I ride my cannondale sm 1000 in winnipeg Manitoba.....no mountains..I'm from Thunder Bay Ontario Canada...Canadian shield riding is very fun....lots of elevation changes and twist and turns...full suspension is awesome
Isn't a ful suspension MTB kind of too much for Dutch trails? I do both road cycling and MTB and i find using a hardtail actually way more fun to ride on Dutch trails
Well this trail doesn't really need any suspension but i just been to Amerongen and that was really nice to have this fully. I was riding with a buddy on a hard tail and I noticed a massive difference when going through corners with bumps etc, i was lots faster. Also it's way more comfortable. I have no recent experience on a hard tail so can't tell the difference myself....
Its fast, but the fastest? For me my scott spark is more agressive and faster (tested both). The cannondale is more smooth. But i guess its personal. btw: I ride my tires 1.5 front and 1.7 rear (2.25 tires) for racing. I can go a bit lower when cruising or mayby when i would use wider rims. I keep the handle bars at 68 cm. I feel there is no reason to ride it wider (its a trend), handling does not improve much more and at 68 cm your more versatile. Especially with narrower single tracks , tight cornering and riding in a platoon.
Just what I've been told 😆😆 I'm sure the Scott is a very good bike too!🤙🤙 If i ride 1.7 the rear starts to roll too much in corners so need more pressure..
🤔 Why didn't you try the hill braamberg that's connected to this trail? You make 200 meters of elevation over 6 km and it's constantly between 10 and 25 percent steep...
Enjoy going on rides with you and seeing places I haven’t visited.
Good to see you more on the MTB.. ride on🤙
“Mountain” biking in Nederland..... good one jasper :)
Wait for my next mtb video 🤙 got some cool singletracks video coming
What a way to start
Dawm yoo that bike is what I want to get.....good choice great video

Sounds goooddd🤙
Nice to see you try all those different bikes! I wonder if you ever sleep as you do a lot of work altogether. Big respect.
😅
do you recommend this bike for only commuting ?
No, unless you commute through rock gardens, Mtb trails and steep descents 😜
Jasper, ook al op braambergen geweest? Dat is ook om de hoek en veel technischer
nog niet. binnenkort even kijken

Hi my friend, can I ask what is the chain ring size of this machine?
Standard factory bike. Maybe check the website. I don't know by heart
Cool bike!

I prefur 70 cm widebar
how long is your HB?
Long
Great single for gravel bikes 😉
I actually hate this trail on my gravel bike...
Hey Jasper you should give some bike handling skills lessons to Remco!!!!
Which Remco?
You want to challenge MVDP for the Netherlands selection at the olympique games ?
Sure!😅
Netherlands is quite clowdy!

I didn't have the code of the fence that closes the trail
@@jasperverkuijl Ofcourse. I believe it's six euros for the whole year.
nice video 👌
My Trek supercaliber is much faster! ( when you are riding it😁)
Keep on the good work Jasper!🤙🏼
Ok let me try!!

Je snelheid is niet te hoog, waarschijnlijk wel je bandenspanning te hoog zodat je te weinig grip hebt en minder snel de bocht kan maken. ;-)

Start MTB in the NL ...hahahaha - good one...
just watch some xco races, i dont think 1 bike is particularly faster than another its just the athlete on the day.
Off course the athlete is the big factor!!👍
Hahahaha psychopath. 🤓🤓🤓👀😎👅👌
Regards from Germany. 🥳
My Canyon Lux will smoke you... ;-)
You or the bike?🤣🤣
dummy discs 🤣
What's that?
@@jasperverkuijl ah, just joking. im referring to the plastic discs on the hubs for the wheels.
No it's not the fastest xc mtb out there
Ok
@@jasperverkuijl that is the Scott Spark
