Jasper, great video again, thank you for that. If I may offer a pro tip: always schedule your Cap Formentor rides to arrive at the start of the first climb by 9:00am. That way you will have the road to yourself there and back. Do not stop for a coffee at the lighthouse because the traffic is coming soon plus they’re not open if your group is quick. For my slower groups I shuttle them in a van to the start and have them ride back so they get their mileage in. Also one more point, a some cyclists like cheat on the climbs by going in the oncoming lane to save a few metres of climbing. I witness that on your videos. Please don’t do that. There are a lot of cyclist coming down too and you can’t hear them coming. I have witnessed head on collisions and experienced quite a few near misses when bombing down a switch back corner only to see a cyclist in my lane. It’s absolutely terrifying and you don’t need your clients experiencing that. If everyone rides on their side of the road safety improves dramatically. Cheers and thanks again for a great job.
Good tip, I’ll see if I can get them to rise and shine early and get there before 0900. (It’s quite far from alaro including Sa batalla) The other point… I agree in general. It may have been my shots up Magdalena.. tbh you can’t see on camera what you see in real life. I teach them to stay on the right side. myself… I always check if there are cyclist coming up or down. If i cant see, I won’t be on the wrong side.
Re Cap Formentor: I’m suggesting you take that small road from Alero to Pollensa which gets you to the Cap in maybe an hour, I can’t remember exactly. After doing the Cap loop then go up the Col de Feminina (sp) and then down Col de Sa Batilla. That way you get the Cap over with before the madness sets in and you get to show your clients a different climb(Feminina) and then you get to blast down Sa Batilla which I think is the most beautiful descent of them all. I think it’s your normal loop in reverse no?
@@stevevarga8621 actually, all routes are planned in a way that we never see the same climb or road twice in the whole camp. (I thought about this very well 🤓) (Same road in same direction). In this 2nd week we did the Sa calobra day in reversed direction as normal because of different reasons so we did Sa batalla on that day, so twice. By going to cap formentor the short way, I would never do Sa batalla in this week (of we do Sa calobra day the direction it’s originally planned) and that would be a shame. I’ll have a look at the plan and see if I can turn things around so that it will still make sense. 🤓🤓
YEAH BUDDY!! We celebrate the good stuff man! Entire week is full gas excitement 👌🤗 (I was pushing Edward on the last climb riding side by side and he was digging deep. That’s why I was so excited🙌🏻. Ed is coming back again in 2025 so will push him again to get new Pr’s!)

I know we're staying further out, but we went up last year around 09:00 and had very little cars and no buses. And we definitely didn't go up on the weekend either.
