@@evan.5967 six of crows? yes. I am just seeing this now, but funnily enough I just reread the duology earlier this year after watching the show last year. Definitely recommend!
I LOVED this book and the writing style is really well done. Kaz and his issues, Inej and her strength, Mathias and Nina, Wylan and Jesper...omg! I loved it. Just total love.
100% agree with your feelings about Six of Crows! I freaking LOVED this book, and it's definitely my favorite from Leigh so far. Can't wait till Crooked Kingdom is out!
I really loved this book too! I can't wait for Crooked Kingdom. I haven't read any of the original Grisha Trilogy yet so I'll be doing that in the next few months, and your calling Six of Crows a sort of allegory made it even more intriguing to me!
This is the first time I finished a Leigh Bardugo book. She writes well. She uses a lot of terminologies that were confusing me while reading though it never mattered. The characters are the stars of this book. They are the reason why I continued reading despite I don't have ideas what the world building is. Kudos to the Dregs!
I love this book too! Wylan is my favorite (and has been since he was first introduced doodling in the corner of the Crow Club), and I can't wait to get his perspective in the second book!
I love your reviews, they're always super informative and interesting :) This sounds amazing! Plus, it's also super beautiful. I really need to check this out soon.
I just did a review for my channel, and had a look at a few beforehand and this one was pretty good. Completely agree about the perspectives being clear cut - for me, it sequed between the different viewpoints, wasn't an issue at all. Characters, story and world (the dark gritty underworld of crime, with magic tossed in) was great... my major issue was that they overcome some of the challenges too easily, they come across as undefeatable. I was a bit surpised how violent it was for a YA book, not that it bothered me.
hi i liked your review for six of crows but i wanna ask can i read it without reading the grisha trilogy first ? also you are one of my FAVORITE BOOKTUBERS !!! go ahead! :)
@@veronikaibe8550 this is my opinion but read the shadow and bones trilogy first because it helps set up the world and you might not totally understand everything in six of crows without prior knowledge
@@veronikaibe8550 Also throwing my opinion in here (although it may already be to late), I've read soc first and after the first chapter (which was really the only time i did not quite get all of the terminology) i think it does introduce the world sufficiently. But be aware that Crooked Kingdom (the sequel) spoilers the end of the shadow and bone trilogy:)
I am reading this with sync ferrocious Joy...one must take this step to onderstand the bardugo grisha empire Never read such Magic systems as the grisha world in all the books Kan and the band in the fire of the heisst The whole pov treatment was very to the point as allegory The world evolving around the six charters is Superb all the wat throughout the dense intricate grisha subject matter
I really like your channel.I wanna ask you. is it cheap to buy a book for average Canadian and what average price of book? P.S:I really interested in it because of I live in Ukraine and it isn't cheap to buy a books and usually we read in electronic book or in library or borrow book )
Is this book trailered to men or women? I am a man and this book seems very interesting but I have never read any of Leigh bardugo books so I am not sure weather I will like it or not
Halfway through I HATE this book! What do you mean six characters all _different_ ? 👀 *They are all the same character in different bodies.* Just angry teenagers who are world weary. No character building at all. *Backstory ≠ character!* There's the boy one. There's the girl one who is the female version of the boy one. There is the other boy one who is _radically_ different because he's ummmm... * _blonde_* I guess👀 🤷? There is the other girl one who is just a flirty talky version of all the above characters. There are the other two boy ones too I suppose.... Only distinctive because one of them is like, I dunno, maybe six months to a year younger than the other ancient 17 year olds in the book. And he's from a wealthy background🙄. Sooooo... _Radically_ different. (Sarcasm snorts.🙄🙄🙄) and the final boy one who ummmm.... I dunno likes weapons or something 🤷.
I watch reviews after I read the book, just so I get other peoples opinions on the book after I formed my own.
Lea Kenny and was it good?

A few weeks later and I have. And I love it❤️
@@Bookwormtalksabout the did your books come with sprayed edges? Mine didn’t and I’m worried 😢
Mae mae No I bought them at Barnes and Nobles, so don’t worry besides it’s not really the cover that matters it’s the story itself

After shadow and bones series, time to binge read SoC
Would this be a good intro to Leigh Bardugo's writing?
I read Six of Crows before the Grisha trilogy and afterwards I read Smoke and Bone and I think it made me love the writing even more

Is this a YA book or can anyone enjoy this?
Karli This is a year late but I’m 11 and I’m into this book!
What's different between original and collectors edition??
Can I ask this question, where do buy your books online? Can you send me a link, please?
Is it safe? I'm scared to be scammed, anyway thank you so much!!!
Alexandra Anceno amazon.com is not a scam. you can buy anything and everything there and not have to worry about it.
I really love the book depository- great discounts and free shipping
Is it a romance in this??
it has a bit of romance yes, but not very intense. Still amazing though.
