all types of UV layouts. You can’t use the same UV island for different parts of the cockpit since their AO will differ. The pilot model is new, and there are subtle changes in the cockpit’s 3D model itself.
And people can say what they want to say. I have learnt to art of active filtering out things that does not make sense after all these years. And thank you for kind comments.
@@retxxrns2436 With absolute respect to you, this is a very ignorant reply. Could you share with us what you tell us in your own words what makes this worth a paid upgrade? Aside from shiny textures of course. I am willing to be educated and for clarity I am more than willing to pay a mere $10 for a worthwhile upgrade to my beloved F-5E; to date I cannot see anything astonishing to warrant my time, effort and the meagre 10 bucks. I am a constructive ED supporter, certainly not an ED basher.
Very nice editing job, shows perfectly what you're getting.
I am flattered. I still have a lot of things to learn about video making.

New or old, doesn't matter...in both versions you probably forgot to retract speedbrakes that are extended by default when starting up...😉
Thanks for your comment! Sorry to disappoint you is that in the clip, it was the AI doing the flying, the player plane was on the ground...
@vrflightguyinpjpants5023 haha...no worries. Was no criticism...
It is okay. I notice that too so I am going to have a chat with that AI pilot in particular. It simply did not follow my orders.
IRC, those did that IRL.
This is a nicer upgrade, but it should have been the free upgrade.

New or old, doesn't matter...You'll lose your wing tips whilst trying to do ariel maneuvers lol
Reminds me of the F-14 module of old. Thank you.
the new canopy glass makes this upgrade mandatory imho
Also, the vapour trail from the wing root extension, if you can spot it.
so they just weathered the textures a bit?
PBR, some new textures aaaand, that's it

Right here is no difference, but everything what I know they spend, 7500 hours. for that.
I wish ED would employ me for 7500hrs to create something similar
Virtual hours 😂
