There is a lot of symbolism, so much that a video just analyzing it by itself would be cool

The first big moment was the white boy going with an M-16 to shoot kids, which is unfortunately something that happens once a twice a year. The one probably being referenced most with that clip is the Newtown shootings where a very poorly taken care of kid with borderline autism took an AR-15 to his mom, then went to the nearby elementary school with that and a kevlar chest plate and shot up a classroom, killing the teacher, the receptionist, and over 20 2nd graders with a few others that i'm likely forgetting. It happened a few more times in various places throughout the following years, the most notable of which was an incident in a Florida high school. The soldiers reference is a lot of soldiers dying in wars that had little to do with US interests, like Iraq or Syria. The sadder references you might not have gotten early on were people filming horrific scenes with phones rather than f'ing helping someone. That alone has killed a number of people and gotten one girl raped as her best friend used a phone to film her getting raped while she was unconscious at a party. Her best friend just stood there and filmed it, crying because it was horrific but she wouldn't stop filming. Other examples include the random killings by police in recent years, where a variety of people were busy filming and not doing SOMETHING to either deescalate the situation or stop it. All in all, just a horrific statement on the reality of the living in the USA sometimes.
I feel like the song is a good artistic representation of the debate between revolution and evolution. It's basically the ploy of life. Being you are born to one day die the next. It is a message to take life seriously and not just be a bystander. Just posting the comment because I think its something to be said. The song is amazing. And musically put together very well. The production as a whole is awesome. 🤙🏻🤘🏻

Shows the people filming instead of helping Mass shootings (School, Workplace and in Public) Opiate overdoses & deaths, Morbid Obesity & overeating ( the scene with the people at the table taking selfies & shoving food in there mouth) Human trafficking. They hit on almost everything that is going on and wrong in America right now. Instead of being United it's so divided. I think that's why they said "Whatever we choose, We will do it together" It's a really good song and awesome video, really deep & thought provoking.
So I believe that I Prevail is trying to convey the message that we dont value life anymore. Though this video is very relevant today (RIP George) this song came out last year. I believe its saying that no matter how much we can say we pray or hope, we are still slowly losing our humanity and becoming "zombies" to the norms of society.

This is related to the man who just got murdered by cops. He was DOA and screaming I can't breathe. Joyner Lucas part was speaking on the protesting and how it's being handled wrong by protesters
This song is over a year old, this song has nothing to do with George Floyd. It is indeed a statement on the current state of the American society. Joyner's verse was added and this video was almost definitely recorded before the George Floyd incident. It's just coincidence that they seem to coincide.

The school shooting was white on white. Don't pay attention to one issue in the song. It touches on pretty everything going on in America at that time and still it goes on... don't get it. But hell yea man. Do a drum cover of this shit. That'd be awesome.
